Chapter 112: Feed your troops, commander!

Monsters respawned because of the black matter.

That was the view from the whole world, and Reylin didn't suspect they were wrong. Either way, the system also confirmed that each monster possessed a little dark matter.

Reylin dropped those dark matters from them for his main quest.

However, as Reylin checked his main quest, he suddenly widened his eyes.

[Your Main Quest has been updated.]

[You are ineligible for the main quest.]

[The Enemy Of The World.]

"Oh really?" Reylin sneered.

Aria shifted her eyes to him, "What happened?"

"Just checked my main quest," Reylin relayed her news.

Seeing that message, Aria chuckled and leaned toward him, "How should I beat my enemy? Would my troops be enough?"

Although the dark matter had been haunting the Faynom World and was the reason for its change, Aria wouldn't put away the rune. She would utilize it for her own strength and use it for good. Of course, that was what many players would do except those who cared for their reputation.

Reylin was the same, and he jested, "This makes you my acquaintance in that little ploy."

That title sounded cool, but Reylin wasn't the enemy of the whole world.

Knowing about layers and other races that had gone higher, Reylin deemed the ascended petty.

He looked down on them even more.

Of course, that made things more straightforward, "Let's try the rune then."

Reylin and Aria activated the rune at the same time.

That was when the change no one expected happened.

Both of them got teleported to a different dimension.

That was indeed a teleport!

Reylin looked around with solemn eyes, "Teleports have been so limited yet we have found a rune that teleports us somewhere else... That can't be just the creation of some random hidden group."

No answer came from the side.

That was because Aria and Reylin had been separated. 𝗳𝒓𝙚e𝓌e𝚋𝙣𝚘𝐯𝙚𝙡.𝑐૦m

[Your System has been blocked by an unknown power.]

"Hmm..." Reylin sighed and nonchalantly said, "I will hold onto her in real life."

The first separation was short, and Reylin had received a useful rune. He wasn't that bothered by it as he also helped her guild.

However, the second one somehow riled Reylin up.

Although it might make Aria a little fed up, Reylin would blame his lack of experience and just stick to her like a yandere husband.

For now, the situation required his focus.

Reylin glared at the black mass of dark matter.

It was a small orb, about the size of an adult human's head.

It floated silently and didn't let out any sound. For a mass of dark matter, it was pretty docile.

As for Reylin's surroundings, it was like an island made out of the sand. It was just desert and nothingness around him.

Reylin didn't dare jump off the sand to test his luck, so he focused on the small orb instead.

[You can create your first troop.]

The system's message told Reylin about two ways.

He could use the system to create the monsters he had fought with. Be it undead or even that lich from the dark matter zone, Reylin would be able to reproduce it.

That piqued Reylin's interest as he was interested in how much potential a raw dark matter would show.

However, he didn't do anything.

The other option was that Reylin could sculpt his own troop.

Of course, the second option was much more challenging as it required raw skill from a player. It forced the player's creativity to be top-notch, just as his skills.

Bad anatomy would be a significant weakness, and one also would be forced to somehow cover it should that happen.

Many other weaknesses followed that.

Players would need to give meaning to their troops through the second option.

The first option would bring a monster from the past. It also could be a human, and it would have already the meaning since Reylin had experienced that existence beforehand.

"The second option will scare most players away..." Reylin inferred.

He didn't know Aria's skills, but she probably should've chosen the first option already. For Reylin, both possibilities were fine as he had good art skills. He knew how to draw, and he didn't have problems with sculpting in the past.

However, the second option wasn't why Reylin hadn't done anything yet.

He inwardly said, 'Could a mere hidden organization without any powerful backing make such a rune?' That was precisely what stopped him.

So far, Reylin looked down on those dark matter people.

However, the necromancer had some skills, making Reylin work hard for his victory.

Had his Crown Mana and Fire Heart not appeared, Reylin would've probably suffered a big loss.

He was more cautious this time, but the situation really reeked off with something weird, 'Master... Wasn't there a master?'

Reylin heard their talk well, and he remembered the Master's call.

That person must've helped with the rune experiment!

Reylin also felt the call was made because of their arrival...

If that was the case, then Reylin could only... smile.

[You've chosen the first option.]

[The Blue Rose Royal Family's Knight - Alyona]

That was quite a throwback to the past.

That was a female knight that had caught Reylin due to the level gap and her recklessness. She was a crazy woman that Reylin deemed a dear friend since she threw herself into his flames just to get him.

He lit up the whole forest back then, and that would do a lot of damage, even if one was somewhat stronger with higher levels.

