I Killed the Hero and Took His Achievements-Chapter 31: One Giant Leap for Violence
[Location: Trans-Lunar Orbit]
[Ship: HMS Profit Margin (Mk. II)]
[Time to Destination: 10 Minutes.]
The ship was pure silent. There were absolutely no jokes and banter.
Ahri was sharpening her daggers, Seraphina was praying, and Sparky was hyper-focusing on the navigation console.
I sat in the Captain’s ’Throne’ while staring at the white-gray ish sphere that was growing larger and larger in the viewpoint. It was the Moon. Through the telescope, I could see it. The Dark Side was covered in glowing green and blue veins of datastreams.
[Location: Technocracy Base Alpha]
[Population: 100,000 Cyborg.]
[Threat: Extreme.]
"They took her to the Citadel area," Sparky pointed to a big tower in the center of a crater. "That’s their biology lab."
"Entering orbit in 3... 2... 1..."
THUD. The ship shuddered on the ground.
"We are being greeted," Sparky said.
A hologram appeared on the bridge. A face made of pure geometry.
[Entity: The Prime Administrator.]
"UNIDENTIFIED VESSEL. YOU ARE IN RESTRICTED SPACE. PLEASE TURN BACK OR BE ELIMINATED ENTIRELY."
I stood up menacingly. I pressed the Fire Button. [Railgun: Plot Armor Round.] It wasn’t the Million Gold Round because I was out of those, instead it was a standard Adamantite Bullet Shell infused with Void Magic.
BOOM.
The bullet fired. It crossed the vacuum within seconds. It hit the communication relay satellite that was orbiting the moon. The hologram glitched and vanished entirely. "Diplomacy is completed," I said menacingly. "Take us down."

[The Moon Surface - Mare Crisium]
We landed on the surface of moon, resulting a cloud of moon dust. The gravity was 1/6th of the Planet’s.
"Suits on," I ordered firmly.
Sparky had just invented a synthesized Mana-Atmosphere Fields device. Little atmosphere with glowing bubbles surrounding our heads recycled oxygen from outside recurrently.
We stepped onto the moon’s surface slowly.
I rebounded from the ground.
"Whee!" Ahri jumped 20 feet wholeheartedly into the air. "I’m flying whoo!"
"Focus," I snapped them seriously. "We have company."
From the crater edge, red lights suddenly appeared.
[Enemy: Lunar Drones (Mark V)]
[Level: 50]
Hundreds of them. Flying drones with laser beams.
"They’re swarming us!" Seraphina cried while raising a shield.
"Ahri!" I commanded.
"On it!"
Ahri leaped in low gravity, she moved like a superhero. She rebounded off a rock, soaring up to 50 feet. [Skill: Fox Fire Barrage.] Blue fireballs barraged rampantly on the drones. BOOM. BOOM. BOOM. Explosions in space were awkwardly silent but the vibrations shook the ground dreadfully.
I drew my Handgun. PEW. PEW. I shot drones out of the sky with extremely precised precision. "Advance to the airlock!" I ordered.
We fought our way to the massive ’blast doors’ of the Citadel.
It was locked tight.
"Sparky! Hack it now!"
"It’s... it’s encrypted with Interstellar Species’ Math! I need at least 10 minutes!
"We don’t have even 5 minutes!"
A massive shadow towered over us.
"Move aside," I said. I touched the door. The adamantium bolts twisted, liquefied, and flowed into my ring. CLANG. The door fell open wide. We dove inside quickly just as the Tank about to fire. The bullet hit the ground where we stood a second ago, creating a new crater.

[Inside the Citadel - Biology Labs]
The airlock hissed and the pressure then stabilized. We were inside the Citadel. It looked like a ward designed by a wicked serial killer, white walls and glass tubes that were filled by green liquid. Inside the tubes...
"By the Goddess," Seraphina gasped hysterically.
Humans, elves, orcs, and all kinds of the Planet’s habitant species. They were floating in hanging and tubes were connected to their brains.
[Status: Processing.]
[Purpose: Neural Networking.]
"Where is Sylvia?" I grabbed a passing laboratory bot by its neck.
"Processing... Sector 9... Genetic Extraction..." the bot signaled.
I ripped its head off severed.
"Sector 9. Move right away."
We ran through the corridors. Alarms suddenly barked.
We finally reached Sector 9. It was a massive room but with a single central pod. The inside was... Sylvia. She was suspended in blue liquid. Needles were drilling into her spine, extracting glowing white fluid.
[Ice Dragon Essence.]
Standing in front of the pod was a tall figure that was robed in white laboratory coat.
