Infinite Origin Summoner:Rise of Good for Nothing Extra-Chapter 30: Final floor
"Hmm! Interesting."
White Death’s thoughts were no different. For the first time, someone was able to keep up with her speed. To her surprise, it was not some famous awakener but an armored goblin no less.
However, the next moment her eyes narrowed to slits.
"If defending is the only thing that you are capable of, then it’s time to end this now."
Suddenly her eyes widened and an inexplicable look of pain flashed in her eyes.
Out of nowhere, the goblin’s speed had increased several times.
Misery Prime easily dodged White Death’s sword strike and looked at his own two hands in astonishment.
"The master has blessed me with his strength."
Thinking up to this point, Misery Prime couldn’t help but feel a little ashamed. He couldn’t even defeat a woman with his own hands and forced the master to take action on his own.
For others it might not be a big deal, but for Misery Prime it represented his own uselessness. Just as he was thinking, Misery felt a warm and encouraging feeling in his heart, followed by a gentle voice:
"Don’t think too much!"
Misery Prime instantly recognized the voice, and immediately his spirit was lifted.
...
Zarek looked at Misery Prime’s figure with a forced smile. This guy was too dramatic.
Just a moment ago he had dumped twenty points from his mana to Misery Prime’s strength, taking the fellow’s strength well above fifty.
The force generated by such a vast amount of strength was overwhelming.
"Clang! Boom!"
With another attack, White Death was flung backward, blood dripping from the corner of her mouth.
Her eyes were filled with resentment. Only if she was able to use class skills, she would have turned this goblin into an ice sculpture.
Alas, life gave no second chances...
Just as Misery Prime was about to chase after her, Zarek gestured for him to stop.
There was no need to waste time on her. Moreover, he could tell that the girl really didn’t have any ill intention.
So there was no need to go out of his way and create unnecessary karma.
After giving a brief look to Alexander standing shell-shocked in the distance, he started walking with Misery Prime following behind him.
The entrance to the final floor wasn’t far away.
...
Meanwhile, after Zarek left, Alexander immediately went running in the direction where White Death had crashed, his face filled with panic.
Once he was near her, he immediately got to his knees, and just one look and his expression froze. Alexander couldn’t help but swallow his saliva.
The final attack of Misery Prime had breached her defenses and directly struck her stomach, tearing the robe she was wearing. As a result, now her skin, white as snow, was out in the open for all the world to see.
Instinctively, a strange heat rose in Alexander’s heart. He tried to shake his head to get rid of it but failed miserably, and a single question appeared in his head:
"If her skin was this beautiful, how beautiful is her face?"
Thinking up to this point, his gaze couldn’t help but move upward toward White Death’s mask-covered face.
Without even realizing, Alexander once again swallowed his saliva.
Just then White Death moved, her hand moving toward the wound on her stomach.
Realizing just how severe the injury was, a frown appeared on her face.
Stoically she asked, "Do you have a healing potion?"
However, as soon as these words had left her mouth, she shook her head.
What was she even thinking? Healing potions were rare drops, mostly found in the second sequence dungeons.
And just as she thought, the next moment Alexander said:
"What is a healing potion?"
White Death didn’t answer but simply got up and started to walk, her body limping as she moved forward.
Watching this scene, Alexander’s eyes flashed and he suddenly had an idea.
he wasn’t sure how but suddenly he seemed to have grown slightly braver, as such he couldn’t stop himself from asking.
"Would you like me to carry you, miss...?"
As soon as these words had left his mouth, the response came immediately in a single cold and ruthless word:
"No!"
She didn’t bother thinking about Alexander, her thoughts returning to Zarek.
He wasn’t like the rumors at all. The rumors had been describing him as a greedy and lecherous bastard who used his family’s authority to bully the weak—a total good-for-nothing young master.
But however, when he had looked at her now, there was nothing in those pitch-black eyes except cold and calm indifference.
This young master Zarek looked like a completely different person.
However, no matter what, I will get all the information that I need.
...
"So this is the final floor..."
Zarek thought as he looked at the scenery around him. The environment had barely changed—green grass as far as the eye could see.
Misery Prime also looked around in wonder. He had heard countless stories about the final floor, as such he was also incredibly curious.
Before the two could think further, the sound of an intense explosion came from the front.
Feeling the intensity of the explosion, Zarek’s expression changed. Two incredibly powerful beings were fighting ahead.
His steps suddenly quickened. This must be the figure who had cleared all the floors below.
Zarek was curious about such a being. It was bound to be someone extraordinarily famous. Using them, he could deduce about the timeline.
...
Meanwhile, at the center of the final floor, an intense battle was going on. Terrifying explosions erupted from time to time. The floor was completely cracked, blood flowed like rivers, severed limbs and broken pieces of flesh were scattered everywhere.
At the center, one lone crimson-haired young man with a wild smile on his lips—this looked extremely eerie considering the fact that he was missing one of his arms.
While his other arm grasped the head of a hideous creature with three eerily green eyes.
Without another thought, he threw the head on the ground, a single thought in the crimson-haired man’s mind:
"Damn, when will it end?"
Ever since that strange entrance had appeared inexplicably, monsters each more powerful than the last had been coming out periodically.
At first, the crimson-haired man even wanted to enter the strange gate. However, to his surprise, he couldn’t.
