I Took A Succubus's First Time-Chapter 278: I’ll come back home
Chapter 278: I’ll come back home
Everyone’s senses sharpened in an instant.
Every muscle in their bodies tensed.
Their instincts screamed in unison as their eyes locked onto the source of the voice.
"Masayoshi!!!"
Nagisa’s voice ripped through the air like a thunderclap.
She didn’t hesitate.
The second she saw who it was, her emotions exploded—rage overtook logic.
It was him.
Masayoshi.
The man who had killed Kouhei.
And now, he stood there casually, without a care in the world, as if his actions meant nothing—as if what he did held no weight.
Just seeing his face... it was like a spark thrown into gasoline.
She moved in, fists clenched, anger flaring in her eyes.
But before she could strike—
"Oops. I can’t allow you to do that," said a woman’s voice, smooth and mocking.
She stepped out from a swirling black portal, her figure framed by writhing energy.
Without a single sign of effort, she caught Nagisa’s incoming punch in her palm.
"Oh, it’s you, Nagisa-chan!" she said with a mocking grin. "Still looking as weak as ever. Are you really sure that piece of weakling trash you call the Child of Anti-Prophecy is making you stronger?"
Her voice was sweet—too sweet—but underneath it was venom.
Her skin was a deep, striking crimson, radiating heat like a furnace. She made no attempt to hide her demonic origin, her true form on full display.
"Yuzuha...!"
Nagisa recoiled, quickly pulling back her fist the moment she recognized her.
That face.
That voice.
It was someone she knew far too well.
The person standing before her wasn’t just another enemy.
It was family.
"Why the look of disgust, Nagisa-chan?" Yuzuha purred, tilting her head in mock offense. "It’s like... you’re not even looking at your own aunt."
"Ngh...!"
Her words struck like daggers.
It was none other than her aunt.
A demon of blood, of flame, and of torment.
"You’ve gotten fierce, Nagisa-chan. Looks like Yuuna-chan raised you well," Yuzuha said with a chuckle. "And damn—those breasts of yours have gotten bigger."
In the blink of an eye, Yuzuha vanished from sight.
Before Nagisa could react, she was already behind her.
And then—grab.
Her hands seized Nagisa’s chest with a firm squeeze.
"Ngh...!"
Nagisa’s body froze. She didn’t even have time to counter.
Yuzuha’s speed was inhuman.
"What the hell are you doing here?!"
Yuuna’s voice pierced through the tension, sharp and furious as she looked up toward the sky.
And what she saw... made her blood run cold.
It wasn’t just Masayoshi and Yuzuha.
It was an army.
An entire battalion of soldiers marched from the shadows behind them.
They carried the flag of the Souichiro Faction.
And standing tall at their front—bathed in pride and menace—was none other than Souichiro himself.
"Souichiro!!!"
"Hahahaha!"
His laughter thundered across the battlefield, mocking and cruel.
"Surprised by my grand entrance?" he called out with a smile that was all teeth. "You knew this was coming, Yuuna. You just didn’t want to believe it."
He spread his arms wide, gesturing to the overwhelming force behind him.
"With just the four of you... what can you possibly do against my army?"
Yuuna’s face was pale, her jaw clenched tight.
Her fists shook at her sides.
She hadn’t seen this coming.
She didn’t expect him to come here himself—not now.
"Don’t forget, Yuuna," Souichiro continued, his voice sharp with mockery. "This is war. And even though you’re my sister, I won’t take it easy on you. It would be no mercy and hesitation."
His eyes burned—not with anger, but with pleasure.
He was enjoying this.
The chaos. The tension. The power imbalance.
He was soaking in it like a drug.
"So... Momoko ratted us out, huh?" Yuuna muttered under her breath, cursing.
This had become far worse than anything she could’ve imagined.
They were surrounded.
There was no escape.
They were outnumbered... outmatched.
And Kouhei—Kouhei was still unconscious.
He had only just been brought back from death.
There was no way she could let him get caught in this again.
No way she could let him suffer another time.
What could she do?
What choice did she have?
A war only ends when one side is obliterated.
And right now... they had no chance of winning.
But—if she surrendered...
If she gave herself up...
Then maybe, just maybe, the others would be spared.
It would be enough.
As long as they survived... as long as he survived...
Then it was worth it.
All she needed to do was get Souichiro to promise not to harm them.
Her heart raced, but her resolve solidified.
It was better this way.
Better she be taken... than Kouhei die again.
Better she fall... than see her friends broken.
Being surrounded like this, helpless against a tide of enemies... she had no other path forward.
And she knew—she was the only one who could make this choice.
"Yuuna," Souichiro called out. "You can’t run from this. All the things you’ve done to get away from me... they’ll all come back to bite you. And in the end, you’ll return to me, like you were always meant to."
"You’re right," Yuuna said quietly.
And with trembling knees, she dropped to the ground.
Her knees hit the cold earth with a soft thud.
"I’ll come back home. I’ll do whatever you ask."
Souichiro’s eyes widened.
Then he burst into laughter—louder, crueler, and more amused than before.
"What? Hahaha! So you are begging!" he jeered. "How low you’ve fallen—siding with those trash rejects. That’s right. Beg! Beg for my forgiveness, Yuuna!"
"I will," she said, her voice steady despite the storm raging inside her. "In exchange... let my people go. Let the Child of Anti-Prophecy live."
Souichiro looked down on her like a king before a peasant, his face contorted in mocking delight.
Then—he laughed again.
This time, his whole body rocked, his hand pressed against his belly.
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! You’re pleading for them? That’s rich! When did you start giving a damn about anyone else?!"
He stared at her—at her lowered form—with wild amusement.
"Well, no matter," he said, smirking. "Fine. I’ll do that. I accept."
He raised a hand toward the portal behind him.
"Now come."
Without another word, Yuuna stood slowly—her expression blank, her heart buried under layers of pain.
And she walked.
She stepped forward and disappeared through the swirling vortex of light and shadow.
The remaining members of the Yuuna Faction could only stand there, frozen in disbelief.
Powerless to move.
Unable to stop her.
All they could do... was watch.
