ISEKAI? More like I See Crap!-Chapter 356: The Durable Dumbass ( )
"Now that you mention... hmm... yeah, he's just wearing a regular jacket, not even enchanted, clearly not suitable for this environment," Glacia said, glancing at Hazuki.
"And you didn't notice?" Ridan asked.
"Notice what?" Glacia tilted her head.
"Since when can a human punch a dragon in your true form without special weapons?" Ridan exhaled.
"Ah... right."
"And look at how he threw those punches at you earlier."
"Yeah... that's true."
"And now look, you threw a barrage of punches at him. Did you see any bruises on his face or body? Even after he fainted?"
"Huh? That's because you used a barrier skill on him, right?" Glacia looked confused.
"No... I didn't cast any skill on him. He's just naturally built like this."
"This guy survived the hot, scorching desert at day, super cold desert nights. After that, a poison swamp that can even melt mithril. You know he slipped and fell into the poison pool? He just climbed back up naked without any damage on his body, only his clothes, bag, and everything inside melted. You know what he said?" Ridan snickered.
"What?"
"He said, 'It stinks.' Not only that, he slipped into a volcano crater and climbed out like it was nothing. That's why I call him dumb. A dumb human who builds resistance to everything. Believe me or not, if you keep punching him, he'll just get better and faster."
"But my kicks hit him hard. He must have a bruise..."
"No, he won't," Ridan cut her off. "But test it yourself if you don't believe me."
"Oh, really?" Glacia grinned, cracking her knuckles. "Let's see."
Ridan slipped out of Hazuki's body the moment his eyes fluttered open.
"Wha? Where am I?" Hazuki glanced around, then saw the petite dragon girl. "Oh... it's you, shortie."
"S... shortie!?" Glacia charged, unleashing countless punches, rapid kicks, and flying kicks in a furious blur.
"Whoa! Easy there, shortie!" Hazuki blocked some but took most, tumbling into the snow.
"What made you mad? I just said the truth." Hazuki stood up, looking at his jacket, now torn to shreds.
"Ah... now the jacket's useless..." Hazuki sighed, removed it, and threw it on the ground. "Brr... it's cold."
Hazuki glanced around as Glacia's punches rained down on him.
"Hmm? Where's Ridan?" Hazuki scanned the frozen landscape while taking hits, standing perfectly still as he scratched his head.
"Oi, Ridan! Where are you!?" Hazuki shouted, ignoring the barrage.
"Dumbass! I'm on top of your head!" Ridan shouted back.
Hazuki glanced up, Glacia's fist clipped his cheek mid-movement. "Oh... sorry, mate... didn't notice you there."
He looked down at Glacia, who kept her sly grin as she moved in a blur, landing a sharp kick to his head. He barely flinched.
"What are you doing?"
Hazuki scratched his head again and yawned, rubbing his stomach. "Is there anything to eat here, Ridan? I'm hungry."
"Hah, idiot. This is snow ground. There's no way you could find any food here."
"Oh... well... let's get this 'icy leaf' or whatever. After that we head back."
"Oi! Don't ignore me, mortal!" Glacia shouted, but Hazuki ducked and evaded easily, continuing to scan the landscape as if she weren't there.
"Hah! This is why you're dumb, Hazuki."
"Hmm? What now, Ridan?"
"You didn't even notice that girl's been kicking you?"
"Ah... this?" Hazuki casually caught her leg mid-kick, his other hand still in his pocket. He tilted his head. "Oi, kid. Who are you?"
Ridan laughed, then let his spirit form shimmer visibly for Glacia to see, his purple puffball spirit body floating visibly in the air.
"See? I told you so. This human's an idiot. A crazy guy who thinks nothing after getting beaten. The moment he loses interest... heh."
"Oi! Who are you calling an idiot?" Hazuki dropped Glacia's leg. "And don't tell me this kid can see you too."
"Yeah, sort of. Anyway, Hazuki..."
"Hmm?"
"You do remember we met an ice dragon before, right?"
"Huh? We did? When?"
Ridan smirked at Glacia. "Ignore him. He's always like this." 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
"You know I'm still not using my full power here!" Glacia shouted, fists clenched.
Hazuki dug a finger into his ear and moved past her, scanning the icy ground. "So... where's this icy leaf thing? I don't see any leaves here."
"Don't ignore me, mortal!!!!" Glacia shouted, stomping her foot.
Hazuki glanced back. "I don't hit kids. I may punch a girl, but not a kiddo. So since you're the dragon here, care to tell me where this icy leaf is? After that, if you want to continue, be my guest."
"You better remember it!!" Glacia puffed her cheeks, glaring up at Hazuki.
"Yeah, yeah... first we should focus on the icy leaf. Since you're... err... king? Boss? Queen of this land? You must know where it is, right?" Hazuki looked down at the dragon girl.
"Hmmph! Of course I know where."
"Good... care to show it to us? You know when someone's hungry, they can't fight at full power, right?" Hazuki smiled.
Glacia's cheeks turned red as she glanced away. "Follow me!"
Ridan, perched atop Hazuki's head, smirked.
"Oho~ Another kid charmed by my friend here. The ultimate lolizuki!"
"Oi! I'm not a lolicon!"
"Yeah?" Ridan rubbed his chin. "First Ellyn in kiddo form. Second, the two brat girls, human and elf from the orphanage back at Macia Town. And now this dragon girl."
"Oi! You said she's a thousand years old. That means she's not a kid!" Hazuki pointed toward Glacia, who stomped ahead in a pout.
"Hah! Still looks like a kiddo. Means you're a real lolizuki!"
Hazuki facepalmed and exhaled sharply.
Ridan was already jumping up and down on Hazuki's head, chanting, "Loli~ loli~ loli~"
"Ugh! Shut up, Ridan!"
"No way, lolizuki! Ahahaha! This is fun!"
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. So you do know who this girl is, right?"
"Yeah... Glacia. Ancient Ice Dragon. Ruler of all ice lands. And you want to know one important thing?" Ridan wiggled his eyebrows.
"What?"
"She's single~"
"Sigh... what a dumb detail. You know I have a Pinky Promise and I love Ellyna."
"You mean Ellyn~" Ridan wiggled his eyebrows again. "The kiddo form, right?"
"Ugh! Ridan!!!!"
Hazuki's shout echoed as Ridan burst out laughing.
