Chapter 515 - 515 Invincible: Omni-Man's Last Wish, John(Allen) the Alien and the Coalition, Darkwing - The Killer of Criminals and A Terrifying Creature in the Shadow Verse.
(Elsewhere in the galaxy)
Space was something vast for most species, something unknown, terrifying, and immense, but there was one race that treated this vast space as their backyard. They were the feared Viltrumites, a race that reached the pinnacle of development as a species, achieving a balance between power and intelligence. Although they are now few in number, each of these Viltrumites is a threat to any world. However, at this moment, there was one traveling aimlessly through space.
He was a man with gray hair, black hair, and a worn-out red and white suit. His beard had grown, his hair was messy, and his eyes were empty.
This man was once considered an unbeatable superhero, a loving father, and a devoted husband. At the same time, he had another identity as an elite warrior of his race, a man who would give everything for his people. But all of that ended, and now he was none of those things. He lost both identities and both places to return to.
Nolan was lost, aimless, with only memories in his mind. Memories of being an incomplete Omni-Man. Memories of spitting in his wife's face calling her pet, memories of beating his son until his bones broke. Memories of turning his back on his race because instead of returning to the Viltrum Empire, he chose not to, abandoning his mission. Because otherwise, he would have to attack that planet, which had been his second home for two decades, and, most of all, his son. But not only because of that, Nolan committed an unforgivable sin and had no face to see his people again.
"..." Nolan gazed at a black hole, the impulse to throw himself into it and end his life creeping in.
Nolan's sin was compassion. With each passing decade, year, day... every second more on Earth, his heart slowly began to waver... He tried to deny it, tried to kill that feeling, but it didn't disappear. It was simply too comfortable to live on Earth. In their society, in a world where people didn't kill each other to see who was the strongest, where there was no culture of violence above all...
Nolan watched the hole with a calm and peaceful gaze because the greatest sin was, despite failing in his mission, not regretting it but feeling relief. This made Nolan realize that, in the end, he couldn't decide.
– "I always hated that about you, Nolan..."
The words and disdain of the man who defeated him still echoed in his head. If he's a villain, then let him be one until the end, like Omni-Man from Universe 2. If he doesn't want to be, then act accordingly. This attitude of taking on the role of a villain but never fully embracing it was what kept Nolan from returning to Viltrum...
He was no longer a Viltrumite...
Nolan had nowhere to return to; by being unable to choose, he lost both homes...
Just as he was about to fall, he stopped, sighed, and turned around. He needed to send a message to his people and a warning. It would be the last thing he did as a Viltrumite. He had to inform his people about the existence of someone who could match, if not surpass, most Viltrumites effortlessly.
"They must not face Allen Walker..."
...
One might wonder, whether in the original story or this one, why the Viltrumites don't send a dozen of them to conquer Earth if it's so important. That alone should be enough, and if they leave many worlds unattended, they simply wait for a few decades until the new Viltrumites grow and reconquer them.
This question is complicated, but the main answer is so absurd that it might even be funny: "to pretend." As simple as it sounds, the Viltrumites are the most terrifying empire that has caused countless tragedies in the universe. The number of worlds subjugated and enslaved by the Viltrumites is enormous. All of them harbor a grudge against the Viltrumites. That's why the rumor that there are only fifty left would be their greatest disaster.

The Viltrumites consider Earth invaluable, yet at the same time, they have an empire that needs them everywhere.
They don't need to be on every planet all the time, but they visit each conquered world every few years. For that reason alone, they don't send a dozen Viltrumites to Earth.
It's almost laughable, but it's a reality. That secret that he cannot reveal, that Achilles heel that no one can know, that weakness cannot be heard by anyone, especially the coalition. That unexpected information was something Allen gave to John(Allen), the Alien.
If there was anyone in the universe to safely carry that information it was John(Allen) The Alien.
"Haha, after two thousand years, I finally found hope!"
