Chapter 133: The date

After ten minutes of nervously searching for a simple and beautiful dress. She finally chose a black vintage dress with a printed flower on the side that gave it a simple yet elegant look with matching black heels.

Forty minutes later the clothes arrived and Petal quickly dressed. Now the only thing that is left is how to style her hair. She didn’t know if she should toe it in a loose bun or just let it down. After a good three minutes of thinking. She finally decided to tie it into a loose bun.

Putting on her perfume. Petal checked herself in the mirror before she picked her phone and left the room to find Ethan. He must be ready by now. When her clothes arrived he told her that he will take a quick shower and get dressed.

Ethan was in the living room putting on his suit jacket when he heard Petal’s footsteps coming towards the living room. Turning around. He sucked on a breath as his eyes landed on a beautiful girl in front of him.``What a perfect choice. I can’t find the right words to describe how beautiful you look." Ethan said. staring at her dazzled by her beauty.

Petal offered him a small smile. He too looked handsome in his black suit but she was too shy to say something like this. So she kept it for herself.

He noticed that dark colors suit her skin color so much. He felt that he shouldn’t take her out. He didn’t want another man to see her. He didn’t want anyone to see her. But if he told her that she might be scared of him.

Helping her to wear her coat. He made sure that she’s warm enough until they reached the car.

"Shall we go?" Ethan asked, offering his hand to her and she took it.

Petal watched as his big hand closed around hers. His hand felt rough against hers proving that he holds and uses weapons like guns a lot. When they settled inside the car. Ethan brought a blanket placing it on her lap to warm her legs.

Petal smiled at his way of taking care of her. He doesn’t miss a single detail. From her food to her habits and likes and dislikes. Everything.

Tonight seems too perfect. She thought to herself. She wondered if the future will be like this too. A future where the two of them are together. Happy. She would like that. Petal had grown tired of everything that had happened in her life. The family’s war. The revenge. She wanted all of this to end.

Looking outside the window, PetaI noticed that they were on a road in the mountains. Far away. She could say the lights of the restaurant that Ethan told her about. The more they got closer. The more she had the better and a closer look at the place.

Feeling Ethan’s hands wrap around her from behind she stared at his reflection in the window."Do you like it?" He asked.

Nodding her head. She turned to look at him. Ethan loosened his hands and pulled away.

"Did you reserve the whole place?" She asked, wanting to make sure that he didn’t go overboard.

"No. I know that you wanted it to be a normal date. With people around." He replied by caressing her face with the back of his hand.

Petal sighed in relief. She wanted to have a normal date. Just like any couple." Thank you." She said signaling. Bringing her face close to his. She pecked his lips. It was a very fast peck before she pulled away. Looking at him.

Ethan let out a soft chuckle. "I should teach you how to kiss me as a thank you properly when we get back." He whispered in her ear only for her to hear.

Petal’s face reddened and she rested her head on his shoulder. What he said was true. She never kissed properly. It’s always him who takes the first step. Petal felt Ethan’s hands slip under her dress and she immediately lifted her head, staring at him.

She tried to stop him from going further but he caught her wrist."You’re very soft. Like silk." Ethan said as his hands continued going up feeling her soft skin.

Petal’s breathing becomes shaky. She knew that he’s only doing this to tease her. But her body couldn’t help but respond to his touch. She was worried that the chauffeur might see what they were doing. 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

Ethan now was kissing her neck as his hand caressed the insides of her thighs. He could feel her breathing starting to quicken. "It’s your fault for being too damn cute." He whispered in her ear before he sucked on her earlobe.

Huh!

How is this her fault?

When Ethan noticed that he took the teasing too far. He stopped and pulled away looking at."Was it too much?" He asked as he fixed her coat.

"Sir. We arrived." The chauffeur announced startlingly to Petal.

She stared at the chauffeur who was looking straight in front of him with a blank expression before she turned to look at Ethan who was looking at her with a smile on his face.

"Are you going to stay in the car and skip our date?" He asked the dazed girl in front of him.

Petal glared at him and turned to open the car door on her side but he stopped her. "I wouldn’t be a gentleman if I let you open the door yourself." He said before he got out of the car walking to her side.

Seeing the chauffeur staring at her through the rearview mirror. Petal’s face went red. The car door opened and Ethan offered his hand to her helping her to step out of the car.

The first thing that Petal noticed is the dazzling lighting of the restaurant. A perfect choice. She thought to herself as they walked towards the entrance. Upon their arrival. Petal saw a man in a suit come out of the restaurant walking towards them.

"Good evening. Ethan. My lady." The man greeted them.

"Good evening.Toms. This Petal." Ethan introduced her.

Petal offered the man a polite smile which he returned.

"I’m honored to have you as my guest tonight. Miss PetaI." Toms said." This way, please. Your table is ready."
