I reincarnated as an elf .......and married the yandere villainess.-Chapter 13:Training
The sounds of clashing weapons and shouting commands reached Atheline before he could even step into the training ground
While he preferred to train alone most of the time, training with his father’s soldiers once in a while and getting their insights was one of the things he liked to do.
The moment he stepped into the large training ground, the elf warriors stopped what they were doing and bowed to him.
Atheline smiled and waved them off.
"Don’t stop your training. "
Listening to his command they all went back to their training except one elf.
He was tall, with long braided silver hair and brown eyes that seemed to tell a story.
That was Salvior Almond, his father’s third general. He was responsible for training and protecting the capital. An S-class Fire manipulator with the ability to fight a knight of any rank.
"Young lord, are you here for your training?" He asked Atheline the moment he got close to him.
"Yes, I’ve been craving a fight."
Salvior laughed and patted him on his back.
’Thats hard’
He turned to face the fighting soldiers.
"How many do you want this time?"
Atheline was quiet for a moment before speaking," Six should be enough, it’s just a friendly fight."
"Good, good, and do not traumatise them too much young lord."
Atheline chuckled inwardly and nodded. He needed to maintain his noble aura while in front of people.
"I won’t, that’s a promise. A few bruises should be enough."
Salvior nodded.
"I need six people right now!"
His shout was answered almost immediately. Six warriors stepped forward faster than the rest.
Who wouldn’t want to fight with the young lord? While they did get out a little injured during the training, fighting with the Atheline brought more benefits.
Who doesn’t want free compensation and to get on his good side?
The moment Atheline had walked into the training ground, most of the soldiers had already turned their attention to his conversation each waiting for an opportunity.
Atheline moved to the centre of the training ground while the other soldiers moved aside creating space for him.
The six warriors each stronger than the other surrounded him as they waited for his signal.
"Master."
Luther stepped forward and passed him his long bow. It was white, with different curvings made from the world tree while the strings were made from dragon tendons his father had somehow managed to get.
Atheline positioned his bow.
The warriors around got tense, each of them holding a training spear or a sword.
Their eyes were sharp as they looked on at Atheline’s almost harmless appearance, but no one dared to underestimate him.
Atheline drew his bow, the arrows floating behind him in the air, thanks to his wind manipulation.
One of them, a tall man with light purple hair, spoke cautiously.
"Young lord....are you sure?"
Atheline’s expression remained calm. He understood their cautiousness, he had never fought more than three warriors at once, and now he suddenly decided to double.
The warriors themselves were strong each of them was an elite-level warrior while one was an A-class Aether user.
"You don’t have to be cautious... come at me together."
The warriors exchanged glances with each other but the caption, Salvior, shouted to them at the sidelines.
"Move you, imbeciles."
They rushed towards him all at once, each putting their all into their attacks.
Two came from the front wielding spears that were pointed at him, another circled behind him blocking his retreat, while the others spread out to block his escape route.
Atheline didn’t panic, his eyes moved around marking their trajectory and predicting their movements.
Atheline pulled his string back in that millisecond and simply released his arrow.
THWIP!
The arrow shot forward silently then curved in the air after the first warrior thought he had evaded it.
The first warrior’s spear was knocked to the side as the arrowhead cut through the spearhead breaking it in half. The arrow lodged into the ground a few steps away creating a small crater.
Atheline didn’t give the other warrior a chance, he shot another arrow concurrently before the other arrow left the bow.
THWIP!
A gust of wind shot out together with the arrow that was aimed directly at his eye.
At the last moment, it curved upwards but the gust of wind hit him on the chest sending him reeling backwards by its force, stumbling across the training ground.
"Too slow," Atheline said quietly.
The remaining warriors leaped forward each aiming for a vital organ to weaken him.
One of the warriors aimed for the hand that was holding the bow aiming to destabilize him.
The Aether manipulator, shot a ball of fire towards the arrows on his back clearly trying to remove his supplies.
Atheline stepped slightly to the side, his arrows moving with him.
The air froze for just a second.
A current of wind knocked the attacking warriors off balance and snuffed out the burning fire.
In that confusion, he aimed an arrow and fired two this time without looking.
THWIP!
The arrows struck down in front of the two advancing warriors sending a whirlwind directly to them blocking g their vision.
Leaves, dust, and loose soil blasted upwards at the warriors who were forced to cover their eyes and step backwards as the silt entered their eyes and lungs.
Atheline’s gaze turned to the Aether controller who had ten fireballs floating behind him.
"Bring it on."
A large whirlwind was sent to him meeting the fireballs in the middle.
The training ground was fully shrouded and whatever was on the ground was pulled into the whirlwind.
The warriors stepped back each covering their eyes.
By the time the wind died down, all six warriors had an arrow aimed at their necks. Sweat dripped down their brows at the thought of it being a real battlefield.
The clearing went silent.
Atheline lowered his bow.
"You’re relying too much on speed," Atheline said while handing Luther his bow," against a wind user, I can feel your movements clearly."
One of the warriors, the purple-haired one, shook his head and laughed.
"Young lord... fighting you feels like fighting air itself."
A breeze decided to pass at that moment ruffling his braided white hair.
"The wind is everywhere and faster than all of you."
The group looked at each other, based on the results. Next time the number will be more than six because none of them had even come close to touching him.
