Yi was taken aback. He turned to the Mermaid Queen and asked, “You’re Chang’e?” No wonder I felt something when I saw her earlier.

The Mermaid Queen was intimidated, but it was beneath her to hide behind a man and draw hatred for him. She took a deep breath and said, “It’s a misunderstanding. I’ll explain things to you when it’s all over.”

“All right.” Yi didn’t pursue the matter. It was enough for him that she was Chang’e.
