Kiss the Scumbag-Chapter 137
When Winston first got out of the car and realized he had arrived at Delight, he felt a quiet relief. Thank goodness, at least the family kept their promise to me.
Delight was safer than anywhere else. Even if Yujin had been treated poorly here, at least he wouldn’t have been in danger. That was Winston’s only consolation.
I have to find Yujin quickly.
How worried must he be right now? Maybe even crying. I have to hurry, hold him, and tell him it’s okay. That I’m safe now, so don’t worry. That I’m here to protect him.
I have to say it.
Strangely, the house was quiet. Even the usual servants were nowhere to be seen. Winston felt puzzled but pushed the question aside. Finding Yujin was more important now.
...Huh?
Without thinking, he looked up. Winston saw someone climbing the stairs. It was Yujin.
“Yujin...”
He tried to call out, but his breath caught and he failed. Panting, his shoulders rising and falling, Winston looked up again — but Yujin’s figure was already gone. Without hesitation, Winston headed for the elevator.
Ha, ha.
It seemed he had briefly lost consciousness. A short bell rang, and the elevator doors opened. At the same moment, a strong scent of pheromones filled the air. It was his father’s scent.
...What is this?
He couldn’t think clearly. Leaning on his crutches, he staggered forward. He had come here chasing Yujin, yet what he saw was utterly unexpected. Why did I get off here? This floor held my father’s room.
A chill ran down his spine. Only then did he realize why the house was so silent. Why nobody was around in the mansion.
Harold was releasing pheromones.
The servants had all fled, fearing mutation from the extreme alpha pheromones. They must be hiding somewhere until his rut ended.
Could it be that...
Winston felt cold sweat trickle down as he struggled to take each step. The one his father was rutting with...
No, it couldn’t be. A voice deep inside denied it. Surely the omega rutting with him wasn’t Yujin. He must have been mistaken. His longing had tricked him. Surely my Yujin wouldn’t... no way.
...No way that would happen.
The door slowly opened. Winston stepped in as if hypnotized. The pheromone scent thickened, almost nauseating him. But it wasn’t just the extreme alpha scent. Mixed heavily with it was the deep pheromone scent of an omega.
And Winston saw them — two naked figures entwined on the bed.
His eyes wide open, frozen stiff, he couldn’t even blink. In his frozen gaze, he saw his father raise his head. Golden eyes filled with pheromones and lust fixed on ❀ Nоvеlігht ❀ (Don’t copy, read here) Winston. Then the man below grabbed his father’s cheek. Winston clearly saw him pull Harold into a kiss, the slender long arms wrapped around his father’s back.
The room spun. How could this happen? Because of the pheromones? Right, Yujin was an omega, so he had no choice but to be like that under his father’s pheromones. This can’t be real, absolutely not...
“What are you doing? Get out now!”
His father’s furious shout rang out. Still, Winston couldn’t move. He should run and pull Yujin away, but the shock paralyzed him. As he stood dazed, Yujin suddenly turned his head. Their eyes met. Yujin looked at him.
“Yujin.”
Winston barely called his name. Now that Yujin had seen him, he must have come to his senses. If I reach out, he’ll take my hand. Think about it, Yujin. You hated my father. You cried in my arms because you were scared of him touching you...
“Hu hu hu.”
Suddenly, Yujin laughed. Winston’s face, once so beloved when smiling, turned pale. Yujin hugged Harold and rubbed his face on his shoulder — a habit he always did with Winston, now done to another man.
To anyone.
Did he do that?
At that moment, Winston clutched his head and let out a piercing scream.
“...Turn, Winston!”
The continuous calls barely brought him back to consciousness. As his blurry vision focused, familiar faces appeared — his family.
“Winston, are you okay? This is why we tried to stop you...”
Lady Katherine dabbed her eyes with a handkerchief, sobbing softly. Winston, blinking dully, tried to sit up but groaned and collapsed back down.
“Don’t overdo it, the shock must’ve been severe.”
Gordon spoke with uncharacteristic thoughtfulness.
“You understand now, right? That bastard was deceiving you.”
Winston’s eyes were still full of torment. Maybe he was dreaming. Maybe he was still in the hospital...
But the scene before him was undoubtedly his room. Seeing the familiar surroundings where he stayed before leaving Delight, he reconsidered.
Is this the dream? Or am I dreaming within a dream?
As he denied reality, Gordon continued.
“Can I tell you what happened to those guys who attacked you now? They’ve all been caught. They confessed that Yujin invited them into the house.”
Winston’s brow furrowed deeply. Still doubtful, Gordon pressed on.
“It’s true. There’s also testimony from the guards. Think about it — how would those guys get into such a secure mansion if someone hadn’t let them in? The guards let them in because Yujin invited them.”
Gordon pulled out his phone from his jacket pocket and showed Winston the screen.
“Here’s the proof.”
Countless exchanged messages filled the screen. Winston stared without blinking, and Gordon added.
“This phone belonged to one of the captured guys. Look at the messages — Yujin sent them, right?”
The chat was full of endless lewd conversations and photos. Unable to bear it, Winston turned away. Gordon pocketed the phone and continued.
“That bastard was lying to you all along. A lot of the family’s belongings went missing too. You didn’t know? He was selling them through those guys. He pretended to be innocent and uninterested in money with you, but that was all an act.”
“...Why?”
Winston finally spoke.
“Why would Yujin deceive me? I would’ve given him all the money he wanted.”
“Because you liked that side of Yujin?”
Gordon shrugged and asked.
“Didn’t you fall for his innocent look? He acted clueless so you wouldn’t get tired of him. It’s not hard, right? That slut who’s slept with every man in the world was acting like an innocent fool in front of you.”
Confusion filled Winston’s face. He had seen and heard everything himself but still couldn’t believe it. For the first time, Mrs. Campbell spoke.
“It’s good you found out now. It came at a high price... but what can you do? Every lesson has its cost.”
“Who knows what lies that bastard will tell you next?”
Following his mother, Gordon babbled on.
“He might lie about being pregnant. Those con artists have obvious tricks.”
“Even if that’s true, so what if it’s Winston’s child? Don’t be fooled, Winston. That’ll be a lie too.”
Katherine chimed in, but Mrs. Campbell gave a stern reprimand.
“If you didn’t impregnate him, it’s impossible. If that idiot pulls that scam, it just proves we were right.”
She was right. If Yujin were pregnant, the child couldn’t be Winston’s. Maybe it was Yujin’s final test. For Winston too.
Mrs. Campbell’s tone softened as she spoke to the silent Winston.
“This time, meet a woman who suits you and start anew. Poor thing, bad memories have to be washed away with better ones.”
That had been her wish for a long time. Because of Yujin, Winston had always refused, but now he could say nothing. His mind was filled only with memories of his father and Yujin rolling on the bed. If he could, he wanted to rip out and crush his brain. Falling into a deep sleep again, when he woke, his heart had hardened cold like a stone, unlike before.
