That just made Evie and I snort while Jacklyn pursed her lips and stared at her roommate for a few moments, her adorable expression causing Yvonne to sigh as she extinguished the pipe and murmured "But I guess I can take a break from it for a bit, at least for today..."

"Speaking of studying, I have to get back and get ready for that test in a few days, so while I wouldn’t mind sticking around..."

Knowing it would get used sometime later today, I smiled and gave her a peck on the cheek before taking my leave as well, letting the two Dogkin enjoy their day off however they pleased while I went to the cafeteria for some breakfast.

A quick meal of pancakes and eggs later I was sitting at my desk in my dorm, looking down at my notes from the week and trying to fill in the gaps of my understanding as best I could, especially for my Enchanting class.

I still needed to get that down to a decent degree since it would be valuable going forwards, but for now just understanding some of it would be steps ahead of where I was at now, which would be enough to keep a good grade here...

I also was brushing up on specific pieces of history, though that was when the door to my dorm opened to reveal one purple haired woman that was definitely here to make me forget about studying.

"You weren’t here this morning."

Just that same flat voice and question delivered as a statement to me yet again, and after a little bit of back and forth Hecate just sat on my bed watching me as I studied, which was a little more difficult now because of that.

When she moved from the bed to my desk I just blinked a few times before leaning back and giving her a little space, idly admiring her from the side before looking back down at my Enchanting notes as she started pointing out a string of runes that I had copied down almost completely correct.

Apparently I had missed a single stroke on one of the runes which changed things quite a bit, and that immediately sent me into a flurry of backtracking through my notes to double check everything else with her to make sure there was nothing else wrong here.

Hecate rarely spoke up directly and instead just tapped on what was wrong, but that was more than enough for me as I kept going back and fixing anything that was wrong, which thankfully wasn’t a lot since that would have shattered my confidence in this class.

She did help on some of the problems that Professor Alexia gave out though, fine tuning some of my answers but not really elaborating that well as she just shrugged or gestured for me to go to the next one whenever she asked.