He is an Unopan, a humanoid with a muscular build and orange skin. He is characterized by his tiny pointed ears and a large, prominent eye on his face, resembling a cyclops. His face is square, and he has a prominent chin. He has three fingers on each hand and only three thick toes on each foot. His personality is very friendly and approachable, lacking common sense despite being two thousand years old, but he has a strong and mostly just heart.
John, formerly called Allen, flew through space with a smile. Being one of the few beings outside the Viltrumites capable of traveling through space without a spaceship was something that always improved his mood.
This alien's story is one of many similar ones. He belongs to a race called Unopans. His world, Unopa, was filled with peace, having ended all wars and finding a balance between technology and nature. Unopa was at the height of a golden age for their world... however, they were attacked and conquered in a matter of days. Though they didn't surrender, and decades later, they prepared a counterattack, they didn't fully understand how powerful the Viltrumites were. As a result, the resistance was annihilated by two Viltrumites, and the Unopans were massacred.
Some made the difficult decision to escape their home and seek an opportunity in the stars. They created breeding camps for their species, which, contrary to what some in the Chat believe, were not large orgies. Instead, they were incubation centers where more Unopans were brought to life without using the natural method. This was the complete opposite of a large orgy. Of course, it wasn't just for that; they also served as places to experiment with genetic enhancements, trying to create the most powerful champion of all.
The Unopans never forgot their true goal: vengeance. This is the fuel for many races in the universe that hate the Viltrumites, and humanity was on the brink of joining them.
This willpower caught the attention of the coalition of planets under the leadership of Thaedus. Marvin, the representative of Unopa, was the one who agreed to join the coalition, feeling that they weren't the only ones opposed to the Viltrumites and their campaign of massive conquest.
Marvin, showing his goodwill, revealed the existence of their project to create the strongest warrior. With time, after many failed attempts, John (Allen) was born. From birth, he was powerful. Even before adulthood, there was no one at his level. John (Allen) was born to be the strongest, or at least that's what everyone believed.
But when he received his first mission, he was hit with a reality check. The greatest warrior they had created was not capable of matching even the weakest Viltrumite. That's how powerful they were because just one of them was too much. The program was considered a failure. John was made an official evaluator, and his mission was to travel the universe under the pretense of recruiting more planets for the coalition. But the real objective was to find someone he couldn't defeat, an ally against the Viltrumites.
He found Omni-Man, but soon learned he was a Viltrumite, so he was discarded. However, it caught the attention of the entire coalition that a Viltrumite did not conquer a planet; on the contrary, he pretended to be its champion.
The second time he went to Earth, by "accident," he encountered a local, a human with terrifying strength. This time was different from the original story, as it was Allen who appeared before John (Allen) and left him on the brink of death with just one punch.
This was reported to Thaedus, and upon medical studies, they realized that the person who struck John (Allen) used just the right amount of force to avoid killing him, which allowed him to become much stronger after recovering. Thaedus ordered John to return to Earth to warn Allen that Omni-Man was a villain, as it was likely he didn't know that.
Unexpectedly, it wasn't necessary, because Allen had already defeated him...
...
(Talescria, Virgo Supercluster)
John entered a large room with a high podium at the head, Thaedus. This was the Coalition Headquarters, and today, John brought very good news in his report.
"Welcome, Allen of Unopa," Thaedus said calmly, his gaze steady.
"Eh... for now, call me John."
"Officer, show more respect to Thaedus!"
One of the main members of the coalition couldn't help but scold Allen for being so rude. However, the old man, with features very similar to a human or a Viltrumite, smiled.
"Sorry, it was my fault for forgetting that detail..."
Thaedus already knew about Allen and his feats. On this day, they would present their discoveries to the rest of the coalition. But he preferred to do so from an observer's position, allowing John to have the honor. It must be taken into account that John alone had already been alive for two thousand years, and for millennia, the coalition had only had defeats against the Viltrumite empire; these people were desperate. However, in recent years, the Viltrumite empire had stopped expanding and reduced its presence, allowing the Coalition to grow.
