I Turned Filthy Rich Just By Sleeping With Women?!-Chapter 42: Golden Key
Chapter 42: Golden Key
Zhao Yiming finally straightened up, wiping the sweat from his temple with a sigh of relief.
Thanks to the ’Clean Dude’ perk, his movements had been swift and efficient—cleaning blood, broken glass, and furniture like a pro.
Then came the ding.
---

Along with the upgrades, he also received a new knuckle-duster that boosted his strength when equipped—and an Anti-Jealousy Lollipop, which temporarily erased jealousy from any target for 24 hours. Dangerous? Yes. Useful? Absolutely.
But the juiciest rewards came from the conclusion of a certain story arc...

Zhao Yiming grinned wide. "As expected of the perverted deity! Generous in gifts, insane in methods—my kind of god!"
He was about to check what the mysterious Golden Ticket did when Su Meilin’s voice startled him.
"Yiming, are you done?"
He spun around. "Yeah. Did you find anything?"
She shook her head. "Nothing yet. We’ll probably need to search his room or office."
Yiming nodded. "Makes sense."
Luo Yanyu agreed as well, stepping up beside them. The penthouse was back in order—blood cleaned, furniture rearranged, and no signs of the earlier chaos.
With that, they made their way toward Su Meilin’s apartment to continue the search for the elusive ledger.
***
Su Meilin and Jin Haolong had separate rooms, and they rarely slept together.
"He wanted his own room even after we got married... It was kinda lonely at times, but now I’m glad we did," Su Meilin muttered as she unlocked the door.
When they finally stepped into the bastard’s bedroom, they were met with a gaudy display of wealth and narcissism.
A life-sized statue of himself stood proudly by the window, and beside it, a massive full-body mirror loomed.
"What a weird room..." Luo Yanyu commented, wrinkling her nose.
Both Zhao Yiming and Meilin nodded in agreement.
There wasn’t much space to hide anything—just countless display pieces: statues, vases, abstract art, and unnecessary furniture that screamed rich idiot.
So, they moved into the walk-in closet, which turned out to be even bigger than the bedroom itself.
"Let’s start from here," Zhao Yiming said, rolling up his sleeves.
He began with the wardrobe, which was stuffed with colorful suits—bright reds, shiny greens, even gold. None of the usual monochrome or dark tones men typically wore.
’This bastard is a narcissist with trash taste,’ Zhao Yiming thought, shaking his head. The ceiling was literally a giant mirror, reflecting their every move.
It was hard to concentrate when he could see himself from every angle.
But the more he searched, the more he realized just how disgustingly rich Jin Haolong had been.
Branded clothes, custom shoes, luxury belts... all untouched, like he was collecting them just to flex.
An hour passed. An hour wasted rummaging through piles of designer crap—and nothing useful.
Gathering back together, Zhao Yiming turned to Meilin. "You don’t know where he usually hid important documents?"
"He was really secretive," she sighed. "He never trusted me enough to tell me. But..." Her eyes suddenly widened.
"Wait! He spent a lot of time in his study. Once, I went in to clean and he yelled at me for not knocking. He must’ve been hiding something in there!"
Zhao Yiming rubbed his chin. "Makes sense. Bet there’s a safe or something."
They made their way to the study, which was connected to the bedroom—but the door was locked. Su Meilin frowned and began searching.
"Weird. He usually hides the key inside a vase or one of the fake bonsai..." she murmured, frustrated. "Maybe he moved it after I cleaned the office that one time?"
"That must be it," Luo Yanyu added. "He definitely had something important in there."
Zhao Yiming’s patience was thinning. The searching, the guessing, the rich-boy paranoia—it was all too much.
Screw it.
He picked up a nearby statue and turned to the women. "Stand back."
Then, with a few solid smashes to the doorknob, the lock finally broke.
The door creaked open, revealing an overly-decorated office filled with bookshelves and a large desk.
Zhao Yiming pointed, "You two check the books and drawers. I’ll handle the desk."
Moments later, books were flying to the floor, drawers yanked open, papers scattered. It was chaos—but organized chaos. They combed through every inch of the study.
Then Zhao Yiming found it—a safe, tucked behind the desk wall. Of course it was locked. ƒгeewebnovёl.com
"I got this," Luo Yanyu said confidently.
She knelt down, pressed her ear to the safe, and began slowly turning the dial with practiced ease. Zhao Yiming and Meilin held their breath, not daring to make a sound.
Then—click.
The safe opened.
Luo Yanyu stood up, hands on her hips, grinning with pride. She looked at Yiming like a student waiting for a teacher’s praise.
Zhao Yiming laughed, ruffling her hair. "I didn’t know you had that kind of hidden talent, Yanyu!"
Her cheeks turned red, and she quickly looked away, trying to hide her flustered smile.
He turned back to the safe and pulled it open. Inside were stacks of documents, gold bars, property certificates—everything a corrupt businessman might hoard.
But no ledger.
Until something glimmered near the back.
A golden key.
Zhao Yiming’s eyes narrowed.
"Well, well... What the hell do you open?"