Alyona appeared before Reylin.

She was nothing but an appearance.

Her mature face was expressionless and dark matter failed to make her armor yet. Her curves and melons were tempting, even if the dark matter was her base.

She looked soft as any woman, but the dark matter's armor soon donned her beautiful body, and she regained a little of her valiant and decisive aura.

Reylin smirked.

He didn't go for anyone too strong, but not too weak.

He went for a perfect balance since Alyona was level thirty.

She didn't have much raw strength, but her personality was her strong trait. If the first option gave meaning, then she should also have it!

After Alyona blinked her eyes, Reylin received a message.

[Dark Alyona Lv. 1 HP: 100/100 MP: 100/100]

[Mood: Confused.]

[Status: Hungry.]

[Skills: - Blue Rose Royal Swordsmanship(E)]

"Oh, you poor soul," Reylin said.

He extended his hand and caressed her cheek.

That was as soft as it looked to be, and Alyona's body was indeed reproduced well. She would be like a human if her skin was of a different color.

No one was that dark, and she seemed like a dark undead instead.

Reylin let her stay confused while he reached for the dark matter's leftovers.

He chuckled as Alyona took a lot of dark mass and left just a little. Reylin decided to make a small gnome with his artistic skills.

He conjured flames, but his standard flames didn't work on the dark matter!

'I can't reveal Crown's Mana yet...' Reylin quickly inferred.

He fished out a bone sword from his inventory and lit it up with flames again.

A combination of the sharp weapon and flames allowed Reylin to slowly sculpt his second troop.

It was a gnome.

[Dark Gnome.]

A short existence wore pants and robes. A hoodie covered its ugly face, but its nose stretched out of it. Its eyes blinked as well, and it slowly rose to peek into Reylin's eyes.

[Dark Gnome Lv. 1 HP: 100/100 MP: 100/100]

[Mood: Confused.]

[Status: Hungry.]

[Skills: Noone]

Ding!

[Dark Gnome has developed a high affinity with fire!]

No one needed to explain why a dark gnome developed a high affinity with fire!

Reylin nodded at them and said, "I am your creator."

Although it took them a while to register those words, their mood had changed. They bowed at Reylin and awaited his orders.

Reylin planned to leave the world and contact Aria to check her progress and compare a few things, but the sudden message stopped him.

[Dark Army Quest #1 - Feed your troops, commander!]

[Your army can not stay hungry! Otherwise, their dark matter bodies will crumble, and they will die! You can feed them by giving them dark matter.]

Reylin's inventory had a few liquified dark matter, so he took it out. He fed his troops with those drinks, then their status changed.

[Status: Happy and Loyal.]

Reylin was about to leave, but another message stopped him.

[Dark Army Quest #2 - Feed your troops more, commander!]

[You have been invited to one versus one match vs. an ***** player.]

[Defeat his troops using your, and let them feed on the fallen!]

[Reward for winning - five dark matter orbs.]

[Reward for losing - two dark matter orbs.]

"It's not Lioness, right?" Reylin said out loud.

He didn't mind fighting with her, but there shouldn't be a censor on her name should it be really Lioness. After all, Reylin was well aware of her possessing the same rune!

Reylin accepted the match, "Let's see who our enemy is."

-

A place where no sun reached and the dark moon was welcomed.

"Rey... Flames... Lin... That's another interesting fellow," An existence chuckled.

He turned his eyes to another sand island.

Beauty with white hair amassed quite a lot of troops.

"Lioness... Quantity, huh..." An existence pondered.

He turned his eyes to yet another island...

And he did it many times...

Many individuals had made their own armies and set out to fight!

That wasn't an event for just one continent.

All players around the globe had participated in it...

"A woman... with portal skills?" An existence's eyes widened in shock!

That woman was a beauty as well.

She commanded a strong army, and her presence compelled everyone to look at her. And as she drew attention, her red eyes pinned down everyone, including the existence himself.

On a battlefield, grace mattered not yet her every step added elegance to her beauty and contrasted well with her overbearing aura.

That woman threw her red hair behind, and her red lips curved up into a mesmerizing smile!

It was yet another quick victory!

"Who is she?" An existence questioned himself while disbelief rippled within his hues.

He kept staring at that woman who could be called the embodiment of fire yet her skills were utterly different.

Although he didn't expect that question to pop out now, he really did ask himself, "Have I found my queen?"

It was too fast for that, so the existence quickly closed his eyes.

He changed the scenery and let the woman do whatever she wanted.

However, his heart kept beating fast, and it was clear that this woman had charmed yet another man.
