I Somehow Became The Almighty Creator, l can create anything: Be Ware-Chapter 103
"Ah, you wish much, he would die first before he leaves the bottle, now. You know it." She chuckled as she went to the kitchen. Leaving Watts on the coach.
It seemed she was watching basket ball, it was her favorite game, and most of the times when Pistil and Watts wanted to watch there football late in the night, she would chase them out if they so much made noise.
Like literally kick them out of the house.
She really was a one in a million woman. In fact, now that Watts thinks of it, all the women... most women he knew were quite weird.
Like you wouldn’t wish to see them angry or you would regret it.
His aunt, Eve Chloe’s mother, Petra, his sister too. He seemed to have a magnet for weird women, not to mention the ghost, Evelyn.
"What can I get you?" she shouted from the kitchen.
"Don’t worry about me really, am good." He replied back.
"Nah ah, we both know that ain’t happening." She said back.
"Ok, some water is fine," he said with a smile.
Yeah, now one of the principles in this home if Petra was here, no visitor comes in and goes back without taking something.
She grew up from a Christian family, so she would say, "You ain’t taking those blessings back, are you?" so according to her, a visitor taking something in her home was a blessing.
A minute later, she came back with a glass of juice and placed it on the table, and then plopped down on the other side of the coach too.
"And you better not refuse." She said looking at Watts with narrowed eyes.
Watts could only sigh in exasperation and take the juice or it would be a disaster.
After taking a sip, "So where is Pistil at?" he asked.
"Oh, he said he has a client," she simply said.
Client means he got someone to fight in the arena, that’s how he earned his money. And yes, Petra knew of it, he also knew I fight in the arena.
While she, she worked at a private clinic as a nurse.
She wasn’t really happy with Pistil’s job, she had talked to him to look for a better job, but the man seemed adamant.
Plus, he always brought the injured participants of the arena to the clinic she worked at, so he saw it as a bonus, for some reason.
And it was one of the reasons Watts wanted to meet Pistil, the dude had a bachelors in software engineering, it’s just that he didn’t have luck in landing a job in his early years.
But considering who Watts was, getting his friend a really good job wasn’t that hard really.
Anyway so he knew Pistil wouldn’t be coming back anytime soon, so he proposed watching a movie.
And just like that, Watts spent the whole morning and part after noon watching movies, jazzing with Petra and having resting time that he seemed to have lost these past days.
And for just a few minutes, he forgot about all his worries and focused on the now.
At 2pm, Pistil came home, he had a few gifts in hand, which Watts regretted seeing through, but it had become subconscious by now.
But at least what he saw made him understand that his friend seemed to have a lively bed time with his fiancé.
Pistil was happy to see Watts and greeted him with a hug. It had been sometime since they last met.
At this very moment, Layla called him asking where he was, and he told her.
"We are coming," was all she said and then hung up.
Watts smiled as he could see the day was turning out just fine. Petra who had heard Watts’ call, decided that they would be having a feast.
At this, Watts decided to go out and buy the food considering they were about to have four more people. So he went out.
Fact is, he was happy right now, being able to sit down with friends and family, without any worry clawing at is mind constantly.
The only problem was the consistent trauma of all the families he destroyed in the galaxy he visited, and his biggest dread was, what if it had happened to this galaxy.
What if he had accidentally killed his family, his friends. Could he bear to live with that guilt the rest of his life.
But enough about the bad thoughts, its now time for a feast, he had to buy a few supplies putting even Nova in the equation.
And he knew just the place to go.
So he rode on, a bit faster than he should, like he couldn’t wait to get there. And in a few minutes was inside a luxurious supermarket.
Slowly perusing through the items he needed and putting in his trolley.
"Watts?" came a voice from behind that brought a smile on his face.
"Oh Lisa. What a coincidence." He said as he turned around with a smile.
"Hmhmm! Coincidence indeed." She chuckled a bit at his excuse.
And then they just stood there in silence, looking at each other and trying not to feel embarrassed. I mean Watts had had a lot of women and he had never failed to get words.
Words usually slipped out of his mouth naturally, but with this woman, it was a different story.
"So, how have you been?" he broke the silence.
"I’ve been fine," she replied slowly looking away, "Something you would know if you had called." She continued in a low voice.
The moment the words left he mouth, she regretted it, why the hell would she say something like that? Now she must have come off as desperate.
"Come on, I already apologized for that, I was in the middle of something." Watts pleaded.
"It’s no problem really, I know people can be busy." She replied.
Watts seeing as this conversation wasn’t going anywhere, decided to change tactics.
"So how about lunch with my family?" he proposed.
Lisa tilted her head in surprise, raising an eyebrow at his question, "You’re serious?"
