Internet Breaking: The Powerful CEO Reveals His Supermodel Wife-Chapter 511: Madness
Inside the hotel.
Ava Sterling felt that she and Poe Vaughn were truly crazy.
What was crazy about it?
It was as if the two of them had endless energy, trying to make up for all those years of being single.
Especially Poe Vaughn, his years of being single far outnumbered Ava’s, he seemed tireless, leading Ava from the bathroom to the room, entangling ceaselessly everywhere.
And he turned off all the lights in the suite, but the streetlights outside shone in, still faintly illuminating their silhouettes.
Especially, this dim light seemed to stimulate something, releasing the deepest desires from the heart, like a beast prowling at night; this late night was its battlefield, its territory, it dominated everything.
Ava’s breathing was erratic, her body soft and yielding, clinging to Poe Vaughn, her nails dug deep into his muscles, accompanying him in this storm of madness, tossing in the waves.
It seemed like no one else existed in the world, just the two of them, they did whatever they wanted, and no one could disturb them.
They followed the deepest desires of their hearts, acting on them freely.
The number of people on the beach dwindled from many to just a few scattered ones, and eventually, not a single person was seen.
It was late, and everyone had gone back to rest.
As the hustle and bustle receded, everything plunged into the deep silence of the night, even the lights here wore a cloak of quiet.
Night was asleep, yet it was also a time of dark growth.
Ava didn’t know how long she and Poe Vaughn entangled together; she only knew that she started out as energetic as him, but in the end, she surrendered.
She even begged for mercy.
But begging for mercy was useless in front of Poe Vaughn, he controlled her, deeply embedding her body into his own. He was forceful, as if pulling Ava into Hell, frenzied within that terrifying atmosphere.
He ignored everything, just holding onto her, no one could take her away.
Not even Ava herself.
Ava cried, then pounded on Poe Vaughn, cursed him, kicked him, like a flower tormented to the breaking point, wavering and about to fall.
But Poe Vaughn still didn’t care, the more she cried, the more ruthless he was toward her.
Kissing her, controlling her, making her only able to let out low cries, like a little lion whose mouth had been covered, seething with boundless anger but unable to break free.
And so, who knew how long had passed.
When Ava felt like she was about to die once more, Poe Vaughn’s terrifying grip on her finally relaxed.
She instantly collapsed onto the sofa, her chest heaving violently, her lips parted, breathing utterly unsteady.
At this moment, she was like a puddle of mud, entirely boneless.
Poe Vaughn held her, nestled on the not-so-large sofa, his chest vibrating heavily like the beating of a drum.
He wrapped her up, holding her tightly in his arms, their bodies pressed together, the heat entwining between them.
His lips fell on her shoulder and neck, against her skin, almost as if kissing her.
His eyes were closed, sweat from his hair dripped along the tips onto Ava’s chest, then trickled down the ravine, disappearing from sight.
Ava’s eyelashes trembled, eyes closed, unable to recover for a long time.
Her mind was even more chaotic, devoid of any coherent thoughts.
Neither of them moved, the scorching atmosphere around them also gradually cooled in this profound silence of the night.
Suddenly, Ava shivered instinctively.
Poe Vaughn’s eyes opened, sensing the tremble of the person in his embrace, and the body he was holding onto began to cool.
He got up, directly picked Ava up in his arms, and headed for the bedroom.
At this moment, Ava opened her eyes.
But only halfway.
She was so exhausted that she didn’t even want to open her eyes, let alone move her phone. She looked at the person holding her, his steps incredibly steady, like the embrace he was giving—so secure.
Such a Poe Vaughn always easily mesmerized her, making it impossible not to like him.
Poe Vaughn carried Ava to the bathroom, gave them a simple rinse, and then lay down on the bed.
He picked up the blanket, covering both of them, while still holding Ava, keeping her in his arms, in his control.
Ava always let Poe Vaughn have his way, she didn’t care anymore.
She thought he might start again in the bathroom, but fortunately, he didn’t.
Ava thought, this person must be tired too.
After such exertion, anyone would be exhausted.
Leaning on this solid chest, inhaling the familiar scent from his body, Ava closed her eyes.
She was both tired and sleepy, completely unaware of what time it was now.
However, no matter what time it was, she wanted a deep, restful sleep, a good rest.
With this thought, Ava stopped thinking and let herself drift into slumber.
Yet strangely, although she was very tired, her mind remained clear, and as the surrounding quietude settled, she seemed to become even more awake.
Ava frowned and opened her eyes.
What was happening?
Exhausted but still unable to sleep?
Ava rarely experienced insomnia, mainly because she was carefree and wouldn’t overthink, so once she lay down tired, she would quickly fall asleep.
This situation seemed to be the first of its kind for her.
Ava felt unhappy, this feeling of being tired yet unable to sleep was quite uncomfortable.
With her fiery temperament, she naturally couldn’t tolerate this feeling.
So, Ava started to move in Poe Vaughn’s arms.
Poe Vaughn held her, eyes closed, his breathing already steady. However, he was not asleep.
He was incredibly awake.
He sensed her movement the moment she started, opened his eyes, and his fingers firmly grasped her waist that was trying to move.
Ava felt the sudden controlled power, carrying a strong feeling of possession. She paused, then looked up and saw Poe Vaughn watching her.
The bedroom lights had long been turned off, but the curtains weren’t drawn, and the large amount of light from outside illuminated everything. She clearly saw Poe Vaughn’s face, including his deeply profound gaze.
Ava blinked and said, "You’re not asleep yet?"
She had thought he was asleep.
"No."
His low, slightly husky voice made one’s heart itch, and Ava replied with an "oh" and stopped moving.
It wasn’t because she feared Poe would start again, but at times like this, hearing Poe Vaughn’s voice made the agitated restlessness that kept her awake vanish instantly.
Her heart became calm.
Staying obediently in his arms, Ava no longer spoke, and Poe Vaughn didn’t say anything either.
He was never much of a talker, and if Ava didn’t speak, he was even less inclined to say anything.
The atmosphere in the bedroom once again settled into tranquility, becoming serene. But perhaps due to a change in her mood, Ava started to enjoy this silence.
She heard the sound of waves crashing against the rocks outside, the distant sound of the sea breeze gently rustling, and if she listened carefully, she could even smell the scent of the sea.
Everything around her became remarkably beautiful, so much so that Ava’s mood unwittingly brightened in this night.
So, she moved again in Poe Vaughn’s arms.
Her hand, now full of strength, rested on Poe Vaughn’s waist, touching his firm muscles as if she were a child playing with something, voicing as she did, "Poe Vaughn, you really aren’t angry?"
