Chapter 32: Spirit.

Leon didn’t say anything else, he kept his hand under his chin as he got lost in his thoughts.

’The future fights will be a lot easier to win with Draviel helping me out.’

A sudden realization kicked inside of him, his eyes widened slightly as he muttered under his breath. "The grimoire is a lost treasure of Dark Mage Tower, and I have it with me."

He started rubbing his temple slightly, and a small groan escaped through his mouth. "I don’t want to reveal that I own the grimoire before I get to the pinnacle of strength."

He raised his hand and squeezed his hand as he made a fist out of it. The gaze of his fell on Draviel, who was looking at him with his calm, emotionless eyes.

"Go back inside for now. I’ll call you when I need you." Leon said, voice firm.

Draviel just gave a small nod as his body started to disappear, it didn’t take a lot of time for it to fade completely.

The room no longer had the presence of Draviel.

A small sigh escaped through his mouth as he lay back on the bed once again.

He then closed his eyes, took the sheets on himself, and tried to sleep.

The low breeze of wind was entering through the window, making the inside of the room a bit chilly.

Sleep finally caught up to him.

A small figure entered the room through the open windows, its wings shimmering slightly as they fluttered behind it.

Its green body was glowing softly, smooth and vibrant like living jade, and every movement it carried the natural elegance.

It was the fairy that had been following Leon.

It moved slightly closer to Leon, almost a little too close to his face.

"This kid carries a little different smell..." the spirit muttered to itself.

"I’ll find more about him if I enter his core."

It didn’t waste any second and entered the mind core of Leon.

When it reached inside Leon’s mind core. It was too vast, the surroundings were nothing but just endless space.

The ground was made out of blackish coloured liquid.

A small bead of sweat welled up on Spirit’s temple, it gulped as its lips parted slightly. "It’s too... omniscient."

The divine divinity of the spirit was colliding with the dark affinity mana of Leon’s core.

Spirit travelled deeper inside the void, the darkness started to grow more, and the black liquid on the ground started to turn crimson black.

There was a grimoire floating in nowhere, the dark mana waves, which were purple in colour, were flowing out through the grimoire.

The space next to it was a bit cracked, crimson coloured liquid was flowing through the bottom of the grimoire.

"That thing... is that the legendary Dark grimoire?" It muttered under its own breath.

Suddenly, a huge shockwave of mana travelled towards it, and the pure and dark affinities collided with each other.

The spirit flew backwards as it fell into the dark, black liquid. The spirit was completely covered in the dark colour now.

"Yaakkkk..." the spirit gagged and spat out what it had formed inside its mouth.

BLEGHH!!

A chamber inside the grimoire, which had no end to it, its surface had small cracks, and the crimson blood was pulsating through the cracks.

The ceiling was made out of black marble, and it had the engravings of crimson blood. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

In the centre of the chamber stood a huge throne, which was forged through the obsidian and black metal. The air around the throne felt heavy and sickening, as if the gravity itself bowed in its presence.

Behind the throne, there were two huge wings which were attached to it, and on the throne was sitting Draviel Ignivar.

Draviel was looking at something, his emotionless eyes were staring at something endlessly.

His hand was resting under his chin, which was giving support to his skull.

"We have a small, cute intruder in here?" He said, voice deep.

The spirit which was next to the grimoire felt a sudden chill run down its spine. The sweat started to form even more, rolled down its cheek as it fell down on the black liquid.

When the sweat touched the liquid, it disappeared instantly as if it never existed there in the first place.

The sudden pressure which was inflicted by the gaze of Draviel left a huge toll on the spirit.

The heart has started to beat tens of times faster than before. ’Am I... am I going to die? What’s this sudden pressure which I’m feeling.... It-it’s as if I’m under the presence of his majesty spirit king.’

A faint voice fell into the ears of the spirit, it felt that someone was calling out to him, someone who was one of its own.

Its head moved towards the direction from which the voice had just come.

The gaze of the spirit fell on a warm, bright ray of energy which was just a foot away from it.

’This... this feels like I’m back inside of the mother tree.’

That energy felt so calm and refreshing to it, that it wanted to get a hold of it.

The energy suddenly entered the body of the spirit, its eyes started to turn white, and it didn’t take even a second to turn completely white.

It started moving in the direction without even thinking for another second.

When it reached the place from where the voice came from, the eyeballs of the spirit returned to normal.

It finally got control of its body, and the thing which it saw, shook the soul of it.

A huge pond of divine mana was in front of its eyes. Black water was next to it, but the pond was not affected by the black water at all.

The energy which was radiated through the pond of divine mana was the divinity of the mother tree.
