In Konoha, This Naruto Has Decided To Take It Easy-Chapter 494 Taint Their Bloodline
Chapter 494 - 494 Taint Their Bloodline
"How about marrying off the gods and have them produce children?" Sakura teased, "Are there even gods in this world? Where would you find them? I don't think they exist at all."
"That's not necessarily true." Naruto replied. "Those beings aren't exactly gods, they're just a bit special. And marrying and having children definitely won't work, as the key is to taint their bloodline."
"Huh?" Sakura blinked, feeling an inexplicable chill creeping up her spine.
When Naruto spoke about tainting their bloodline, she felt there's something off about his expression and tone... something dark and sinister, almost as if he was intent on cutting off their lineage entirely.
Naruto then detailed Orochimaru's research, explaining his Living Corpse Reincarnation thoroughly. He also shared his own understanding of the soul, speculating that the so-called immortality of gods might involve turning themselves into data. To make a god fall, the key would be to corrupt their Kama.
Sakura's head was spinning after hearing these words, as her brain was suddenly filled with all kinds of knowledge. From bloodlines to souls, these were things ordinary people wouldn't even think about.
She found it hard to imagine how much hidden knowledge Naruto had been exposed to and what his mental state must be like on a day-to-day basis.
However, she accepted the hybrid's statement very smoothly, and she already had an idea in her mind. After being given time to sort out some things one by one, she could probably formulate a research plan.
Leaving the research division, Naruto felt refreshed. How could he not? Both physically and mentally, he had released so much energy. Taking big strides out the door, he headed off to find Choji.
He hadn't seen Hinata for days. He heard that she was apparently in the final stages of her Jonin Exams.
Compared to Shikamaru and Ino, Choji had it the easiest. Shikamaru was aiming for the position of the next village's strategist, and Ino had her own responsibilities.
Choji, on the other hand, lived life simply: eating, eating, and more eating. His motto was to enjoy life by constantly eating. He could jump on a table and devour everything in a 360-degree sweep.
The two of them had arranged to meet at a snack bar to eat and chat.
"So, how's it going, Choji?" Naruto clinked his glass with Choji's and asked.
"You're one to talk. In a little while, you'll probably have kids." Choji grumbled. "At least two of them. I envy you so much."
"Yeah, right. I'm not envious at all." Naruto said, shaking his legs in a cocky manner.
"How's that thing of yours coming along?" Choji suddenly realized and blinked his eyes. "Have you made up your mind, or what?"
It was the same old story. Choji rambled on about how both girls were good girls and how Naruto shouldn't be indecisive. He went on and on, then flopped onto the table.
"So hungry, let's order more food."
Naruto hummed in response, not really listening, 'Choosing between two girls? At this point? That was like trying to play the stock market in a crisis.' He scoffed to himself, 'That's ridiculous.'
In Naruto's view, the timing, location, and conditions were all perfect right now. Ino was busy, and Hinata was about to finish her Jonin Exams.
Naruto himself was currently stuck in Konoha, feeling the itch to act but unable to make a move yet.
Hesitation leads to defeat, decisiveness leads to loss. But at this point, he didn't care if he lost. He had been in these relationships for six years now. If he was going to lose, so be it, as he was already used to the weight of multiple troubles and debts.
Both of them had drunk a lot by now, finally getting to the point where they could be honest. Choji, with eyes red, slurred as he kept talking.
"Getting married is so hard. Someone's always watching me."
"No one's watching me, but it's still tough. Those who are capable should do more work." Naruto replied, his words dripping with sarcasm.
"Ugh~~!!!" Choji gagged
"Damn it, don't throw up."
The scene was a mess, with chaos all around. Naruto suspected that Choji was taking revenge on him, 'Deep down, Choji was probably so envious that he was practically green with jealousy. Outwardly, though, he could only pretend to advise me to be a better person.'
After thinking about it for a while, Naruto decided this theory was the most likely.
The next day, after a whole day of rest, Naruto, who had worn himself out, decided to stay home.
Kurama had just returned from outside and paused when he saw Naruto lying on the couch. It seemed like he couldn't believe his eyes and even pinched himself to check.
"Why aren't you out today?"
"Do I have to go out? Can't I rest for once?" Naruto shot Kurama a glance, still lying on the couch, engrossed in a manga, the Icha Icha Paradise.
There were always those in the Shinobi World who had a passion for drawing, people with a fervent artistic drive. They specialized in creating beautiful comics, trying to cater to the masses' fantasies.
It was like how some websites forbade writing about certain activities, forcing authors to focus on things like foot fetishes instead. The more extreme ones even wrote about... well, things that couldn't be mentioned.
"What's that yellow drink on your table? It doesn't look like the sake I've had before?" Kurama curiously walked over and sniffed.
"Shoo, shoo, that's adult stuff, not for you."
"Stingy. One sip won't hurt you." Kurama grumbled, still trying to grab the bottle of medicinal liquor from the table, but Naruto snatched it back.
There are only two types of medicinal liquor in the world: those that boost kidney health and those that don't.
Kurama, feeling rebuffed, gave up and wandered around the living room for a while before grabbing his own bottle of sake from the kitchen and retreating to his room.
Now the living room was empty again.
'It's almost time now. I should find some time to complete Task Line III. It's been stuck at one-fifth completion forever.' He thought to himself.
He was already prepared to deal with Danzo, but due to the fact that the newly approved communications project hadn't been fully implemented yet, he had to wait a few more days.
If he acted now, it would only alert the enemy.
Tsunade wasn't in a hurry, and neither was Naruto or Danzo. They were all holding back their schemes, waiting to see who would crack first, who would fall into the trap.
Naruto closed his eyes and submerged his consciousness into the seal space.
When he opened them again, a prison appeared before him, and Yugito calmly looked back at him. She had been locked up for two and a half years, and by now, her mindset was much more peaceful.
Ajisai and Yakumo were still training in the Jashin's Altar, which, to put it bluntly, meant they were being beaten. Naruto didn't care at all. As long as they weren't dead, he'd keep pushing them to their limits.
Besides, death didn't exist in the Jashin's Altar anyway, so it didn't matter.
In the cell of the seal space, there was only Yugito left. She is the Jonin of Kumogakure and the Jinchuriki of the Nibi, Matatabi.