"Council members, people, I have great news. After searching the universe for champions to help us in our fight, I arrived on Earth. The first time, I encountered Omni-Man", John's words resonated throughout the room, silencing everyone.
"Omni-Man is the Viltrumite who pretended to be a superhero. Unfortunately, trying to warn humanity that they were the dominant civilization on that planet would only lead to their destruction."
Knowing the truth would antagonize Omni-Man. There was a great possibility that, since Nolan could no longer use a more discreet method, he would attempt to conquer them outright.
"But the second time, I was met by a human... I was defeated by that human..."
"Huh?!"
"That's impossible!"
As expected, the coalition made efforts to understand what was so special about humanity that a Viltrumite, one of the strongest, would seemingly choose to do something like infiltrate. But soon, they realized that apart from the terrifying resemblance between both species, there was nothing that would catch a Viltrumite's attention.
John(Allen) smiled. "His name is Allen Walker, the human champion, and I'm unable to fight him..."
"That's promising... however, how would we recruit Earth with Nolan in the middle? If he's there, it's because Viltrum already considers Earth their property..." said a leonine next to Thaedus.
He was Mokk, a member of the Coalition of Planets, belonging to the same race as Battle Beast, his appearance resembling a white lion or a feline.
The Emperor of Gelderia, an alien with green skin and wearing a cloak-like garment that covers him, appeared thoughtful before speaking.
"Perhaps we can recruit him in secret..."
"That's not necessary, Coalition members," John smiled, "Allen from Earth has already defeated the Viltrumite known as Nolan."
"Don't lie Allen!"
"It can't be true!!"
"We're not talking about just any Viltrumite, but the great Nolan!"
"It's not a lie!" John (Allen) set aside his casual attitude and became serious. "For millennia, we've been searching for a chance to win, a promise, hope!"
Everyone in the room fell silent. They were emperors, representatives, and leaders of their worlds, but all were powerless against the Viltrumites. Just moments ago, they had been discussing how another race had abandoned them and how many of their allies had fled. This was due to the Viltrumites, who, although they had scaled back their activities, still visited other worlds to show them who was in charge.
"So many years just losing! So many allies lost! So much frustration! But now I bring you hope!" John took a breath and calmed down. "Today, I have two important announcements. One is the discovery that someone is capable of defeating Viltrumites, and even more incredible... in this universe, there are only fifty Viltrumites left; all the others are dead!"
...
(Midnight City)
Allen flew through the skies over what was obviously not Gotham City.
"This place is gloomy..."
Barbara – Wait... this dark and eerie atmosphere...
Harleen – That feeling that someone is going to come out of an alley and stab you...
Ivy – The fear in the air...
Nightwing (Robin) – That feeling like you're always being watched...
Batman – It's Gotham.
"Don't say it directly, Batman haha..." Allen smiled playfully, "Well, the name of this city is Midnight City... I won't say anything, but that's where Darkwing used to work..."
Harley – Hahaha, I understand there are parallel universes with many Gotham Cities, but the fact that they try so hard to make it not obvious that this is a version of Gotham is just funny hahaha.
Batman – What are you looking for here?
"Cecil called me and I remembered that someone had not shown up..."
Batman – ???
"I came to capture Robin..." Allen smiled and accelerated his flight.
...
A thug was cornered at the top of a building, looking in terror at the figure darkened by the night.
"You should be dead! Omni-Man killed you!"
"I returned from death for people like you..."
"Ahh!"
The gangster screamed at the sight of someone who should be dead. In front of the bully was a superhero with murderous eyes. It was a tall African-American man with a robust and powerful physique. His costume had a black mask. The suit was colored in dark tones, with light gray on the chest and thighs, and the rest of the suit was black. His suit also featured a dark bluish sharp cape and a pointed hood behind his head.
