Infinite Paths: The Raging Phoenix-Chapter 969: Preparations
During the first week, people like Rain, Regis, and Esmeralda paid attention to how people were living on the vessel. Since most of the things were solved with magic, it seemed that they had a lot of time on their hands, even their duties like dealing with cultivation and raising cattle were easily done with the help of magic.
"I guess we need to think about that, but it is about to bring the others, we are approaching the extraction points," Rain said when he used the Magic Lens technique.
Rain controlled the capsules from the point that they landed as soon as everyone entered them and brought them back to the vessel, Branden watched that at close range since at some point, he will have to do the same as well. Still, he lacked a bit of confidence since his skills had dulled a bit.
Regardless, the first groups that were mainly the sea folk finally arrived and soon they went to have a meeting with the leaders of the place.
"We have secured a bunch of high quality coral, after staying in that area for one week, we felt alive like never before, so bringing that here will help us a lot," Sealyn said.
"That is good… what about the relics?" Regis asked.
Regis's assistance and guidance in organizing the vessel were undeniably valuable, yet his keen interest in the relics couldn't be hidden, nor did he try to do so. Despite the demi-humans proficiency in creating relics using their magical abilities, there remained a clear dissimilarity between these artifacts and those housing human spirits within them.
The relics formed solely through magic held their own significance and utility, displaying prowess and functions according to the magic-infused during their creation. However, relics that contained human spirits within them possessed an extra layer of complexity and depth.
These relics often held historical knowledge, sentient beings, making them distinct and sometimes, most of the times more powerful than the ones formed solely through magic.
Regis couldn't help but express his intrigue and curiosity about these unique relics that housed human spirits. Their existence and the knowledge they harbored were compelling, and it was clear that Regis understood the value and distinction between the two types of relics.
Despite the demi-humans' proficiency in crafting magical relics, the relics containing human spirits held an allure that seemed to intrigue and captivate his interest more profoundly.
"We found some destroyed ships, the weee quite old and they had some relics in them, but not magic relics," Seadrei stepped in. "Things might show some better results once we explore the southern sea since it was the area of the kraken dragons."

"What about traces of the remaining dragons?" Esmeralda asked.
"We didn't find any, and we searched the entire territory of the sea dragons, at least half of that massive ocean," Seadrei replied. "Seadrei replied. "It might take a while to explore all the oceans in the world."
"Can't you use that technique of yours to look for places with better chances of finding the relics?" Isa asked.
"The Water Lens technique has a great range, but the atmosphere of the world is rich in mana and we are outside of the planet," Rain explained. "While I can find everyone with it, trying to see through with Magic Eyes as well, is difficult because of the mana on the way. It is like trying to see through the body of someone powerful. It isn't possible."
Everyone nodded… things weren't supposed to be that easy when it comes to exploring an entire world. Regardless, Rain was still trying to make things more efficient. He wondered if the relics could help him with that, but they didn't say anything until now.
"Well, it is fine, we don't have to be in such a hurry," Esmeralda said. "One month exploring and searching on the planet doesn't seem like a very long time, right?"
Everyone nodded once again… with that many people on their side, they were bound to make some progress eventually. In any case, after sharing their findings, Sealyn said that it would be nicer to have some means of communication like the relic that Rain gave to Liss and Isa.
The reason behind that was the fact that they kept worrying about things in the vessel while they worked since they didn't receive any messages from them.
"I will make more of those relics," Rain said.
"I can make them and make them better as well, leave it to me," Liss declared.
"It was free, but you are still complaining about the performance… it was a prototype, but still…" Rain furrowed his eyebrows.
"Don't mind that and delegate that kind of work since other things will require your attention," Terra said.
"I guess you have a point," Rain said.
Rain and his family will have to leave in a couple of days to explore the dragon's territory, so it was better to focus on that instead and not worry about anything else.
"About the next group that will leave, I want to take some people with me to search in the northern side of the dragons territory," Isa said. "The land is too big for your family alone to search."
Everyone nodded… Isa was the most knowledgeable person about that territory, after all. if they wanted to get some results, that was the best thing they could do.
"Who are the ones you are taking with you?" Isa asked.
"Van and the others I didn't think yet," Isa replied.
"I would like to join as well, I am not much of a fighter, but those three can help you with that," Regis said. "It will also help for the sake of our image."
Regis and his three bodyguards… that wasn't a bad combination, but it seemed a bit too soon for him to leave the vessel. While there were other capable people there, for Rain, Isa, Regis, and Sealyn to leave the place, a lot of people wouldn't feel at ease.
