Last Divinity: The Advent Of Dreams-Chapter 47: Nuclear Project
The two vacuum bombs together had the power of a rank 2. Unfortunately that was the limit of his gunpowder.
He knew deep down he can’t make anything stronger even with more gunpowder, he can’t even make stronger gunpowder.
If he infused it with stronger mana then mana would surpass the gunpowder defeating the purpose.
Instead he would just have a rank 2 attack with a wider range. Which meant he had to work on nuclear energy.
Next on his list was a nuclear energy, for that that he had already collected all the necessary material he needed.
The only thing left is to create a nuclear reactor, the second layer had an abundance of uranium.
The nuclear reactor will produce plutonium as a by-product and then he’ll use it to create implosion type bombs.
He could use uranium to make the the bombs but it seems like making enriched uranium would be inconvenient.
Plus he can use the nuclear reactor as a power plant to produce energy for their daily use.
He felt a hand tap his shoulder, he has been too lost in his thoughts he didn’t even notice the battle was fully over.
They looked at him for what to do, he ordered they retrieve as much usable parts of the monsters as possible.
They asked Sam what can and cannot be used besides the meat of course. They worked all night and only came back when the sun was about to rise.
He went back to finishing the micro chips he was making. After than he went to talk the chosen leaders about last night.
Viona was still sucking that he had all the dravals killed with bombs and didn’t get a chance to fight them.
He apologised so they would start the meeting in peace or she would’ve acted out like a child.
It was strange how the mature woman he met when they first got here had turned into this moody teenager who throw tantrums.
" So what do you think?" He asked while looking around the table. Drago was no longer there.
There had to be only one chose representative of the new people and he chose Samantha.
He claimed these meetings bored him and he didn’t understand most of what was being said.
Drago was the same as Garo, they were the big guys who while not stupid preferred more straightforward things.
Samantha was the first to answer, " To my knowledge they never travel in such large groups."
Everybody nodded already aware of that and she continued. " Meaning there must be a reason behind it."
Viona clicked her tongue, " Get to the point you old witch." She was really annoyed, these meetings already bored her and Samantha was dragging them even further.
Samantha smiled without being offended, she hasn’t spent a lot of time with Viona but she was good at reading people.
It’s the reason she trusted Drago with the safety of her people even though she was a stranger.
She could tell that Viona was strong, both physically and psychologically but when she felt safe and secure her childishness reveals itself.
It was as if she had her childhood stolen from her and now that she no longer needed to be the strongest she let that inner child come out.
Samantha looked at Khali, she could tell Viona’s sense of security did not come from the God Khaladrel but this who claims to be his servant.
Viona like everybody here believed if the sky was falling he would be the one to hold it up, they did not even realise it themselves.
But their beliefs were more on him than on Khaladrel himself. She turned her head and looked at Viona with a smile.
" Patience is virtue little girl, as I was saying, there must a reason for and I have two theories."
Due kept quiet and looked at them, they looked back and remained like that for a dozen seconds.
" OH BY THE GREAT GOD GET TO THE POINT."Viona unable to handle it anymore shouted at her.
Samantha giggled, Khali could tell she was messing with Viona, this woman was brave to piss of this unstable bomb of a woman.
Both literally and metaphorically because Viona was hot, ’ Wait, why did I think that.’ as a God finding a human hot was strange.
The very concept of sexual attraction should not exist to him, his mind suddenly drifted and he started having weird thoughts about the women around the table.
He started feeling things he used to look down on as disgusting act of lowly beasts, ones he even criticized his sister for making necessary for breeding.
" By Gaia this feels great." He said that outloud without realising. He saw everybody giving him strange looks.
" What? I’ve never felt this before." They raised their eyebrows. Samantha giggled and coughed.
They didn’t know but how could she not, she used spirit to spy on him, he knew of course but didn’t mind.
According to her spirit he was very horny right now. She wondered how he just had an erection in the middle of a meeting.
" Back to topic." She drew everybody’s attention back to herself. " As I was saying, I have two theories.
Which are, they have something drawing them here, the only possibility could be the presence of the God.
The second theory is that, we were just in their way of migration but this is unlikely because I’m my short years I’ve never heard of Dravals migrating."
Viona clicked her tongue and laughed under her breath. Samantha looked at her with disapproving eyes, " Something funny little girl?"
Viona couldn’t hold and laughed out loud, " Short years? What are like a hundred?" She laughed even harder.
Samantha shook her head and pretended to be angry. " Is that how you talk to your elders, also I’m not that old."
Sebastian clapped his hands, " Alright if they’re not migrating them would that mean they’re.."
He didn’t finish but he didn’t need to because everybody was thinking the same thing as he was.
" If something could make them run in fear then...." Khaki whispered saying what everybody was thinking.
He realised he might need to speed up his nuclear project.
