After picking a name for our baby, Vera and I returned to the living room together. She cradled Rona carefully in her arms, her movements slow and protective, as if the world itself might shatter if she moved too quickly.

I cleared my throat, drawing everyone's attention.

"We've decided on a name," I said, my voice steady. "Her name is Rona."

For a brief second, the room was silent, then loud applause erupted.

Claps echoed against the walls, smiles spread across everyone's faces, and a few of my women even let out soft cheers. Vera smiled brightly, her eyes shimmering with relief and happiness. Jill clapped the loudest, while Aurora clasped her hands together as if she'd been waiting for this moment.

"Rona…" Jill repeated softly. "It suits her."

"I love it," Aurora added.

As the noise settled, I noticed subtle glances thrown my way. Kira lingered longer than usual, her gaze thoughtful. Aurora looked like she wanted to say something but held herself back. She probably filed it away for later.

While the atmosphere remained warm, Rona suddenly began to cry.

It started as a small whimper, then quickly grew louder. Instantly, everyone moved toward her, concern replacing celebration. Jill took the lead without hesitation.

"She needs a bath," Jill said gently. "She's uncomfortable."

Vera nodded and carefully handed Rona to her. Jill cradled her with practiced ease.

"I'll prepare the water," Aurora said.

"I'll bring the baby bed," another added.

Jill smiled at me. "We'll take her to one of the rooms."

As Jill began walking away with Rona, the others followed, carrying supplies, towels, and the small baby bed. The room gradually emptied, their voices fading as they moved down the hall.

"…It's okay, Rona…"

"Careful with her head…"

"Don't let the water get too hot…"

The living room grew quiet.

That's when I noticed Zamira.

She had intentionally stayed behind.

She stood near the doorway for a moment, then turned and walked toward me. Her steps were unhurried, deliberate. She stopped just in front of me and lightly nudged my arm with her shoulder.

"You look confused," she said, smiling faintly.

I exhaled. "I guess I am."

She tilted her head. "Why?"

I leaned back against the couch, rubbing the back of my neck. "It's the first time I've actually been here when one of my women gave birth. Being present… it feels strange."

Zamira listened quietly.

"I'm happy," I continued. "Really happy. But at the same time, I feel guilty. I wasn't there when Xander was born. I missed it."

Zamira shook her head gently. "That wasn't your fault."

"I know that logically," I said. "But still…"

She smiled softly. "Didn't you say Zella was relocating here with Xander?"

"Yes," I replied. "They should be relocating this week."

"Then focus on that," she said. "You can't change the past, but you can be present now."

Before I could respond, Zamira suddenly stepped closer. A bit too close.

She reached out and clutched my shirt lightly, her fingers curling into the fabric. Her eyes locked onto mine, turning red-dark and heated.

"You really turned me on earlier," she muttered.

I chuckled quietly. "We can't do anything here."

"I know," she replied, her lips curving into a knowing smile. "That's fine."

Her expression shifted slightly, still seductive, but more serious.

"But you should consider moving everyone to the vampire planet," she said. "It's important."

She paused, then repeated more firmly, "Very important."

Before I could question her further, she released my shirt, turned around, and walked away to join the others in the room where Rona was being bathed.

I stood there for a moment, staring at the empty doorway.

"…Important, huh," I muttered.

Sighing, I made my way to the balcony attached to the living room.

The doors slid open, letting cool air brush against my face. From here, the grand cities of the ultra-rich stretched endlessly, towering structures, glowing lights, controlled perfection. It was a beautiful view.

I pulled out a cigarette, lit it, and took a slow drag.

Zamira's words echoed in my head.

She was right.

It was time I took this seriously. Keeping everyone on Earth was becoming more dangerous by the day. Being monitored, watched, analyzed, it wasn't paranoia anymore. It was reality.

Just like that incident while I was away.

A worker here was exposed as a spy. A vampire spy, working for the humans. It showed how low humans could stoop when fear and power were involved.

I exhaled smoke slowly.

Relocating everyone to the vampire planet wasn't just safer. It was inevitable.

While I was lost in thought, footsteps approached behind me.

"You seem lost," Kira said softly. 𝕗𝗿𝕖𝐞𝐰𝗲𝕓𝐧𝕠𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝐨𝚖

I glanced over my shoulder. She stood beside me, her arms folded loosely, her expression calm but concerned. "What are you thinking about?"

"Just… planning," I replied.

She leaned against the railing next to me. "About what?"

"Relocating everyone to the vampire planet."

She nodded slowly. "I thought so."

"You did?"

"Yes," she said. "Everyone's been complaining. Quietly, but consistently. They don't feel safe anymore."

I frowned. "Is it hat bad?"

"Most of us are pregnant," Kira continued. "Or already have children. That changes things. We're not just thinking about ourselves anymore."

I took another drag. "I'll work on it as soon as possible."

"I know you will," she said. "But you really need to listen to your wives more. We're scared, even if we don't always say it out loud."

I nodded. "You're right."

I turned toward her. "But you look worried too. What did you want to talk to me about?"

Kira blinked, slightly surprised.

"Well…" she hesitated, then looked away briefly. "It's just… something I've been thinking about."

Author's Note:

I know I've offended a lot of readers and fans, and I haven't even been able to put out peak chapters lately. Some people have complained about inconsistencies in the plot and other issues. I want to sincerely apologize to everyone. It's not entirely my fault, though. It just sucks that these days, we barely get any visibility on Webnovel at all.

I also have an alt account, and the same thing happened there too. Because of that, this year I've decided to stop relying on these platforms. I've started writing fanfictions, and I'll soon be writing original stories that won't be contracted. The fanfictions are posted on my alt account.
