In Warhammer, My System is Minecraft-Chapter 153: Setting Off for the End
The evening camp was shrouded in the glow of torches. Karmine squatted before the brewing stand, entirely focused.
Zeke observed from the side at the right moment. First this, then that, then this, then that. Doesn’t look too hard.
A familiar sound of metallic joints grinding against each other came from behind him.
"The similarity between this camp of yours and the one on Cadia is actually a full one hundred percent."
Zeke turned around. Belisarius Cawl stood at the camp entrance.
His aged human face poked out from a pile of metal and cables, looking the same as always.
"When a Blueprint is printed out, of course it looks exactly the same." Zeke waved his hand at Karmine. Karmine glanced at Cawl and the tall shadow behind him, then disappeared into the tent behind her.
Zeke walked up to Cawl. "Long time no see. Didn’t you go to Mars?"
Cawl let out a low, rumbling chuckle. "Yes, I only returned recently. I came back to Terra alongside the special envoy of the Fabricator-General of Mars, a lady named Syllacan."
"She is currently being summoned by Guilliman. I imagine the Lord Regent’s expression right now is not very pleasant."
Zeke’s gaze moved past Cawl, landing on the perpetually silent shadow standing behind him.
He wore a battered grey suit of power armor devoid of any markings, and his eyes revealed a profound sorrow.
The most eye-catching feature was his large, bald head, which, under the illumination of the torches, gleamed brightly like a 100-watt lightbulb.
"And this is?" Zeke looked at this sorrowful Space Marine.
"Alpha Primus. One of my most outstanding Primaris experimental subjects. I poured a great deal of effort into him. He is a powerful psyker, capable of protecting me during my travels." Cawl patted Alpha Primus’s arm guard, like treating a beloved tool.
Alpha Primus frowned, but the expression was quickly wiped from his face, returning to a look of unruffled calm.
"So you two should be considered to have a father-son relationship?" Zeke was quite curious how Cawl, a Magos who had lived for ten thousand years, viewed this kind of emotion.
"You could say that. He carries a portion of my genes. According to your biology, it is indeed so."
When Zeke turned to Alpha Primus to ask for his opinion, Alpha Primus merely spat out a single sentence softly: "It is irrelevant."
"Alright, Zeke, I came here for—" Archmagos Cawl lowered his voice and leaned close to Zeke’s ear, "—for the matter regarding Trazyn."
Cawl’s mechanical appendages retracted slightly, adopting a posture for a private conversation.
Zeke followed Archmagos Cawl to a secluded corner, with Alpha Primus silently trailing behind the two of them.
"Trazyn contacted me."
"Wait a minute." Zeke interrupted what Archmagos Cawl was about to say next. "You and Trazyn have been in contact this whole time?"
Trazyn, no matter how you looked at it, was a Necron, a xenos species. Archmagos Cawl’s actions were hardly something to boast about.
"It was only him unilaterally contacting me. If possible, I would also like to communicate with him more. Necron technology has immense research value and can bring many benefits to humanity. For example, the quantum empathic resonance beacon I have been researching, known as the Pharos. Communicating through quantum entanglement, a fundamental physical law of the material universe, its operation does not rely on the Warp."
"Let’s stick to talking about Trazyn."
"He sent me a set of coordinates, saying it was the location of the End you were looking for."
Zeke took the dataslate Cawl handed over. The coordinates were clearly visible.
Nephilim Sub-sector, Planet 7/2.
He swiped his finger, and the next image appeared on the screen.
A square structure composed of 5x5 blocks, each block exhibiting a dark cyan color.
Without a doubt, it was the End Portal.
Zeke had never mentioned to Trazyn what the End Portal looked like; the possibility of this picture being forged was very low.
"The Nephilim Sub-sector is also my next destination."
"Archmagos Rorix 3 of the Adeptus Mechanicus discovered a Necron xenos ruin there, which possesses extreme research value. If you have the intention, I will request permission from Lord Guilliman to travel to that place with you."
Zeke agreed, and the two walked together toward Guilliman’s palace in the Imperium.
They passed through the camp’s agricultural zone, a flowerbed blooming with fresh flowers, a tapestry of intertwining colors.
Bela was busy acting as a postpartum assistant for the chickens in the Officio Logisticarum and wasn’t in the flowerbed.
Zeke stepped carefully so as not to trample any mystical flowers, and arrived at the center of the flowerbed. Here, Bela had already set up a complete Botania system.
Generating flowers, Mana Pools—everything was available. This was Bela’s recent achievement.
"Since he isn’t here, I’ll just help myself." Zeke checked JEI.
The virtual crafting recipes floated before his eyes. Zeke first took out a few Iron Ingots, walked to the edge of the Mana Pool, and by infusing the Iron Ingots with mana through the pool, crafted Manasteel Ingots.
He then went to an Elven Gateway, which looked similar to a Nether Portal structure, and tossed two Manasteel Ingots into the portal.
After a ripple, an Elementium Ingot was tossed back out.
The Elven Gateway could condense two Manasteel Ingots into an Elementium Ingot at a 2:1 ratio.
This was exactly the material Zeke needed. Zeke pulled out a crafting table and used the Elementium Ingots to first craft a bucket.
This bucket was called the Bottomless Pool. As the name implied, it was endless; it could take in an entire ocean and pour it back out.
The second item was a Black Hole Talisman, a palm-sized bag that served as an infinitely large backpack, allowing items to stack far beyond the usual 64-per-slot limit.
I’ll empty out the Officio Logisticarum’s materials in a bit. Then I won’t have to worry when using Blueprints in the future.
Having finished, Zeke extended his grasping claws toward the individual flowers planted in the pots to the side, beginning to pick and choose.
"Allows the player to sleep during the day... what use is this? Next."
"Can convert surrounding stone into various ores... came too late."
After Zeke’s careful selection, he picked out two relatively useful potted flowers.
One was a flower called the [Bubbell]. However, Zeke preferred to call it a repeater. After hearing a sound, it could perfectly mimic the voice of a creature.
I’ll record a few of the Emperor’s voice lines later.
The other was the [Tangleberrie], which prevented teleportation (TP) within a large radius. ’TP’ is a command in Minecraft that can teleport a player to specified coordinates.
Both flowers were planted in pots made of clay. Placing them inside a backpack would obscure their effects, but holding them in the off-hand would activate them.