The thug couldn't believe it. This city had become a crime paradise ever since Darkwing died, but there he was—the terror of criminals, clearly not inspired by Batman. But there he was again, Darkwing, ready to dispense justice. However, his gaze showed bloodshot eyes, as if his mind were teetering between madness and clarity.
"Ah!" Darkwing grabbed his own head, "Shut up!"
"Holy shit, are you crazy?!" The thug shuddered and realized he could be killed by this crazy person. Just as he tried to run, he slammed into a brick wall.
"Watch out..."
The thug froze, realizing it wasn't a wall but a person. When he looked up, the thug turned even paler, then blue.
"Y-y-you!"
Darkwing looked at Allen after regaining some clarity and took a step back, but he did not give up and pointed to the gangster. "He's mine..."
Allen shrugged, "Hey buddy, love is free; I have a harem, I'm not here to judge your love..."
"Huh?" Darkwing was stunned for a moment, then became annoyed. "Walker, don't interfere. This is my city!"
"I'm not here for your criminals, I'm here for you, Darkwing two..."
"...!" Feeling terror, Darkwing used his powers to create a portal to the Shadow-Verse, a dark world that is a separate dimension, similar to Obito from Naruto. Darkwing uses it to move as if teleporting.
Darkwing might have an unstable mental state right now, but that doesn't mean he's stupid enough to want to fight Allen. Darkwing disappeared from the world and arrived in a completely dark dimension where the shrieks and cries of creatures from the abyss echoed.
"I have to get out quickly, this place is dangerous even for me..."
"Really?"
"Ah!"
Darkwing was startled when he found Allen so close to him. However, Allen looked in all directions, paying little attention to him. Cecil had sent him to investigate the new Darkwing, but obviously, Allen already knew who he was. He was the former Robin of Darkwing in this world before being called Nightboy.
Allen held Darkwing by the neck, he struggled but even with the enhanced skeleton created by his predecessor making him very strong, he was powerless.
"Let me go!" Darkwing shouted as he noticed that his powers had stopped working as if suppressed by something. "We can't stay here!"
He is Benjamin Taylor, having grown up in the harsh streets of Midnight City. Darkwing II has proven to be paranoid and almost incapable of trusting anyone except those who prove their worth to him, like his predecessor. However, unlike his predecessor, he was more than willing to kill anyone he perceived as a criminal or enemy. This routine led him to become almost psychotic with delusions of grandeur, as he even began to see himself as a hero despite the atrocities he committed. Yet, despite all his amorality and willingness to cross moral lines, he would shrink before death, as shown to Allen and now at the idea of staying in this dimension too long.
Allen smiled, showing amusement at the situation. "Oh, for someone who kills criminals, you seem pretty scared of death..."
"You don't understand, there are monsters born from the abyss here. This dimension is like hell, but instead of demons, there are creatures so terrifying that if they came out, they would destroy the world! Please, let me go!"
The shrieks and cries of monsters slowly drew nearer. Darkwing was so scared that he covered his head...
"I won't lie, I was curious to see this place... but it is... disappointing..."
Allen's eyes glowed red, but it wasn't the red from his demonic powers—it was the intense red of his worst enemy.
The shrieks ceased. The deadly cries stopped. Every single creature in the Shadow-Verse lowered its head simultaneously as if it had felt fear for the first time. Inside Allen, there was something so dark and terrifying that it turned this dimension into a playground. A sinister smile spread across Allen's face as a dark aura emerged from him. Not a single creature dared to move for fear of being devoured—or worse...
Hahaha...
Someone laughed faintly... like in an illusion... like an event brought from the past... someone who should already be dead laughed...
"...!"
[Allen!]
Artoria – Allen, get out of here!
Allen snapped back to his senses and exited the Shadow-Verse, a little paler. He released Darkwing.
"Damn..." Allen held his face. 2B and Wednesday appeared to support him.
"Master!"
"Allen?!"
"I'm fine..."
Makima frowned, "Don't tell me he came back..."
He...
"No, it was just a memory..."
Allen recovered quickly, leaving that feeling behind.
