Infinite Regeneration In The Apocalypse-Chapter 62: Grinding Radiants With Clones
"Please, man, please! I didn’t want to, they made me! I swear I didn’t want to hurt her!"
Vogue walked up to him slowly, pulled his machete from the dead man’s spine in his way, and looked down at the crying teen with empty eyes.
"Why would I let you go when your death benefits me?" Vogue said simply, and brought the blade down.

The young woman was still pressed against the wall and her eyes wide with fear, trembling as she looked at Vogue covered in blood.
"T-thank you." Her voice trembled as she whispered.
"Thank you so much. Everything is gone, everyone is dead, there are monsters everywhere. "
She stammered as she appeared to be in shock. Her hysterical eyes suddenly stared at the blade in Vogue’s hand.
"You killed them. Y-you killed people. It means you’re are strong. Please help survive. I’ll do anything. I can cook, I can clean, I-I can also warm your bed. Please don’t leave me here alone."
Vogue looked at her with his head tilted. She was probably around his age, maybe a year or two younger. Under normal circumstances, he might have helped. But these weren’t normal circumstances.
"I helped you downs mean I want to help you." he said, turning to leave the alley.
"Please!" She grabbed his arm desperately and begged with tears and snort coming out of her eyes. "I’ll die out here by myself! I’m just a weak woman. Where’s your sense of chivalry? I don’t know how to fight! Please, I’m begging you!"
Vogue snorted and tried to pull his arm away, but she clenched her hands tighter like a maniac.
Vogue expressionlessly glared at her.
"Let go."
"No! You saved me, you have to take responsibility! You can’t just leave me here to die!" She screamed hysterically,
"You have to help me! You have to! I’ll scream! I’ll attract those monsters! If you leave me, I’ll make sure they come for both of us!" Her eyes were now wide open as she laughed while begging as though she had run mad.
Vogue’s hand moved in a blur. His machete immediately decapitaed her head from her shoulders in one clean stroke.
Her body slumped to the ground, as life left her.
"See? You let go yourself didn’t you?"
Vogue muttered as he watched her head bounced with a dull thud and rolled a few feetX finally resting on a dumpster.

Continuing his hunt, Vogue eventually found himself at the Manhattan Mall on 33rd Street and 6th Avenue. The massive shopping complex was a perfect hunting ground, with hundreds, if not thousands of radiants trapped inside the building feasting and multiplying.
Vogue stood before the shattered glass entrance. He could hear screams echoing from deep inside, the building with the sounds of shattering glass and radiants roar.
Vogue severed six of his fingers, watching as they hit the ground and immediately began transforming. Bones extended, flesh grew, organs formed. In less than ten seconds, six perfect copies of himself stood before him.
His clone limit had increased from three to six when he gained the dragon physique. He grabbed six machetes from his backpack as he handed one to each clone.
"Clear every floor and kill everyone you see, including humans. " Vogue implanted the commanded to them.
The clones nodded in perfect synchronization and immediately dispersed, three heading for the escalators on the left, three taking the stairs on the right as they spread out.
Vogue calmly walked into the mall, heading toward the Barnes & Noble bookstore he’d spotted on the directory map. If he was going to wait while his clones did the work, he might as well be comfortable.
Inside the bookstore, which was surprisingly intact compared to the rest of the mall, he found the manga section. Most of the books had been knocked off the shelves he assumed was by people and radiants alike, but he managed to find a few intact copies of series he recognized.
"Oh nice, they have ’Raised by Nine Villainesses,’" he picked up the volume three.
At this moment, fifteen radiants that looked like they were high-schoolers before they transformed rushed at him with terrifying speed when they heard his voice.
Vogue didn’t even put down the manga. With his free hand, he casually activated Falling Sun fifteen times.
His hand blurred through the air, cresting fifteen overlapping marks in the air.
"Whoosh!" "Whoosh!" "Whoosh!"
The marks collided into the fifteen radiants, slicing them into small chops.

Stepping over them, he grabbed a comfortable leather chair from the reading section, and dragged it to the café area.
He found an unopened bottle of expensive vodka behind the café counter, and poured himself a generous glass. Settling into the chair with his manga in one hand and vodka in the other, he began to read while his clones worked.
An hour passed peacefully. The sounds of combat screams and roars echoed through the mall as his clones cleared each floor, as Vogue was engrossed in his manga.
The main character had just learnt his third villainous mother’s secret technique when Vogue felt something through his connection to the clones.
One of them had died.
Vogue didn’t remove his gaze from the comic and simply created another clone, gave it a brand new machete and sent it back into the fight.
Twenty minutes later, all six of his clones died almost at the same time.
Vogue frowned but didn’t react and simply created six new clones and provided them with fresh machetes.
The clones nodded and vanished back into the mall’s depths. Vogue continued his manga again.
Multiple explosions and well as shockwaves blasted through the entire mall. Vogue chuckled when he felt the shockwaves. It seem his clones were going all out.
With the dragon physique, regeneration, infinite stamina and system abilities, they should be able to handle any threat. Just that their IQ needs help.
But in just an hour, all six clones died once again.
