I’ll Be The Warrior’s Mother-Chapter 79
“Madam, this is Ben.”
Ben located Yelena’s study that was attached to her room early in the morning.
He came to deliver the budget data she had talked about the day before.
“Madam?”
There was no answer in the study.
‘The maid said she was definitely in the study.’
What’s going on?
After agonizing for a while, Ben opened the door to the study.
“Madam, I’m coming in…”
Ben, who opened the door and examined the scene inside the study, immediately widened his eyes.
“Madam!”
At Ben’s cry, Yelena, whose cheeks had been pressed against the desk in the study, lifted her head, half asleep.
“Oh, Ben…? Is that Ben?”
Ben, who had hastily rushed into the study because he thought the duchess had collapsed, paused.
Multiple materials cluttered the desk and floor.
Under Yelena’s watch.
Ben asked in a voice mixed with relief and disappointment.
“…Madam, have you been here all night?”
That was correct.
Yelena spent the whole night in her study.
She didn’t intend for it to be that way from the beginning.
However, the worries and conflicts surrounding one problem deepened, and as she tried to solve them, dawn broke outside the window.
“Uh-huh, well… That’s what happened. The morning sun seems to rise earlier than I thought…”
“No, what on earth were you doing…”
A piece of paper got stuck on Ben’s foot, causing him to become embarrassed.
Ben picked up the paper and read the words.
“…Festival?”
That’s right.
Yelena stayed up all night thinking about what place to choose for their date.
The fourth step to a successful relationship: make memories between the two of them through dating.
The day before, Yelena had engraved her heart into the reply to Rosaline, and Yelena was full of enthusiasm.
Just in time, her husband also secured a day.
There was no reason to delay.
She gathered together all sorts of materials to find a date spot that she liked.
Then, after rigorous screening, two final candidates were left.
One was a festival.
The other was a boat ride.
Both had pros and cons as dating locations.
For the festival, they would have to wander among countless people. However, there were many things to enjoy so they could make all kinds of memories.
The boat ride would be quiet, and they could spend time alone in a plausible atmosphere, but the memories left would be limited.
It was a festival or a boat ride.
A boat ride, or a festival.
Before that, everything went smoothly, but a problem arose during the final selection stage.
The agony of choosing between the two kept Yelena from leaving the study all night.
After much deliberation, she came up with the answer that they could just go to both of them, but then the question of where to go ‘first’ arose.
Because the place they went first was the place of their first date.
‘Our first date!’
Yelena had never given much meaning to the first experiences in her life.
Rather, she often thought that since it was the first time, it wasn’t a big deal.
‘But then, I made such a fuss all night.’
Yelena was a little stunned because she didn’t understand herself.
She felt hopeless as she watched the sunrise.
‘Well, I did end up picking one anyway…’
After staying up all night, Yelena finally succeeded in choosing between the two.
Her choice was the boat ride.
Yes, it would be their first date, so it would be better to spend time together rather than be crushed by other people.
Rather than a festival, let’s have a boat ride.
“Are you going to the festival?”
“No, I was considering it for a moment, but now…”
“Come to think of it, the master has never been to a festival.”
Yelena paused.
“What?”
“The dead couple were very reluctant to reveal the master to the outside. For external events such as festivals… well, there was nothing to say.”
Ben let out a heavy sigh.
“When the whole family went out to see the festival, the young master always stayed in the castle under the pretext of being sick.”
“… ”
“There was a time when rumors spread that the master was born weak. It was a ridiculous rumor. At that age, he already held a sword and could run a few laps while wearing armor…
“…”
“They’re already dead, but they’ll be punished in hell…”
“Ben.”
Yelena put aside the information related to the boat ride that was under her hand a while ago.
Then she brought out the piece of paper with the location and date of the festival and said.
“I have a favor to ask of you. Can you introduce me to a sorcerer?”
