Chapter 168: Changnam's Mana Vault

"Your Majesty, your Flame Waifu and other forces have been used to extinguish the plant monsters dungeon, and a few players camps in the Yu Continent," A woman with blue hair and valiant aura bowed before the Crown Dragon.

Reylin sat on his throne with his eyes closed.

Those dragon eyes opened, reflecting the beautiful and known figure.

It was Alyona.

She came from a prestigious family. After the dark times arrived, her beginnings were disastrous as she was the only one who couldn't level up. Her level was also one of the lowest.

That was precisely the reason why she bowed before the king now, however.

Even in her wildest dreams, Alyona never thought that the player she had once caught would become her kingdom's king!

Reylin arched his head back and looked at the sophisticated red chandelier, "Soon... We will commence an all-out attack on King Julian's family. Should you find them, the hefty and splendid future awaits you, Alyona."

"Yes, Your Majesty," Alyona bowed deeper, her heart beating faster.

Her replica, a woman that Reylin had created through King Julian's system, had connected with her authentic self. It was a connection born out of Reylin's creation's genuine feelings.

Alyona felt those feelings, and her stance toward Reylin significantly changed.

The fact that he became the king also further deepened those feelings. She felt the happiness of being chosen as the knight by him. Her heart idolized the king, and Alyona's former cold expression never ever flashed again.

She was like a different person, and it pleased Reylin.

He chuckled, "I didn't choose you without reason. You will find them, give us a way toward their hideout, and we will clean the rest."

"Your Majesty... My plan is to become one with your creation. Your system has already answered my wish... All I need is to find her, and I will be able to infiltrate their ranks!" Alyona said.

But it was easier said than done.

They needed to find their location and then have the means to teleport here. If Alyona wanted to infiltrate them, she would need to do it covertly.

Reylin's Crown System had tasted the teleportation once. He had imbued his mana in King Julian's teleport, meaning that his system 'knew' the way.

"We will leave it to William," Reylin said.

His brother swore to find a way to move between the continents. He would do it for sure, and Reylin believed in William and his mermaids. That task was in his hands!

At that time, the doors to Reylin's hall opened. A man with silver-black hair stepped in. He was followed by experienced and strong players and also residents.

They all wore prideful expressions.

Their faces promptly shifted into respectful ones as Reylin's eyes landed on them.

Crown Liam smiled, "We are ready to embark on our little adventure."

"I want to see how your skills are now, Eldest Brother," Reylin chuckled and stood up from his throne.

Alyona was also on her two feet and stood straight next to him.

Crown Liam smiled in response.

Reylin flicked his system and called out his personal army.

Led by Emilia, his fire homies appeared one by one in his throne hall.

Their numbers were one of the most unique in the Scarlet Flake Kingdom.

One could see ghosts, humans, residents, players, and even fire monsters from various dungeons and level grounds.

Reylin sneered, "Crimson Dragon."

BOOM!

In a flash, the Crimson Dragon appeared out of his body. That vast dragon tightly held Reylin's throne hall from the outside, its body coiling around the roof with its head raised high!

The appearance of the signature existence brought waves of cheers and elation from all the residents!

They knew that the Crimson Dragon was about to embark on his new mission!

"King Reylin! King Reylin! King Reylin!"

"May his reign last eternally!"

"May his wings wrap the Crown Continent and the whole world!"

And so on.

Many cheers fueled Reylin's forces.

They all climbed the Crimson Dragon while emotions washed through their bodies. It was uncontrollable excitement that prevailed within their hearts!

They all either clenched their hands with anticipation or smiled stupidly as that was the privilege only those at the top could feel!

And the top, they took!

The highest spot naturally belonged to the king.

Standing on his Crimson Dragon's head, Reylin leaned down on one of its horns, then his brother did the same.

They all stared at the sky, "Forward."

A pair of vast wings spread. It blew warm winds throughout the capital, silencing all cheers and bringing out awe.

The Crimson Dragon soon lifted his giant body and flew straight to the sky.

All eyes stared for as long as possible, then citizens returned to their tasks. Players sighed with mixed emotions since they wanted to be part of that epic adventure!

Jealousy prevailed. It changed into a will to work harder and help other players on different continents.

The Crimson Dragon indeed would invade other continents after all!

All clouds made way for Crimson Dragon!

"An irregularity I've found after conquering the whole continent. This is our goal," Reylin said as he stared at the clear sky.

Crown Liam nodded, "Belief alone doesn't produce mana. The Ascended need continents to keep their defenses tight against the Nerven Race. They also won't give up their lands."

Brothers laughed.

The players had been doing a great job in the past by keeping the continents away from dark matter.

However, those very players were the reason for the resident's hearts turning black.

It backfired, actually.

Even if Reylin hadn't appeared in this world, it would've backfired. He broke all total common sense, so the whole plan was naturally foiled. f𝑟e𝒆𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗oѵ𝐞𝗹.c૦𝑚

"You don't siphon off my continent's mana, the ascended," Reylin sneered widely.

His dragon roared in response.

That was when the first obstacle appeared in the clear sky!

BANG!

The Crimson Dragon bumped into an invisible barrier. His tough head still brought a few cracks, which was a good sign.

Reylin tilted his head, "Oh? They dare to resist me in my land?"

Crimson Dragon's eyes flashed with fury and ire.

Its claws lit up in scarlet flames! Those scratched the invisible barrier with all their might, digging deeper into the ascended's hideout!

Countless roars brimmed the sky.

At last, the mighty roar heralding the dominance rang out!

ROOOOOOOOOOAAAAAR!

All cracks flew in all directions, revealing the hidden mana bank.

[You have entered Changnam's Mana Vault.]

"Splendid," Reylin patted his dragon, then sneered widely, "It looks like the Nerven Race doesn't push the ascended enough. What is it?"

[Changnam's Dungeon has absorbed you in.]

"A pitiful attempt to keep us in," Crown Liam replied while sliding his glasses up his nose.
