I Was Born With A Bloodline That Ended The World-Chapter 106: Disappointing
Rhian’s heart pounded in his chest. He tried to pull away, but Justin’s grip was iron.
Justin’s other hand moved in a blur, slamming into Rhian’s ribs. The sound was a dull crack, pain shooting through Rhian’s side.
Rhian snarled, his own hand flashing up to grab Justin’s wrist.
He twisted, trying to break the hold, but Justin didn’t budge. His hand moved to Rhian’s shoulder, shoving him back like he weighed nothing.
Rhian staggered, his boots skidding on the stone floor. He caught himself, his eyes locked on Justin.
He saw it then, the calm smile that wasn’t a smile at all. It was cold, like a promise of what was coming.
Rhian roared, his body surging forward again. His arms moved faster, his fists slamming into Justin’s guard, his elbows and shoulders crashing forward. He used every inch of his strength, every ounce of his will.
Justin let him come. He let the blows land, his body absorbing them like water, his feet never shifting from their spot. Then, with a slow breath, he moved.
His hand shot out, catching Rhian’s wrist mid-punch. He twisted, his grip like a vice, and Rhian felt his body jerk sideways.
Justin’s knee came up, slamming into his stomach with a thud that stole his breath.
Rhian gasped, his arms trembling. He didn’t have time to react before Justin’s elbow crashed into his back, driving him to his knees.
He tried to stand, but Justin’s foot pressed on his shoulder, forcing him down.
Rhian’s teeth ground together. He planted his palms on the ground and shoved up with a roar, his body twisting free in a burst of force. He spun, his hand flashing up to slam into Justin’s jaw.
Justin’s head turned with the blow. But he didn’t move back. He just looked at Rhian, eyes narrowing for the first time. Then he moved.
He stepped in, his body calm and precise. His hand slammed into Rhian’s chest, knocking him back.
Rhian’s feet skidded on the stone, but he didn’t fall. He lunged again, his arms sweeping forward in a blur of movement.
Justin caught both wrists, his fingers clamping down hard. He twisted them outward, and Rhian felt the joints strain under the pressure.
Justin didn’t let go. His foot came up, slamming into Rhian’s gut and sending him sprawling across the ground.
Rhian gasped, his arms shaking as he pushed himself back up. His face was tight, his eyes locked on Justin. He wasn’t done. He wouldn’t be done.
Justin tilted his head, that calm look never leaving his face. He stepped forward again, his footfalls quiet but heavy. Rhian rose to meet him, every muscle screaming.
They clashed again, bodies slamming together in a blur of fists and elbows.
Rhian fought with everything he had, each movement driven by a raw, stubborn fury. Justin met it with calm, each strike measured and sure.
Rhian’s vision blurred, sweat and blood mixing in his eyes. He didn’t stop. He swung again, his arm moving on instinct alone.
Rhian’s eyes flared with a wild light. His breath was ragged, his body aching, but he wasn’t done. He refused to be done. He took a sharp breath and focused.
A flicker of power surged through him. Shadows twisted around Justin’s feet, snaking up his legs.
Rhian’s illusions spread out around them, a dozen copies flashing in and out, each moving with the same purpose.
Justin didn’t pause. He moved between them like they were water, his body shifting and flickering in the same moment.
Rhian lunged forward, his illusions striking from every side, their fists crashing against the air.
Justin vanished. His teleportation left no sound, no warning, just a blur of motion as he reappeared behind one of the illusions and shattered it with a backhand.
His eyes flicked over the real Rhian, calm and sure.
Rhian’s heart hammered. He pushed harder, his shadows pulling at Justin’s legs and waist.
For a heartbeat, he thought he had him, but Justin’s body shifted again, slipping free like smoke.
Then Rhian felt his back shudder. Justin’s foot slammed into his spine, driving him forward.
Rhian caught himself and turned, his wings tearing out of his back with a burst of pain and fury. The feathers gleamed black and gold in the arena lights.
He surged forward with everything he had, wings flaring out to cut off Justin’s angles. He lunged, his fists swinging, his illusions crashing in from every side. 𝕗𝚛𝚎𝚎𝐰𝗲𝗯𝗻𝚘𝚟𝚎𝗹.𝕔𝐨𝕞
Justin moved with that same, eerie calm. He slipped past each strike, each illusion fading as he countered.
His hand caught Rhian’s throat for a moment, shoving him back so hard his boots tore lines in the stone.
Rhian roared. His wings snapped forward, trying to catch Justin, but he was gone. He reappeared at Rhian’s side, his hand slamming into his ribs.
Bone cracked. Rhian gasped but didn’t stop. His illusions pressed in, the shadows swirling tighter around Justin.
For a moment, the shadows pinned Justin’s arm, and Rhian’s fist shot forward, slamming into his jaw. The crowd erupted, the noise pounding in Rhian’s ears.
But Justin didn’t even blink. He stepped forward, ignoring the hit, his other hand grabbing Rhian’s wrist. He twisted, his foot hooking Rhian’s leg and sending him sprawling.
Rhian’s wings flared, catching him before he hit the ground. He used the momentum, twisting and lunging up again. His illusions blurred around them, each one a mirror of his fury.
Justin didn’t bother with the illusions anymore. He moved straight for Rhian, his body teleporting in short, sharp bursts.
One second, he was in front, the next at Rhian’s back. His fists crashed into Rhian’s shoulders and ribs, breaking through the illusions like they weren’t even there.
Rhian swung again, his wings cutting the air. His shadow reached out, clawing at Justin’s ankles, but Justin simply disappeared and reappeared beside him. His elbow crashed into Rhian’s temple, bright pain exploding across his vision.
Rhian staggered but didn’t fall. His breath was ragged, blood in his mouth, but he didn’t stop. He pushed forward, illusions flickering and shadows twisting.
Justin tilted his head, his eyes still calm, still cold. His hand shot forward, fingers gripping Rhian’s throat.
He squeezed, his strength overwhelming. Rhian tried to pull free, his wings battering the air, but Justin didn’t let go.
He leaned in, his voice quiet but clear. "You’re strong for an E rank, im sure if i was a D rank, you woul havr gave me a run for my money, disappointing, ive always heard that tour filthy abominatios are stronger than us."
Then he slammed Rhian down, the stone floor cracking under the impact. Rhian gasped, his vision blurring.
His wings folded in, his illusions shuddered and broke. The shadows faded, slipping back into the dark.
Justin stepped back, his face as calm as it had been from the start. Rhian lay there for a moment, breathing hard, the last of his strength spent. He pushed up, his arms shaking. He wasn’t done. Not yet.
But Justin just watched, his body still waiting for Rhian to try again.
