King of Titans and Dragons-Chapter 67 - 66 Monsters Everywhere
Chapter 67: Chapter 66: Monsters Everywhere
Chapter 67 -66: Monsters Everywhere
“I’ve heard of that rumor too.”
“Same here.”
“Bullshit!”
“Just look at Muria right now. He’s clearly a purebred Titan! How could he be a hybrid? It’s obvious he’s purebred.”
“Exactly, which makes me certain that Muria is a true Titan.”
…
Muria smirked at the speculative comments from the Titan and the exotic beasts. His smile became a bit rigid. Beside him, Heloise was amused since she knew the truth about Muria’s lineage.
“Roar!” At this moment, a “big cat” with white wings on its back, squatting on the ground, growled. “Be quiet! It’s not a rumor. It’s a fact.”
“Troy, what nonsense are you talking about?” A green scaled Giant Peng, stationed on a Four-tusked Giant Elephant, scolded.
“I’m not talking nonsense,” the white “big cat” stood up, took a few cat-steps over to Muria, and took a sniff. “His scent is different from a pureblood Titan. It’s mixed with a faint fragrance, a scent only available in golden Dragons.”
“He is a hybrid of Titan and Dragon.” Finally, the white “big cat” made its conclusion.
“Troy is right.” Three silver giant wolves also sniffed at Muria. “Muria has a faint scent similar to the golden dragons from our ancient memories.”
“How is that possible?” A Titan teenager stared at Muria in disbelief. “How can he look like a hybrid?”
“You don’t need to argue anymore,” said Muria, interrupting the argument amongst the exotic beasts with extraordinary bloodlines. “My mother was indeed a golden Dragon. I am a hybrid of a Titan and Dragon.”
“A hybrid of Titan and Dragon?” The white “big cat” looked at Muria, a trace of disdain unconsciously appearing in its eyes.
Having Dragon blood was a noble thing in the outside world. But here, even the strongest golden Dragon bloodline among all metallic dragons, was considered the lowest.
“Bloodline of Golden Dragon! That’s slightly weak,” Atrean scratched his head in annoyance upon hearing Muria’s admission. “But that’s alright, Muria. The bloodlines of Titan and Golden Dragon would make you impressive, but it’s still your own hard work that will determine your ultimate achievement. Heritage is not the key determinant of your success.”
“Atrean, could you wait for me to finish talking before you comment?” Hearing Atrean comforting Muria, Heloise couldn’t help speaking out.
“How could you think Lord Ansalor would choose an ordinary Gold Dragon as a mate?” Heloise pointed at Muria. “His mother is a dragon, but an ancient dragon. Do any of your bloodlines surpass this class of Dragon Race?”
Hearing Heloise’s words, the gaze of the Exotic Beasts, who possessed noble bloodlines, shifted to Muria, filled with respect. Even an ancient White Dragon was not to be underestimated. As a result, the disdainful expression in the white “big cat” Troy’s eyes disappeared.
“Cough, cough.” Hearing Heloise’s words, Atrean coughed a few times, his face blushing.
“Moreover, do you guys remember the Epic from eight years ago who broke into our Titan Islands?” Heloise asked again.
“I heard from my father that a Dragon King intruded. Could it possibly be?” Gasps of surprise turned towards Muria.
The creatures present were very intelligent and could make connections based on certain facts, such as Muria having the bloodline of a Golden Dragon, or that the Titan who was protecting their clan land fought only once and hasn’t taken action since.
“Ahem, well, that’s my maternal grandfather,” said Muria, feeling slightly embarrassed under the collective gazes of these special beings. He shared that his maternal grandfather was the Dragon King Dimos.
“A Dragon King maternal grandfather and an Epic Titan grandfather, haha, who in our clan land has a better bloodline than Muria?” A teenage Titan exclaimed in amazement.
“Actually, there’s someone whose bloodline can match with Muria.”
“You mean the one from the Blazing Sky God Race.”
“Indeed, it’s fair enough to compare.”
… Muria’s heritage caused astonishment among these Titans and exotic beasts, but not too much jealousy because their own lineage was not significantly inferior to Muria’s. Each of them could rely on their lineage to reach legendary status without much effort.
“Haha, Muria, I take back what I just said,” Atrean laughed, not caring about his earlier embarrassment. “I eagerly wait for you to break through to the Soul Intent Level. With such an outstanding bloodline, you will definitely be a formidable contender.”
“Howl, Atrean, we don’t have to wait for Muria to break through to Soul Intent.” A giant silver-white wolf stood up, letting out a battle howl and displaying its unguarded battle intentions in its eyes.
“Muria, come fight. Show me the strength you possess as a descendant of the Epic Titan and Dragon King!” A green-scaled Giant Peng flapped its wings and took to the sky, stirring up a gust of green wind.
“Hey, step aside. Muria and I are both at the Golden stage three, it’s most appropriate for me to fight him.” A winged, white “big cat” roared, its eyes intently fixed on Muria.