[Boss: The Genetor]
[Rank: High Scientist]
[Level: 70]
"Fascinating," The Genetor whispered while ignoring us. "The cryo-genes are impressively solid. If we could clone this, we can create an army of powerful Ice Fighters."
"Get away from her," I snarled.
The Genetor turned at us. He had no face, just a screen displaying a waveform. "Ah. The Primitives, you came far from the Planet."
"You release her immediately!"
"Cannot comply. To extract the data, we had to disassemble her soul and she is currently fragmented entirely."
"If she dies," I walked forward violently, my aura flaring black like an abyss, "I will disassemble you atom by atom."
"Violence is inefficient." The Genetor pressed a button. CLICK. The pod began to drain. Sylvia’s eyes suddenly opened. She gasped as if she was drowning in the air. "Subject is expendable. Initiating Purge."
"NO!"
I charged quickly. [Skill: Shadow Step.] I appeared in front of the glass. I punched it forcefully. CRACK. It was reinforced glass. My knuckles bled.
"Master!" Ahri yelled. "The Genetor is behind you!"
The Genetor fired a Gravity Beam. It hit me entirely. I was slammed onto the wall. pinned by 10Gs of force. "You cannot save her now," The Genetor buzzed. "She is data now."
Sylvia clawed at the glass. Her eyes met mine and she looked extremely terrified. She mouthed a word. "Run."
I grounded my teeth. "I don’t run."
[Skill: Infinite Growth (Active).]
I pushed against the gravity. My bones creaked and muscles tore forcefully.
[Strength: +10%... +20%... +50%.]
"I... SAID..." I forced my arm forward. I aimed my Void Ring at the Genetor. "SYSTEM OVERRIDE!"
[Target: Gravity Beam.]
[Action: Reverse.]
The beam didn’t stop. It Reflected. The Genetor was hit by his own weapon. He collapsed, his metal body imploding under his own weight.
I dropped to the floor. I ran to the pod quickly. I didn’t punch it this time, instead I used the Soul-Eater’s Fang. SLASH. The blade cut the glass like butter.
Sylvia fell into my arms. She was cold, too cold.
"Sylvia!" Her skin was pale blue. Her breathing was shallow.
"They... took it," she whispered. "My blood... my magic..."
I checked her status.
[Status: Critical.]
[Mana Core: Depleted.]
[Bloodline: Stripped.]
She was clealy dying.
"Seraphina! Heal her immediately!"
Seraphina ran over. She cast [Greater Heal]. Golden light washed over Sylvia entirely. "It’s not working!" Seraphina cried loudly. "Her body is fine, but something is missing! She needs an Ice Source!"
I looked around. The extraction canisters were smashed. The essence was lost. "I can’t lose her," I muttered. I looked at my inventory. I had the Heart of the Ancient Dragon.
[Item: Heart of the Ancient Dragon (Mythic).]
[Contains: Infinite Ice Mana.]
It was the source of energy for the Empire. The most valuable item in the world. I looked at Sylvia dearly, then I placed the Heart on her chest.
[Skill: System Override.]
[Action: Fusion.]
[Target 1: Sylvia Frost.]
[Target 2: Dragon Heart.]
"Fuse!" FLASH. Blue light blinded us. The room froze instantly. The temperature dropped to absolute zero. When the light faded...
Sylvia stood up. Her silver hair had turned luminous white and her eyes were glowing blue sapphires. Dragon wings made of pure ice sprouted from her back rapidly.
[Evolution Is Completed.]
[New Race: Ice Dragonkin (High Royal).]
[Level: 26 -> 60.]
She looked at her both hands. She clenched her fist, then the air shattered unconditionally. "I feel..." Sylvia sighed. "Cold." She looked at the Genetor, who was trying to creep away. "You took my blood," she said angrily. She raised a hand.
[Skill: Absolute Glaciation.]
She didn’t fire a beam but she simply just Willed it. The Genetor froze. Not just his skin, his circuits, data, and soul. He turned into a sculpture of pure ice. Sylvia snapped her fingers. PING. The statue shattered into dust entirely.
She turned to me. She smiled with a terrifying and inhuman smile. "Thank you, Master."
I sat on the floor, utterly exhausted. "You owe me 500 Million Gold for that heart."
"Please put it on my tab."
I laughed sublimely.
[Technocracy Database (Downloading...).]
"Sparky," I said, looking at the terminal interface. "While you’re downloading their military secrets, check their bank accounts too."
"Way ahead of you, Boss! Hacking the Interstellar Exchange..."
[System Notification]
[Siphoning Funds...]
[Currency Converted: +50,000,000,000 Gold.]
I grinned heinously. "Looks like I just won the lottery."
