Isekai Journey Of The Magic Archer-Chapter 1193: The heads of the student council
[Eon's POV: ]
"Phew…"
Tens of feathers now lay on the ground with an ice spear of Quin aimed at the creature kneeling before her.
'It was a tough battle.'
After Chry backed off from the fight, the fight continued on with Quin alone facing against the creature.
It was simply a (Blue) ranked beast, and yet the strength that it displayed far exceeded all of their expectations– not only was the creature strong, it was smart enough to implement strategies.
When Chry backed off, it knew the mage was confident enough to defeat him by herself. It also knew there was no way it could escape with Chry having him locked on.
If it tried to make any silly moves, Chry would move even without Quin's permission. He would put as many holes on his body as there were feathers around him.
He knew how strong the two of his opponents were, as well as how even just the mage could defeat him.
Still, it did not give up on his life. It used its feathers in a way that made it difficult even for Quin to use her spells properly.
It utilized the terrain to his advantage and moved them in a sophisticated manner, igniting a battle that went on for a few more minutes.
Quin would have ended it already, but she was intrigued by the creature's powers and stayed to observe what it could do– which was ultimately a mistake.
She ignored the other skills that the creature had since it was only using its feathers. As a mage, she should have been more careful since, by ignoring it, she gave the creature the needed opportunity to cast his restriction skill, which binded Quin for a brief moment.
Her Mana was not restricted, but the sudden restriction of movement came with a hole in her defences.
A few feathers made their way towards her, but, since even Chry was being restricted with a different skill of the creature, he could not come to save her on time.
'It was at this moment…'
She exploded the Mana around her and spreaded it all around her. Then, controlling that released Mana through her innate Mana, she interfered with the Mana that was imbued within the feathers of the creature.
'She severed the connection between the feathers and the one controlling those feathers, making the creature's eyes go wide…'
It was at this moment, when it lost control of its limb like feathers, that it realised he had fucked up.
'The restriction was lifted, and the control over the feathers as well.'
She had won the battle, and so, she was now standing before the creature who, finally accepting his defeat and fate, had fallen to his knees.
[{ "It's the law of nature." }]
[{ "The winner gets to claim everything." }]
[{ "The defeated ones loses their precious possessions, including their lives." }]
It is what it is.
Anna did not like it, but from how we had not spared any creature that we were fighting, she believed this time would be the same as well– that the strong, pretty, and the cool creature would lose its life to them as well.
"Go."
But that did not happen.
"Go to the east."
Quin released her offensive spell, and instead created a hand-like outline with water.
Then, looking the shocked creature in the eye, she picked it up without any warning and threw it to the east with that magical hand of water.
[{ "Hmm?" }]
Anna was surprised by her actions, obviously. She let the creature live even though there was a chance that it would aim for them once again.
The feathers that it had were still here so it wasn't going to have its weapons but it preserved its life. And, the little one was happy to see this sight…

She could feel an unique, ethereal presence from the being. It was strange to her, so she followed the red thing with the sole intention of seeing what it was or where it was going.
The way it was moving was strange as well since she almost felt as if the bunny was skipping space.
To her, it was a strange thing, but what attracted her the most about the creature was the creature's striking color.
It was too red… it was unholy. She did not like it. It seemed like the creature was made of blood, and whenever she saw blood, she was reminded of the past events that she had been through.
She did not like remembering those things. And whenever there were creatures or things around her that reminded her of those times, she would either take those things out completely, or simply get away from it.
Red was one color she did not like, the blood red was something she could not handle, and crimson was a color she just could not endure… she did not like those things, so she followed the creature.
And ultimately, while following the creature, she lost track of where she was going around the academy garden.
"Hmmm?"
She did not look back since she did not have to, but when she glanced back randomly, she did not see the tall orc hero nor the beautiful lady that always followed her around.
Also, she could not feel the familiar, safe presence that looked after her most of the time. It almost felt like she had been lost while going after the small creature.
"Where am I now…?" she wondered where she was at the moment. The trees arond her looked familiar, but this part of the garden was unknown to her.
She could hear the sounds of nature here, if she focused enough, the voices of the students were present some distance away as well.
It was obvious that she wasn't lost in the garden, this was simply a new place for her. And since the bunny went this way, she followed it deeper into the garden.
"It shouldn't be too far, right?" She was searching for the creature with her energy detection ability. She could sense even the smallest of the vibrations within the atmosphere so she knew what was going on around her.
The two that were following her when she got out of the library were nowhere in sight, the teacher's shadow that looked after her was not here either, but she did not find it that unusual. He was a teacher and he would still need his strength when he was doing something importnet.
She did not mind that he was looking after her most of the time since he did not do it all the time. Even he knew she did not like having people keeping an eye on her, so she had never been uncomfortable with it.
This coincidence was not that surprising to her. She did not really care much about any of this anyway.
She simply looked for the rabbit, and while she was doing so, she ended up picking up on a certain scent.
"Hmmm?" She seemed to be familiar with this scenet. She did not know who this scent belonged to, but she could not sense their presence with her senses.
Even her energy detection skill failed to notice anyone.
"What's happening right now?" She did not feel anything strange.
If something was going wrong, she would have already sensed something. But everything was normal, except the scent.
She looked around for the thing or the one this scent belonged to. And after a few minutes of searching, she finally perceived something.
"Hmmm… shoes."
She could hear footsteps approaching from nearby. She still couldn't feel any presence, but the footsteps seemed to be approaching her from the front.
It was strange in a way, but at the same time, she didn't feel alert or anything. She was still calm, and the only thing on her mind right now, was the rabbit that had just vanished.
-Step. Step. Step.
The footsteps were spproching slowly.
She could hear them from around two hundred meters away in this silent place. They seemed calm, and confident.
From the footsteps alone, she couldn't really say what kind of person they belonged to, but there was a certain uniqueness to them. She could feel the level of aura that the person might possess simply from these footsteps alone.
"Is anyone there…?" Eres was not worried right now. She simply called out to whoever there might be in case she was in any danger.
"Hmm?" And, right after her question, she heard the speed of the footsteps increasing a little.
It wasn't a greaat increase, it seemed like the one who heard her voice was approaching her with just as much curiocity as hers.
"Hello there." she heard a voice that she somehow found familiar. And then, when the person that this voice belonged to arrived before her with a little surprised expression, she recoganised why she seemed to have heard this oddly familiar voice.

"You're… Adrian, right?"
Blue eyes so deep for a moment she thought she was seeing the reflection of a spell sphere, hair combed and tied in a way that made them stand out instantly.
Clothes that seemed more attractive than any royal clothing she had seen.
And the distinct unique yet simple look that made them stand out…
The person who was the talk of the entire academy right now, the one who stood out the most with his strange potential ability rank, and the one who had just cleared a dungeon along with two similarly interesting individuals.
He was the very person everyone wanted to get close to or talk with or at least approach in any manner. But most people usually found him unapproachable.
He only hung out with a few people who were just as famous as him.
The angel that was said to have potential to become a monarch, the kitten that could kill you if you even look at her in bad manner, the high human with many summoned creature and a beautiful personality, a wise playboy that she did not like, as well as the couple who were becoming famous…
