I Will Create a Good Ending for the Yandere Villainess-Chapter 94: Soda Break? (edited)
"So, what did ya think the icebag was for?" Millis asked while sitting on a wooden bench with her hands behind her head.
They were all currently outside, sitting on one of the many benches around the Academy Building. They haven’t decided to walk to the Forest yet.
Lillian tilted her head at her, standing in front of a vending machine.
"Icebag?"
Millis nodded, "Ya know... that guy with red hair..." she tried to describe his features.
Marionette, who stood beside Lillian, then spoke up.
"Xander Fie Reyla."
"Oh, him! Not sure." Lillian shrugged, holding her phone over the vending machine’s scanner and paying for her drink.
Krr... Bum. Bum.
Lillian reached down and pushed her hand through the rectangular slit and fetching out a red can of soda.
It had a silver-coloured rim, top and bottom, with everything else being red and black.
Its brand was illustrated as a singular wing with its brand name at the top reading, "Norm."
Lillian stepped away from the vending machine and let Marionette have her turn. She sat beside Millis and pulled against the tab, cracking it open and then taking a sip from it. Continue reading at novelbuddy
Its cherry-like flavour flooded her mouth before draining down her throat, giving her that satisfying burn of carbonated liquid.
"Puah~! Nothing like a good soda, huh?" she then held her hand to her mouth before giving a small burp. "Oops... excuse me."
"All good!" Millis patted her back.
Lillian chuckled, staring at the blue sky, "Anyway... maybe that guy got into a fight and lost. He seemed like he was picking a fight with Gram, after the exam."
"Gram? Oh, the caveman! Yeah, I guess so. Who the hell gets an Item that makes you angry anyway?"
"People who want to pick fights." Lillian smiled, watching as Marionette sat beside her with a dark blue soda can—from what Lillian remembered, this seemed to be a blueberry-flavoured soda.
"I didn’t know you liked blueberry-flavoured things."
"... Neither did I... until recently..." Marionette responded in a stoic tone, cracking open the tab and drinking it.
Lillian raised an eyebrow, "Recently, huh? I always took you for a chocolate-liking person."
Marionette gave her a glance, pulling the soda away from her lips and crossing her right leg over her left. She then placed her left hand slightly further back on the bench and leaned a bit.
"Who says I can’t like both?"
"Yeah... you’re right." Lillian stared at her soda can, swirling it around a bit before perking up, "Oh right! What number did you get, Marionette?"
Marionette stared at her before glancing towards Millis, who was staring down at her phone, giggling at the short videos she scrolled through.
She then faced forward, staring at the crowd of students communing around the building, while throwing them subtle, brief glances.
"I’ll tell you later."
Lillian groaned.
"Ugh... Seriously?"
Marionette then responded in a deadpan tone.
"Hm? Do you really expect me to openly state that in such a public area?"
Lillian sighed.
"I suppose you’re right..."
Then suddenly, Lillian felt a hand stroke the back of her waist before making its way to her side. She was then pulled in by Marionette’s arm before having her chin gently grabbed by her.
Marionette turned Lillian’s surprised face-up and said:
"I’ll tell you what you want to know once we get back to my room..."
Lillian blushed a bit, placing a hand between their face and turning away, "R-right..." As much as she wanted to turn this around and possibly make it so Marionette was the one blushing, she couldn’t help but shrink a bit.
Her eyes then met Millis’s who stared at them teasingly. She watched as she smiled and flicked her hand at them repeatedly.
"No, no go on~ don’t let me stop you two from having a good time~. I especially want to know about that room part~..."
"S-shush, Millis!" Lillian shouted, pushing herself away from Marionette. As she was doing this, her hand collided with a soft and bouncy surface.
Boing... Boing... Boing...
’Hm? This seems kind of familiar...’
Lillian turned her eyes back to what her hand was... and was once again met with an embarrassing sight.
Marionette stared down at the hand grasping her left chest.