“Fight me! Muria, we are of the same kind.” A Titan with lightning and storms brewing around him approached Muria.
“This…” Seeing the exotic creatures and Titans, who were just chatting yet now itching to fight him, something within Muria seemed to awaken. He became excited, but his gaze still turned to Heloise, seeking her opinion.
“Why are you looking at me?” Heloise raised an eyebrow, “Fight! Don’t you wonder why Gerald’s martial skills are stronger than yours? It’s because he fights with these guys every day. Combat is the best way of cultivation.”
“Alright, I understand.” Muria looked at the group of eager Exotic Beasts and Titans in front of him, his body surrounded by Golden Thunder and storms, “Who’s first?”
“Of course it’s me!” The white “big cat” roared, its four paws dilating and it vanished like a white shadow.
“Boom!” The moment Muria saw the “big cat” disappear, he didn’t hesitate to retreat. From where he previously stood, a large pit exploded open, out of which the “big cat” emerged, looking at Muria with an imposing gaze.
“White Tiger!” Muria looked solemnly at the “big cat”. From the moment he first saw it, he recognized its identity through the knowledge inherited from his Dragon Race: it was a super monster capable of fighting a Legendary Ancient Dragon head-on once it matured.
Only these types of powerful creatures are tamed by Titans and become their companions. Therefore, all the Exotic Beasts in the Titan Clan Land, without exception, were of this calibre.
The white tiger becomes a legend upon maturity, but the one fighting Muria now was merely a slightly adorable White Tiger cub.
“Roar, no one is to interfere, anyone who wants to fight Muria, wait till I finish.” The White Tiger Troy roared at the surrounding Exotic Beasts, then turned to Muria, who had just dodged its attack.
“Rest assured, no one will interfere with your battle.” The battles that took place in the Titan Clan Lands were one on one among creatures of the same level. There was never a case of many against one; this was a pride originating from these powerful creatures’ bloodlines.
After the White Tiger Troy took the initiative to attack Muria, all exotic beasts and Titans automatically assumed this to be a battle between Muria and the White Tiger. No one would intervene.
“Whoosh!” A faint sound of breaking air. Muria watched as the White Tiger disappeared again, its speed was too fast— his dynamic vision could only barely capture its shadow.
“Zi! Zi! Zi!” The sound of flesh being cut open. This time, Muria attempted to dodge, but couldn’t evade completely. An intense sensation of pain reached Muria’s brain. He looked down to see four rapidly healing cuts on his arm.
“Muria, you’re no match for me.” The White Tiger Troy, revealing its form, raised a paw. Between the fluffy tufts of its paw were snow-white claws dripping with light golden blood. “You can’t even dodge this level of speed.”
“Don’t get cocky, Troy. Muria had been living with a group of giants and some Five Colored Dragons. He lacks experience in fighting creatures at our level.”
Heloise spoke from the side, and then she scolded Muria: “What on earth are you thinking? You must put all your energy into a fight. When you face Troy, you shouldn’t hold back, bring out your true form and fight with all your might.”
“…” Muria remained silent. He knew Heloise wanted him to put on the Dragon Armor, as the defensive power of Dragon Armor would prevent Troy’s claws from tearing him apart in one stroke. But, she didn’t know him well enough, he had a better form to deal with the White Tiger.
“Roar!” A deep and long Dragon Chant sounded. To the surprise of the Titans and Exotic Beasts, Muria was enveloped in a golden Dragon Flames. Then a six-horned, heavy-scaled golden giant dragon appeared.
“Is that… the Dragon King Crown?” Atrean looked surprised at the six winding horns that extended backward on Muria’s dragon-form head.
“Not the King’s Crown, it’s a bit different. This is the symbol of the Dragon King’s lineage.” A giant turtle, its shell resembling a mini mountain range, carefully examined Muria’s dragon form before speaking.
“Wow, Muria really has the blood of the Dragon King. He can even take this form.”
“Interesting, having two bloodlines allows him to freely shift between the Titan form and Dragon form. I really want to fight Muria right now.”
…Muria’s Dragon Form garnered exclamations of surprise from both Exotic Beasts and Titans. These Exotic Beasts, who have bloodline inheritance, were far more knowledgeable than the giants and Five Colored Dragons on Taiji Island, where Muria lived.
Muria’s Dragon Form not only indicated his potential to become a legend, but it also hinted at his significant opportunity to step onto the Path to Epic in the future.
“Come on! Little kitty.” The dragon-shaped Muria opened his mouth full of dragon teeth, playfully taunting the puzzled Troy the White Tiger.
“Roar, I knew something was off about the way you looked at me from the start, you bastard. You are treating me like a cat.” White Tiger Troy growled, “I am a White Tiger, a noble White Tiger.”

As he spoke, Troy vanished again this time, while Muria still didn’t dodge. But, “Clang!” Sparks splashed about, and a screech rang out. Troy’s claws couldn’t rip through Muria’s dragon scales, only managing to scrape off a shallow groove.
