"How you can control this thing so well?" Isa asked.

"It is simple, I just added the symbols that would make it move when it wasn't expanding," Rain said. "There is a symbol basically for each skill and effect that the system knows, so I basically used my knowledge of that to make this happen."

"Without giving details, that doesn't explain anything," Isa frowned.

Rain chuckled slightly, finding the situation a bit funny but recognizing that they still had time to address some issues. He began to explain the mechanics of the platform in simpler terms, likening it to a car in terms of functionality.

The platform operated using a combination of wind and earth magic, just like how a car uses fuel and components to function. Wind magic keeps it levitating at all times, while earth magic maintains its structure and allows it to expand if there's enough mana available.

Rain controlled the mana flow, acting sort of like the driver turning the steering wheel in a car. However, he hadn't disclosed this yet, but anyone standing in the middle of the platform could take over this role. They just need to have the right intentions and knowledge. It's a bit of a snag he hadn't quite figured out how to solve it.

As Rain explained the platform's mechanisms in an easily understandable analogy, Sears Terra nodded in understanding, grasping the basic concept of how it functioned. The comparison to a wagon made it more relatable, easing the understanding of the magical principles underlying the platform's movement and expansion.

Rain sighed inwardly, aware that they needed to find a solution soon. The safety and functionality of their transportation platform were crucial elements in their mission, and any potential vulnerability needed to be addressed before they faced the imminent threat ahead.

Before long, the whole group reached an area where it was snowing… they were a bit far away from the continent, so that showed the progress of the ice dragon's domain. Fighting them in such a place will be even harder.

During that time, Regis spent the time moving around the troops and checking on them making them feel at ease and helping them relax a bit more and do what they needed to do in preparations for the battle. Still, his job eventually ended, and then he approached the main group with his three bodyguards.

"How many reinforcements are we expecting to meet before facing the ice dragons?" Regis asked.

"Around fifteen thousand," Rain said. "They are a bit weaker than your average demi-human soldier, but they have some tricks up their sleeve."

"How are we going to deal with the enemies?" Regis asked. "They are very far away from each other, so we will have to split up as well?"

"That is up to you guys to decide. The people here are your soldiers, not mine," Rain said. "Would you trust the lives of your people in the hands of someone you don't know?"

"... What are you planning to do them?" Regis asked after rubbing his chin thoughtfully.

"While I do believe that keeping them busy might work to avoid facing all of them at the same time, I am planning to fight alongside my friends and family to kill the enemies as fast as possible," Rain said. "Their territory is quite big, so we will have some time before they can regroup."

Rain's primary concern was with the safety of his friends and family. However, he understood that expressing his thoughts openly like might not be the most productive or tactful approach, especially given the tense circumstances they were facing.

Telling his worries about their safety could come across as condescending or overly protective, potentially causing unnecessary alarm among the group as well..

Instead, he opted to rely on logic and strategic thinking to navigate the complex situation they were in. Rain knew that articulating his emotions might not yield the desired outcome, especially when faced with such a critical and potentially volatile situation.

Moreover, Rain could imagine a scenario where the ice dragons might adopt a strategy of regrouping in the center of their territory as soon as the battle stats. This possibility, while founded on his observations and intuition, was speculative at best. However, he refrained from voicing this worst case scenario, as doing so might only increase the tension and anxiety among their group.

"The sea folk, or at least most of them won't be able to fight on land well and against the ice dragons, most of our magic won't be very useful against them," Seadrei said. "Still, most of us can use sound magic and we can use that to increase the defensive abilities of the frontline. We also can use Glutonous Recovery, so we won't have to be protected."

"... I suppose we need to consider our abilities and formations, even before reuniting with the other group," Sealyn said while thinking how they could split all of their forces effecively. "How are the others in terms of skills?"

"I would say that Branden, Esmeralda, Orcis and Lorene's children will be pretty tough and they can lead the charge since they decided to copy my old fighting style," Rain explained. "With Asche and Liss support, they can probably face one of those dragons and win without suffering casualties, at leas their group alone could."

"I suspect that it will be better if we can kill them at the same time… they might be able to sense each other's deaths," Sealyn said while nodding. "How is the situation in the dragons territory?"

"I can't see anything anymore, the snowstorm is too powerful," Regis said.

The situation that the group found himself in was undeniably worrisome, yet he recognized that certain aspects were beyond his control. Rain acknowledged the obvious risks and challenges they faced but realized that certain circumstances couldn't be altered or resolved immediately.

Instead of fixating on the worrisome aspects, he aimed to focus on what could be managed and strategized for the upcoming battle.
