Kimmy found a lot of information about Cain from uncle Daniel. She could not believe that Cain had already had his eyes on her for such a long time. She was Cain's first love if she would interpret Uncle Daniels's story.

She could not help but inwardly squeal at that thought. Then she realized how stupid she was all this time for leaving Cain like that on the day of their wedding day. The man who loved her almost unconditionally all those years up to now.

Kimm unconsciously touched the necklace she wore then the ring hanging in it. Cain was waiting for her to wear the ring on her finger, and he was even to wait more no matter how long it would take.

'I'm so stupid…' Kimmy mused while thinking of those wasted years that she could have been happy with Cain's arms if she had only given him… their arranged marriage a chance.

'What are you waiting for, Kimmy? Do it!' her inner self cheered her. Kimmy's face blushed. She looked at uncle Daniel who had almost finished his tea. She was grateful that she decided to stay with uncle Daniel and they got the opportunity to talk with each other about Cain like this.

"Cain will be here shortly," she informed uncle Daniel.

"Ah, yes, but I'm too sleepy now to wait for him. I will go to bed first. Ah, getting sleepy this early is like an oldies routine and then expect us to wake up so early too," Daniel commented with a chuckle.

"Oh, right. Let me walk you to your bedroom, Uncle," Kimmy offered. It was still early, still more minutes before eight in the evening and it was uncle Daniel's usual sleeping pattern.

Daniel nodded, so Kimmy stood up and pulled his wheelchair to walk uncle Daniel into his room. He had a personal caregiver who already stood by his bedroom door to take over Kimmy in sending uncle Daniel inside his room.

The caregiver opened the door and Kimmy let him grab the wheelchair from her.

"Wait," Daniel said before entering the bedroom. He looked at Kimmy and said, "I really hope you and Cain work things out this time, Kimmy."

Kimmy smiled at him and whispered, "Don't worry, Uncle."

Kimmy then signaled the caregiver to send uncle Daniel in then she closed the door when the two entered the bedroom. 𝙛r𝚎𝐞𝑤𝚎𝗯𝗻𝗼𝐯e𝚕.𝒄𝐨𝓂

She could understand uncle Daniel, a father's heart who honestly looked after his son's emotional welfare. Ah, she was jealous to have a father like uncle Daniel, but uncle Daniel was also like a father to her already.

She had a very pleased and wonderful smile as she turned around and headed towards her room. As soon as she was inside her bedroom, the first thing Kimmy did was walk to the telephone table and dial the security at the gate. She instructed the guard to inform her as soon as Cain's car arrived at the gate.

She had a mischievous smile as she prepared to give her boyfriend a surprise. She never felt this excited her whole life. She immediately had a quick shower and cleaned herself well. She put on perfume as well before wearing sexy lingerie.

She then touched the necklace on her neck while staring at her reflection on the vanity mirror. Kimmy inhaled and exhaled, then moved to remove the chain. She grabbed the ring and stared at it for a while before she put it on her ring finger.

"It fits perfectly. It's so beautiful," Kimmy whispered while staring at the diamond ring. She was sure Cain would be thrilled once he noticed that she had already worn the ring on her finger.

She smirked while she thought of a way to hide her hand so Cain wouldn't be able to see it just yet…

As soon as she was ready, Kimmy immediately went to Cain's bedroom and waited for him on the bed. She smiled as she raised her hand and once again stared at the diamond ring on her finger.

Yes, she finally wore the ring because she was ready to marry Cain. She did not want to let that beautiful and one-of-a-kind man go in this lifetime. She finally conquered all her insecurities and fears because of Cain's patient love for her and she would not waste any opportunities to be with him anymore as his legal and lawful wife.

She was getting impatient that Kimmy dialed Cain's number.

"Yes, my Princess? Missing me too much?" Cain said as soon as he answered the call.

Kimmy chuckled and said, "yeah, how did you know?"

"Hahaha. The traffic is killing me but I can take another route on the next street," Cain informed. It was rush hour already so the traffic was really heavy.

"Hmm, alright. Drive safe, alright. I will be waiting," Kimmy whispered.

"Got it. I love you, my Princess," Cain said from another line.

Kimmy opened her mouth to answer him but quickly closed it since she would love to say it personally first instead of a voice call.

"Ah, I miss you so much. I will be waiting… Byebye," Kimmy answered instead and quickly ended the call.

Cain smiled and he even hummed with the music inside his car as he excitedly drove fast back home, knowing Kimmy was there waiting for him.

He had a smile that never left his face though he was alone. Everything just felt perfect and right now, all he had to do was wait for his dear Princess to wear that ring on her cute little finger.

"Ah, the suspense is killing me. I hope she wears it tonight." Cain mumbled.

He took the other route with no cars around and traffic. That particular road was so dark and eerie that Cain suddenly regretted taking that turn.

He was driving quite fast when a person suddenly appeared on the road in front of him. Cain had to move the steering wheel to avoid that person, and he lost control of the steering wheel.

There was only a loud crash that filled the whole darkness of the road.
