I've Become the King of Villains in the Game-Chapter 231 - 176: End of Immortal Realm Instance (Three in One)
Along the path paved with colorful pebbles,
a group of players approached the cabin, their faces lit up with curiosity.
"Indeed, it won’t open,"
Dongyang pushed on the door and probed around but didn’t find any hidden mechanisms.
Bang!
The Horseman swung a giant spoon and struck the cabin’s window, emitting a metallic clang.
The immense recoil numbed the Horseman’s hands, and he stepped back.
"Hiss... It’s unbreakable! And you can’t see inside; it’s pitch-black!"
He exclaimed.
"It’s just like Su Keying said—the cabin is merely a decorative item to us, serving only as a Save Point,"
Polaris said in a deep voice.
He stroked the cabin’s exterior wall, feeling the genuine texture of wood. But witnessing the Horseman’s attack triggered a sense of absurdity in him.
A wooden cottage as sturdy as a metal fortress!
It was profoundly dissonant!
"The task has already indicated completion... but the reward is still frozen. It seems that it will only be settled after this episode ends."
Polaris turned to the others and said,
"We still have one Resurrection chance left; we shouldn’t waste it... Let’s move forward and see what we find."
Dongyang nodded, looked at the other players, and spoke:
"I agree. What do you all think?"
"Okay,"
Chenxi gently spoke.
"Seconded!"
Doghead Gold raised his hand.
The others also expressed their agreement with the plan.
Polaris took the lead, continuing along the pebble path.
The group moved slowly forward.
Wei Yin bent down, picked up two pink pebbles, and handed one to Su Keying.
"Keying, look,"
"It’s beautiful, thank you,"
Su Keying responded, as she wiped the smooth pebble that emitted a faint pink glow, which she very much liked.
"This area feels so dreamlike, completely different from the gloomy and oppressive forest earlier…"
Wei Yin remarked.

"Yeah, it’s like a dream,"
Chenxi turned, saying with a smile.
She also bent down to pick up several pebbles, seemingly wanting to collect them.
However, not long after, the pebbles in the female players’ hands began disintegrating on their own, slipping through their fingers like fine sand.
New pebbles steadily "grew" on the ground.
"This…?!"
Chenxi raised her eyebrows.
"Things from the Immortal Realm can’t just be taken away… I suspect only the spoils of war that belong to us can be freely controlled,"
Polaris noted, observing their actions and speaking matter-of-factly.
The others nodded silently upon hearing his words, their understanding of this realm deepening.
Su Keying and others looked at the stones on the ground with slight regret.
"If only a stone monster would pop out… then we could take a few,"
"Haha..."
Wei Yin and Honey Pomelo laughed.
"So, have we left the forest area and reached the next unknown region?"
The Horseman pointed at the sky, asking with a puzzled expression.
The environment here wasn’t made up of endless tall trees. The sky wasn’t obscured by leaves, offering a wide, clear view that lightened everyone’s mood.
Yet, what was strange was the absence of the Moon and stars in the night sky, although it still emitted a faint glow.
"It should be… However, technically, we are supposed to have entered underground. This area should be beneath the surface,"
Dongyang answered.
The players couldn’t make sense of the changes within the Immortal Realm, everything seemed illogical yet was very much before their eyes.
"Just like Chenxi said, we are as if in a dream,"
Polaris shook his head.
As they walked and talked, they soon discovered something new.
Next to the pebble path, there was a large protruding rock with a black cat sitting on top.
Its emerald eyes were sizing up the group.
"Hey! There’s a black cat here!"
Doghead Gold suddenly exclaimed.
The players stopped, and several female players even wanted to go forward to pet it, but Polaris stopped them.
"Be careful, just observe for now,"
Polaris cautioned.
Trusting him, Su Keying nodded.
The players cast Scout towards the black cat and found that it was indeed just an ordinary cat.
The players breathed a sigh of relief, but Polaris was still somewhat concerned. In the chat room, he expressed his intention to test things out himself and asked the others to step back.
"— Brother Polaris, let us do it,"
Doghead Gold and Forget No Taboo exchanged looks and decided to move forward to scout for the team. After all, they were currently afflicted with the "Flesh Collapse" status, practically disabled.
"Kitty, cute little kitty..."
Doghead Gold wore a self-perceived kind and friendly smile as he slowly approached the black cat.
"Don’t be afraid, I’m not a good person... Ah, spit!"
Forget No Taboo was more straightforward, making tsk-tsk noises similar to teasing a dog, while waving his fingers to catch the black cat’s attention.
Watching the two, the group frowned in disbelief.
The black cat watched the two approaching men, motionless, its eyes as if looking at two idiots.
When Forget No Taboo’s fingers wiggled in front of the black cat.
"Are you two idiots?"
The black cat suddenly spoke.
"!!"
The group was momentarily stunned.
Doghead Gold and Forget No Taboo’s movements froze.
The black cat’s expression turned fierce instantaneously, its mouth opened wide, and the corners split back to the ears, displaying serrated teeth.
It thrust its head out swiftly like lightning and snapped off Forget No Taboo’s entire hand.
"Ah!!"
Forget No Taboo screamed. Discover more stories at novelbuddy