After a few minutes of silence, she clutched the wrist and gently lowered it back to Lillian’s side before scooting a bit away and turning her face to the side, taking another sip from her drink.
Lillian stared at her hand, blushing once again before clutching her face—cursing herself. ’Damn it...’
However, she couldn’t help but notice something odd. While her hand was pressed against Marionette’s left chest, she felt the subtle vibrations that travelled into her fingers.
It had a short interval and appeared rapidly. It was Marionette’s heartbeat. And for some reason, it was thumping quite fast.
She then felt an arm wrap around her neck and Millis’s teasing voice resounding beside her.
"Ehh~... so ya love grabbing boobs too, huh? I knew ya had it in ya." Millis grinned at the blushing Lillian, who shot her a look.
"You know for a fact that was on accident."
"Meh... but those few seconds weren’t."

"Those were seconds of realisation!"
Millis laughed, pulling away from Lillian, who glared at her. She then wiped the small tears from the corner of her eyes before staring back down at her phone.
"By the way, thanks again for the phone. Been using it a lot... and I mean... a lot... I also sent you a few texts, which ya..." she pouted, "Didn’t respond back to."
Lillian raised an eyebrow, "You did?" she then checked her phone went into her messaging app and found Millis at the top with a notification symbol.
She went into their chat and silently read the messages.
[Pervert: "Hey~... What’re you up to?"]
[Pervert: "Hm? This thing has an auto-correct? That’s super cool!"]
[Pervert: "Well anyway! Wanna come over and hang out? Because I’m currently honey!"]
[Pervert: "Oh boy... I can definitely see this auto-correct being annoying soon."]
Lillian’s eye twitched at these messages. While they aren’t so bad, she shouldn’t help but stare at one of them and the message following that.
She then creakingly turned her head towards Millis to see her with a mischievous grin.
"Wha~...? Blame me for shooting my shot with a hottie?"
SMACK!
"OW!"
Millis shot back, dropping to the ground while clutching the top of her head. She rolled around before yelling:
"WHY IS IT ALWAYS THE HEAD!?"
Lillian stared down at her before feeling her phone being quickly pulled out of her hand. She stared back and saw Marionette looking through her phone.
She watched as her eyes narrowed. It seems she was reading the messages. Lillian then watched as Marionette tapped at her screen with her thumb before giving it back.
Lillian looked down at her phone and saw a new contact on it.
"Eh? Is this your number, Marionette?"
Marionette pulled out her phone.
"I believed it was a good time to give it to you. Now call me so I can assign you as a contact in mine as well."
Lillian nodded and did as she said.
Marionette felt the buzzing on her phone and the display of an unknown caller. She then shot a random glance back at Lillian to find her placing her phone against her ear.
She raised an eyebrow before accepting it and doing the same.
"Hey~, hone—"
Marionette immediately hung up, leaving Lillian shocked.
"You couldn’t have played along...?" Lillian asked in a low tone.
Marionette stared at her before shrugging, "Didn’t see a need to." she said, staring at her screen before standing up.
"It’s 10:30. Let’s head back to class, Lillian."
Lillian gave a tired nod and got up, staring down at Millis, who was sitting on the ground, rubbing the top of her head. She then held out a hand to her.
Millis stared at the hand before using it to help herself up.
"I swear there is some bias going on. Why am I always getting such abusive treatment while she gets to see ya acting all flustered and that." she pouted, crossing her arms before grinning, "That’s isn’t to say I ain’t likin’ ya touchin’ me like that~"
Lillian rolled her eyes and drank her soda again... was what she wanted to do before realising it had some how disappeared from her hand, "W-what the?"
She looked around before eventually spotting Marionette throwing away her empty soda can into the trashcan before staring down at a familiar red can and chugging it.
Lillian stared at her with wide eyes as she threw it into the trash and began to walk to the entrance.
Millis glanced between the two before giving a teasing whistle, "Well ain’t that romantic in a way~?"
"Hush it, Millis!"
