Hina stood by the window, her cloth poised but forgotten in her hand as she gazed down at Kouhei and Aria, talking and resting together on the mansion steps. She hadn't moved for some time now, transfixed by Kouhei's presence. Her stare was so intent, it was as if she was seeing something only she could understand.

"Is something wrong, Hina?" Yuuna's voice cut through, noticing that Hina had stopped cleaning.

"Nothing," Hina replied, her eyes still locked on Kouhei through the glass.

Yuuna's eyes narrowed as she watched Hina. She must be really horny, Yuuna thought. She wouldn't be staring at him like this otherwise. Her lower lips must be aching for him. The thought made her frown. If Kouhei knew he was being eyed as just a tool for someone's pleasure, he'd be furious. He'd made it clear he wasn't anyone's plaything or stress reliever; he was a person, and he didn't want to be treated otherwise. Yuuna knew she had to step in before Hina's approach pushed him away completely.

"Hina, I know I told you to bond with him, but don't push yourself to force something that isn't there," Yuuna warned. "If he gets uncomfortable, it could turn ugly. We need to avoid that at all costs."

Hina nodded slightly, though her eyes kept drifting back to Kouhei. Her expression was blank, almost unreadable, but Yuuna sensed something beneath the surface.

"Can I ask you something, Hina?" Yuuna said carefully.

Hina finally turned from the window. "What is it?"

"What do you feel for Okumura-kun?" Yuuna pressed. "It doesn't make sense. You've had sex with him, but you haven't gotten any power boosts from it. Usually, that kind of closeness would create at least a little bond, right? Even casual sex forms some kind of connection, however small."

After all, if two people could connect deeply enough to share their bodies, even if it was just physical, it counted for something. Yuuna's own mana had surged just from giving him a hand job, and after a simple hug, she'd felt completely recharged. But with Hina, there was nothing.

Hina turned back to the window, staring into her own reflection. "I have no idea," she replied, her voice distant.

Her face remained unchanged, but Yuuna could sense her uncertainty. Hina was a mystery, even to her. Out of everyone in the student council, Hina was the only one Yuuna hadn't gotten close to. That was understandable, considering Hina's ability to drain life force and make people cum uncontrollably just from a touch. Getting close to her was difficult, and her emotionless expression was like trying to read a blank slate.

Well, at least she's not totally indifferent to him, Yuuna thought, watching Hina. Whatever was going on in her mind, one thing was clear—she had some sort of feeling for Kouhei, even if she couldn't figure it out herself.

After hours of work, the day finally faded into night, the sunset casting warm orange hues over the mansion grounds. They'd finally finished cleaning. The exterior walls were free of grime and mold, the windows sparkled, and the knee-high grass in the yard was neatly trimmed. Inside, every room gleamed, spotless and fresh. The place was finally livable.

"Finally..." Katsuko dropped to her knees, feeling the weight of exhaustion hit all at once. "It's finally over..." She gasped, her voice full of relief.

"Thank you for the hard work, Katsuko…" came a lazy, almost dreamy voice from behind. The voice belonged to Terashima Sakurako, who had appeared only now, seemingly untouched by the hours of effort everyone else had put in. Despite not lifting a finger to help, she sounded just as drained—if not more so—than Katsuko. Small in stature, Sakurako looked like the type to be protected rather than involved in anything strenuous, which had earned her the role of the student council's "mascot."

"Sakurako-chan," came Kozue's voice from behind her. The smile on her face looked friendly, but it didn't reach her eyes.

"Eeeek!" Sakurako squeaked, freezing as she caught that unsettling smile. When Kozue wore a smile like that, it was downright terrifying.

"You look like you had a nice rest," Kozue said, the smile stretching a bit further.

"R-Rest? I wasn't resting! I was just… uh… cleaning the spots where you couldn't reach!" Sakurako stammered, eyes darting nervously.

"Oh? Is that so?" Kozue's smile didn't waver, making Sakurako squirm under the gaze.

