I Picked the Useless Class… Turns Out It's the Most Broken in the Game-Chapter 76: Past
"AHHHH!! Don’t hit me, please." A girl said, sobbing was mixed into her voice.
A loud SMACK echoed through the air. The blow landed squarely on her arm, leaving a huge mark behind.
"We gave you allthe required resources, and yet you failed to pass the fifth circle?"
"You’re the disgrace of our family, Synthia."
"Even the worst mage from our family had hit the 6th circle at most." A man shouted, hatred was buried inside his tone.
Synthia remained on the ground, skin covered with a bunch of hit marks. She kept sobbing, her head buried inside her knees.
"I’m sorry... I’m so sorry... please don’t hit me anymore." She said, voice low, but the pain was clearly audible in it.
Someone grabbed her hair from behind, shook her head, and smacked her cheeks.
"How could you try to talk in front of your father, you fool?" A woman said.
"I’m sorry... I’m so sorry." She said, and kept sobbing.
"Thinking about a sad memory, girl?" The undead said.
Synthia finally opened her eyes, and tears were welling up inside them. "I-I’m crying!?" She muttered, clearly shocked.
Her hand lifted, rubbing her eye as she noticed the tears. A scream tore from her mouth, fingers clenching into a fist.
"How can I cry about something like that again!!"
"I’m not a disgrace!! I’m not a useless mage!!" she kept screaming.
And soon after, something inside her snapped. Her consciousness faded away, and she collapsed to the ground with a loud THUD as her body hit the floor.
Dark mana completely covered her body, circling her form.
The undead’s eyes widened. "W-what?"
Synthia remained lying inside the circle, completely unconscious.
A voice kept ringing inside her head.
"You’re a disgrace. You’re a disgrace. The worst in our family."
Hatred enveloped her body, and the moment she clenched her fist, that hatred surged inward, flowing straight into her core.
Her dark mana started to surge violently.
And soon after, one of the glowing circles cracked, its edges distorted, and then it expanded into something new, reshaping itself.
The five circles had now turned into six.
The circle of mana surrounding her disappeared as her eyes opened.
Her body lifted up into the air, and dark mana appeared next to her palms.
She stood still in the air, looking at the undead.
"You have advanced... how? How can someone do it like that?" The undead said, a bead of sweat appeared across its temple.
No reply came from Synthia, just a lifeless gaze that she gave.
The undead gritted its teeth and thrust both hands toward Synthia as mana surged around them.
The mana slowly took on a blue color, condensing as water began to form.
It poured from its palms, flooding the ground as the rising water surged toward Synthia.
In an instant, it shaped itself into a water spear, aimed to cut her in half.
But before it could make an impact on her, she moved.
She dodged the spear cleanly and raised her right arm in the air.
Her dark mana escalated through her palm, piling up in a single place.
A dark cloud appeared on top of her head, and soon after, it started to take the shape of multiple shadow spears.
The spears looked huge, and their blades were completely sharp.
She didn’t waste any time; she directed her hand forward.
The spears followed her command and shot forward instantly toward the undead.
The undead tried to dodge, but their speed was far beyond what it could fathom.
The spears struck cleanly, piercing straight through its body.
Some passed entirely through, while others remained embedded, jutting from its form.
The undead’s blood shot out through its mouth, as a loud, painful groan escaped. "UGHH!!!"
"You useless human girl... how could you do that to me!!"
Without saying anything, Synthia made her way towards it.
Grabbed the undead’s chin with her hand. "You’re not that important, so die already." She said, looking down at the undead.
Another spear appeared in the air, and she directed her hand in a horizontal swing.
The spear moved in the same direction, beheading the undead cleanly.
Synthia’s body wobbled after killing the undead, and she collapsed to the ground with a loud THUD.
She fell unconscious.
The man controlling the undead dashed towards Darian, his daggers remaining in his grasp. "You’ll regret poking me." He said.
Darian didn’t say anything; he just remained standing there.
The moment his daggers were about to make contact with Darian’s body, he lifted his leg and drove a kick into the man’s ribs.
Which made him go flying across the room, crashed into the wall as he fell with a loud THUD.
He stood back, cracked his neck as he looked at Darian. "You’re not an easy foe, eh?"
His dark red aura started to flow through his body, wrapped around his body and the daggers.
"Then I’ll show you why I’m an Advanced Swordmaster."
{INFO: Swordmaster path has four tiers... Initial -> Established -> Advanced -> Peak}
He dashed forward, twisted his daggers as his speed increased.
"I’m not going to hold back anymore." He said.
His speed increased severalfold as he leaped across the entire room.
He bounced from one wall to another, using them to gain even more speed and move with greater stealth.
He lunged toward Darian, who stood casually in the middle of the room.
"[Twin Reversal]" He muttered under his breath, grip slightly tightened.
He lunged in with one dagger, aimed a little high, as he twisted his torso.
The second dagger of his drove from below, targeting the ribs of Darian.
While the first blade reversed its direction, trying to cut across the neck of his.
But Darian moved before the blade could even graze past him, he shifted his neck.
And then lifted his sword and smacked it right into the gut of that man, which sent him flying across the room once again.
The man was about to lose his consciousness, but he pushed himself back up.
