Inheriting a Lost Bloodline, My First Task is to have heirs?!-Chapter 370 - Dimitri meets everyone

Ioannis had a happy smile on his face as he greeted Dimitri. He then gave me a brief kiss on the lips while putting Iosef on my lap. My father also deposited Ianthe on my lap too since the children hated being apart from each other. Ioannis then sat across from me and Dimitri instead of sitting on my other side so that it would be easier to talk to each other. My father and mother were next to Ioannis while the other four continued standing but this time a bit closer to where everyone was seated.

Ioannis was the first to break the ice and greeted, "It has been quite a while since we saw each other, Dimitri. How has everything been back in Hoffen? How are your grandparents back in Arista?"

After being a father and also being educated by my parents in the proper etiquette of being the main consort, Ioannis has become more outspoken and cordial whenever he is facing others officially. It also adds to the fact that they are familiar with each other, having been living in the same house for a while before he gave birth.

Those few easy questions that he asked Dimitri, have indeed made my new husband relax a bit more. He happily updated Ioannis on what’s been happening in the Academe of Gnosis as well as about my recent marriage with Aurum and the others. He also happily said that his grandparents have been doing well and we even visited Arista before coming here.

Right after Dimitri’s quick barrage of stories and updates, I felt uneasy as if I am being burned alive for some reason. As I looked up, I saw Luxiel, Samir, Altair and Touya looking at me. The first two gave me questioning looks while the third one had an annoying smile on his face that does not reach his eyes. The fourth one looked at me coldly as if the whole place would freeze over at any minute. I guess they didn’t like the fact that I married a new bunch of humans again.

I decided to ignore those threatening stares and leaned over to Dimitri to whisper something into his ear. I simply said, "There is one more very important being that I would like you to meet. He is not here right now since his current situation makes it hard for him to move around too much. We will visit him instead after we eat the dishes my mother prepared."

I leaned back on the sofa after telling Dimitri what we will be doing later. I used a little spell to ensure that only Dimitri can hear what I said. Honestly, I am just messing up with the minds of the other four who are currently glaring at me.

As if on cue, my mother called all of us into the dining hall for a celebratory lunch. The long dining table was covered with different types of dishes inspired by the food in the human world. This is my mother trying to make Dimitri comfortable, knowing that it was only recently that he was deified. He is still not yet used to not eating human food for long periods of time just like how I was when I first arrived in this world.

The meal was delicious but awfully silent except for the occasional sounds coming from the utensils touching the plates. I looked at Dimitri and he does not seem to be too bothered about it. I looked around and everybody were concentrating on eating but I feel that they also have a lot of things running in their minds. I can’t read minds so let’s just handle it when the time comes that they talk to me personally about it.

After the meal, I held Dimitri’s hand and guided him to walk back to the path we took towards the palace earlier in the day. Once again, I chose to walk slowly so he can enjoy the beauty and scent of the flowers. This time, we stopped at the smaller plaza and as we stood in the middle, the ground immediately started to light up, tracing intricate runes on the ground much to Dimitri’s surprise.

Just like how I was the first time I discovered I could teleport, Dimitri close his eyes tightly due to nervousness. I also closed my eyes by habit though I am already used to the sudden shift in the surroundings. After a few seconds, when we opened our eyes, we were in the middle of a vast flower field with a noticeable quaint little hut in the middle next to a humongous tree trunk.

During the time I was away, it seems that Laerad had placed other types of flowers in the flower field, making the colors more vibrant and lively. I am quite sure that he has already felt our presence but just like when I brought Kayden, he did not welcome us personally. It has nothing to do with laziness but more about pride, I believe.

I knocked on the door a couple of times and then pushed it open much to Dimitri’s shock. He pulled me back and scolded me in a soft voice as to why I was opening the door right after knocking when nobody has let us in from the inside. I smiled at him and said it was fine since it is my house too which totally confused him.

I pulled him inside the hut and when he saw what’s inside, I can see even more confusion in his face as to why the space has suddenly became huge compared to the normal door we just came in from. I whispered, "space enchantment" to him then he simply nodded in understanding. I do not know how much he understood really but I am glad that he is quite open to all these new things.

After going through the door, I continued pulling Dimitri towards another door that leads outside. I am quite sure Laerad is in the gazebo, reading a book or napping. As we exited another door, what welcomed Dimitri and I was a wide deep blue lake, a pathway covered with flowery vines can be seen floating on it which leads to a beautiful roofed gazebo that also has the same flowery vines covering its roof and pillars.

Inside the gazebo, I can see Laerad sitting with his back facing us. He seems to be reading a book while enjoying the wind and the beautiful view. We walked carefully towards the gazebo and once we are in, I let go of Dimitri’s hand for a bit and approached Laerad to give him a hug from behind. He looked back a bit and leaned to give me a brief kiss on the lips.

It was very brief and I immediately returned to Dimitri’s side to hold his hand again. Dimitri stared at me in disbelief for a few seconds. Laerad slowly turned around to face us, a smile on his lips as he greeted Dimitri. Dimitri stared blankly at Laerad’s face as if mesmerized by another man’s beauty. Well, he is a deity so that should be expected.

Laerad placed his hand on his protruding belly to support it and then sat on a seat nearer to where we are. When Laerad was only a few steps away, that was when Dimitri’s eyes looked down and noticed that the guy in front of him was pregnant. Laerad followed the direction where Dimitri was looking and he chuckled.

To break the awkwardness, the deity introduced himself with as much detail as he could, "Nice to finally meet you, Dimitri. My name is Laerad and this is our home. I am not sure if Luna has told you but I am a deity and this is my human form. My other form is that of the world tree that supports this world. It was the one you saw standing sturdily behind this hut earlier."

Laerad paused for a bit to check on Dimitri’s reaction but when he saw that he is still calm and not speaking he continued, "I am also Luna’s husband and I am pregnant for the first time in the several thousands of years that I have been existing."

Instead of reacting to everything that Laerad has said so far, Dimitri looked at my direction and asked, "Is there anything else that I needed to know? Just lay it all out for me in one go so I only need to get over all of this shock just once."

I looked at Dimitri and gave him a helpless smile. I answered carefully, "I have already told you that I have a mission that involves me having a lot of children, right? In connection with that, I just would like you to know that Kayden is also pregnant as of the moment. I also have three other mystique husbands that are pregnant as well in another place."

Dimitri nodded his head and as if making sure, he asked again, "Is there anything else that you need to tell me?" I sighed helplessly and replied, "You also know that there is an alternative way for me to have children. Doing it the natural way is what I have been doing so far but I have also tried using the other way so I do not have to take in too many men into my family. I am expecting other children through that other method too. I swear that I don’t have any romantic relationship with their fathers and never became intimate with them."
