Infinity, The Arcade Age-Chapter 312: A Major Incident
Chapter 312 - 312: A Major Incident
"Yesterday, a malicious explosion occurred in Metropolis. Two terrorists, after an attempted murder, detonated two buildings, resulting in the deaths of over ten police officers and injuring dozens more. The mayor has now officially issued a wanted notice for these two terrorists. Citizens are advised to stay away if they see them and prioritize their safety. This is a report from Metropolis TV."
As the reporter's voice faded, the television screen displayed two images—portraits of Qin Ming and Kasamoto Eri.
Witnessing this, Belger, the leader of the Mad Gear Gang, immediately turned off the television, his expression stern. He rotated his electric wheelchair to face several of his top lieutenants and coldly remarked, "Impressive. Kidnapping and murder in broad daylight no longer satisfy you. Now it's machine guns, grenades, and even bombs. What is this? Have I inadvertently recruited two big shots? Your methods surpass our humble gang's operations."
Hearing Belger's words, Qin Ming remained expressionless. Beside him, leaning against the wall, Kasamoto Eri continued to fiddle with her fingers, not even lifting her head.
Observing this, Belger's eye twitched. Just as he was about to speak, Poison stood up and interrupted, "Boss, we can't entirely blame Hyena and his crew. They acted swiftly to eliminate our troubles. It was good intentions gone awry."
She then placed her hands on her hips and glared at Qin Ming, "You brainless fool! You're even more of a potato than Hugo! The heat is on! Hide immediately! If necessary, flee abroad! Return when things cool down!"
Poison's reprimand was loud and stern, seemingly filled with genuine anger. As Qin Ming's nominal superior, her scolding left Belger with little room to add or punish further.
Belger understood this dynamic and couldn't help but cast a deep glance at Poison. Recently, Poison had been promoted to a high-ranking position within the Mad Gear Gang, filling the void left by Damnd's death.
Initially, Belger thought this was a smart move, as Poison seemed unambitious and, being a woman, suitable for the role. However, upon closer inspection, she had gathered three formidable individuals under her command. Meanwhile, Belger's original trio of enforcers had dwindled, with only one remaining after Damnd's death and Sodom's recent murder.
Although Belger didn't suspect Poison of orchestrating these killings to seize power, he couldn't ignore the shift in dynamics. After all, with her charisma and Damnd's lecherous nature, she could have easily swayed him without resorting to violence.
If Poison really wanted to seize power, why would she bother killing him? A few sweet words would have been enough to make that guy betray the boss.
But having subordinates forming their own cliques was never a good thing, let alone these two newcomers, who were way too ruthless.
God knows if letting them run wild any longer would end up provoking the military one day...
Belger's eyes flickered as he suddenly smiled slightly in his wheelchair.
"That works too. Let's go with Poison's suggestion. Things are getting tense, so you two better lay low. The mayor's daughter, Jessica, will be handed over to Abigail for safekeeping. As for where you two should hide... Metropolis is off-limits for now. Go to Japan. Take a ship."
Having settled everything with just a few words, Belger turned his electric wheelchair and glanced back at the television.
Beside him, a burly man slowly stood up and grinned at Qin Ming.
This was Abigail, one of the high-ranking members of the Mad Gear Gang. He was a massive brute, standing just as tall as Hugo and the bloodlust-driven version of Qin Ming—if not taller.
In the gang, he wasn't just the biggest in size—he was also undoubtedly the strongest!
Name: Abigail

Description: People used to complain about how an idiot with no brains and no real martial arts talent could become a high-ranking member of the Mad Gear Gang—until they took a direct punch from Abigail. After that, no one dared to complain anymore.
A base stat of 70! And in both strength and constitution!
As Abigail grinned at him, his face full of thick, brutish muscle, Qin Ming couldn't help but twitch at the corner of his mouth—even though he had secretly checked this guy's stats multiple times before.
If judged by the standards of a proper martial artist, Abigail was clearly unqualified. His fighting proficiency was only C-rank—not up to par at all.
Not to mention, he was slow. His movements were sluggish.
But the problem was that these weaknesses became completely negligible in the face of his monstrous strength and constitution.
Looking at Abigail's towering physique, Qin Ming had no doubt that if he got caught by this guy, he'd end up like a punching bag—beaten to death, one strike at a time.
In the Street Fighter world, martial artists who practiced Qi techniques were all absurdly tough, capable of taking extreme punishment.
Even that ninja, Guy, had managed to endure countless hits from Qin Ming before finally dying.
And judging by Abigail's sheer size and muscle mass, Qin Ming seriously doubted whether he could even hurt him in a fight!
Belger had managed to keep his position as the boss not just because he was good at business, making money, and expanding influence—but also because of Abigail.
That big oaf held immense respect for Belger, who had given him a chance in life.
With Abigail as his shield, anyone who dared to challenge Belger's authority would have to think twice.
