"Stop worrying, I’ll be out quickly. Wait outside and grab anyone that comes out, don’t wait for my order."

Seeing Lu Jinyang’s determined attitude, Gu Chen was concerned but didn’t argue further. As Lu Jinyang said, he was indeed the best choice for the job.

The bar’s décor was like any regular bar, but at the real entrance, two tall men were standing. When Lu Jinyang approached, they stopped him and handed him a cigar.

Lu Jinyang glanced at it briefly before taking it and putting it in his mouth, and one of them lit it for him.

Having served as an undercover agent in the special forces, he had seen many people using this stuff, so he played along effortlessly. But he hadn’t expected such strictness here; you had to seriously finish a cigar before being allowed inside.

Lu Jinyang stood aside, taking puff after puff. He casually glanced around and noticed a few others just like him, waiting to finish their cigars before entering.

Quickly enough, Lu Jinyang finished his cigar and was finally allowed inside.

The lighting inside was hazy, not many people on the stage, but each booth had a few men and women lounging on sofas, some playing with syringes, others slowly mixing white powder into water...

Lu Jinyang withdrew his gaze and walked directly to the service desk. He took out a photo and asked the staff about the person.

It seemed this person was frequently sought, as the staff didn’t even ask his purpose and directly told Lu Jinyang where the person was.

Lu Jinyang pocketed the photo and walked in the direction indicated by the staff, soon finding the place.

But as he appeared in the person’s sight, the person suddenly sprang up, opened the door behind him, and ran.

They took him back to Lu Jinyang’s house and temporarily locked him in the storage room.

After sorting things out, Gu Chen noticed Lu Jinyang wasn’t looking well, his face pale and sweating profusely.

"Jinyang, are you feeling unwell?"

At this moment, Lu Jinyang was dazed, with uncontrollable dizziness yet unable to settle his thoughts, merely shaking his head, "It should be something wrong with the cigar. Later, take people to interrogate and get Old Master Xiao’s whereabouts out of them. Use extraordinary means if necessary."

Gu Chen nodded, knowing Lu Jinyang wanted to resolve these issues swiftly.

"Also, don’t hand the person over to the police."

"Once you gather the people, find a way to take them to the International Waters." Lu Jinyang said before heading upstairs, leaving Gu Chen stunned.