As the mansion settled in its newfound cleanliness, Yuuna took charge. "Now that the place is spotless, we need to discuss our next steps. The Demon Hunter Association has issued multiple tasks to every demon hunter to hunt down the child of the anti-prophecy, and we're responsible for protecting him. With our limited firepower, the effectiveness of that protection isn't great. Naturally, I don't expect all of you to stay by his side constantly—everyone has their own responsibilities, and attending school is something we can't ignore. Since we can't afford to be absent, that means Okumura-kun will need to go to school too. We can't just leave him here unguarded."

The demons in the area, especially those tied to the Sarushima house, were under orders to protect the school they were currently attending. It was as though they were guarding the kingdom's frontline; if the school were compromised, it would lead to a cascade of losses, eventually threatening the kingdom's core. Protecting the school was critical; it was their tower in a deadly game of defense, and if it fell, the enemies would be free to assault the heart of their kingdom.

Beneath the school lay an entrance to Hell itself—an entryway they needed to safeguard at all costs. If the Demon Hunter Association or the Angels learned of its existence, it could spell disaster, which made protecting the school an absolute priority. But that also meant splitting their attention between guarding Kouhei and defending the school, presenting a serious dilemma.

"Why don't we just hide him somewhere in Hell?" Katsuko suggested, crossing her arms thoughtfully.

Hell, with its fortified layers and defenses, seemed like a perfect place to hide Kouhei where no angel could just stroll in and eliminate him.

"Of course, we could try that," Yuuna replied, sighing, "but unfortunately, there are factions in Hell that are allied with the Fallen Angels. We can't be sure he'd be safe there either."

This was a dilemma, no doubt. The situation felt like a blend of a tower defense and protect-the-king game—if they lost either Kouhei or the school, it would be game over.

"Which is why I'm ordering each of you to keep an eye on Okumura-kun whenever possible. Even just one of you at a time should be enough. In class, at least, Hina is his classmate, but let's make sure someone checks on him regularly."

It sounded like a hassle, honestly. Kouhei thought so himself. But there wasn't much anyone could do right now.

The fact that there was an entrance to Hell hidden beneath the school was shocking to him. In any other setting, he'd probably have fainted from the sheer absurdity of it. But this wasn't a normal situation.

For the moment, though, the mansion was finally cleaned, and everyone was bone-tired from the effort. It was time to get some well-earned rest. After a quick dinner—prepared solely by Kozue, who seemed to be the mansion's designated chef—the members gradually began to disperse, each heading back to their own residences. By nightfall, only Kozue, Hina, Aria, Yuuna, Nagisa, and Kouhei remained, the others having left due to duties with other households.

As the mansion fell quiet, the few remaining members settled down, most already asleep. Kouhei found himself alone in the dimly lit living room with Yuuna, who was sipping something that looked like thick, dark red liquid.

"It looks like you've finally adapted to all of this, Okumura-kun," Yuuna remarked, her voice soft and almost soothing.

"I don't know about that," Kouhei replied, looking down. "There's still so much I don't understand, and honestly, I feel like there are things happening that I'm just not able to handle. I… I don't want to be a burden on all of you, so I figured I'd stay quiet rather than add to your load."

Yuuna took another sip, her eyes studying him thoughtfully. "I, at least, don't see you as a burden. Hina doesn't either. Kozue, well… she might have her issues with you, but she also acknowledges that you're important to us. Even she wouldn't leave you unprotected."

Kozue seemed to loathe Kouhei with every fiber of her being. Well, "seemed" wasn't quite right—she practically radiated disdain whenever she looked his way.

"Kozue doesn't like men at all," Yuuna explained, her voice lowered. "It's probably why she's so hostile toward you."

Kouhei paused, considering. Clearly, Kozue had some history, some reason for her intense hatred toward men. He wasn't about to pry, but he'd be lying if he said he wasn't curious.

Yuuna finished off the last of the red liquid in her glass, setting it down gently. Rising from the sofa, she stretched languidly, her eyes gleaming as they met his.

"I'm heading for a bath, Okumura-kun." Her voice dropped, turning rich and sultry. She tilted her head, giving him a smoldering look. "Care to join me? I could use someone to help wash my back…"
