Last Ruler Of The Empty Throne-Chapter 112: Principle of Domain: Thank you
Immediately, he returned from the ’Mind world’, something appeared on his hand.
It was,
[RANDOM VOUCHER: USE ON ORB TO GIVE DESIRED SKILL. USABLE ON ORBS FROM A SECOND REALM]
The random voucher he had gotten right before the 11 heads incident, he had actually anticipated then of using the voucher to get the next skill in the series ’Sun’.
And now, it was going to happen.
With this, he would fulfil a requirement needed to advance to the next realm. ’But she didn’t have to.’
Jon had totally forgotten about the possibility of the ape having a core or an orb. But it turned out it actually dropped an orb, and she gave it to him when she clearly wasn’t meant to.
Actually, he was more thankful because, looking at the requirements again, though he didn’t even know how he was going to match a third realm, he still felt the first one was the hardest of them.
No, he knew it was, and that was probably the reason he got the voucher in the first place.
Reading the voucher again, ’It said it gave a desired skill, so that means it will give me sun.’ After giving a little bow to the direction Amelia disappeared to, he smiled and used the voucher on the core.
A blinding light then covered the voucher and the orb. The light was more intense than even the best of treasures or orbs he had gotten to date. However, because he was growing stronger alongside he got stronger treasure, it still felt the same way when he got the changing rod he had.
After about ten more seconds, the light died down, and now, looking at his hand, only the orb remained.
’It worked?’ He began to smile.
Then, without hesitation, he used the orb, and a familiar old-looking scroll appeared before him. And without looking at the description, he learnt the content in the scroll.
Again, another blinding light covered him, this time, however, this time it lifted him a little off the ground. ’Hah...’ Jon really basked in the feeling of finally getting the next in the series.
As he had already known previously, ’Moon’ wasn’t the best in combat. If he didn’t have skills like his Martial skill, or his One strike, he didn’t think he would have been this strong, or rather, he would have already died along the way.
And just from his description of the sun, it was surely going to be an attack type. Then the light calmed down, and with a deep smile, he looked at an empty space as if waiting for something.
And that something really showed,
[YOU HAVE OBTAINED ’UNIQUE SKILL’ PRINCIPLE OF INSCRIPTION]
And that something made him frown deeply, "What?"
He couldn’t even get to complain when an intense pain wracked him immediately. He immediately clutched all around his body, trying to feel where the pain was coming from.
Well, considering the pain of almost dying, this wasn’t as bad, but it still hurt him.
Thankfully, he had the pain tolerance skill. It was a passive skill that went into effect when a certain condition was met, and in this situation, when he was in pain, it would take effect.
However, that didn’t stop him from grunting a little. ’What now?’
He was already not liking the skill he got, and now, he was feeling pain very similar to the one when he got the ’Soldier’s Physique’. But the pain wasn’t even in his mind now.
’I desired the ’Sun’ skill, so why am I getting this.’ He wracked his brain as he tried to think of solution. ’What did I desire?’ he asked himself the question again. ’Did I really desire that skill?’ He really thought again. Then he asked himself another question, ’What did I want?’
As he had said, what he wanted was a place where they could live the way they wanted. A place where his close ones wouldn’t be able get threatened.
So did he really particularly need ’Sun’ for that. The answer was no. Even if he got the ’Sun’ now, he didn’t know when he would get to start seeing third realm beings and that meant he would have to wait until then. But what he really desired was a way to create a safe place now, not later, the ability to defeat any monsters that might come their way now, not later.
That was what he really desired.
’Haa...’ He sighed inwards and finally accepted that fact. That meant he would have to wait a bit longer to get the ’Sun’. Suddenly, the pain he had been ignoring all this while suddenly vanished.
’Hmm...’ he stood straight to check his body, for some reason his body felt lighter as he adjusted his body. Now looking at his body, he saw what looked like an inscription glow and fade away.
’Wait, it said inscription.’ He then remembered that before the pain, it said something about inscription. And as if planned, the message came up,
[PRINCIPLE OF INSCRIPTION (UNIQUE): A FORM OF QUALIFICATION TO USE ITS POWER FREELY.
FIRST INCRIPTION: ALL STATS+ 1000, PRINCIPLE OF DOMAIN
SECOND INCRIPTION:???
THIRD INCRIPTION: ???]
’What?’ his eyes immediately widened as he saw the screen. His feeling of loss form the ’Sun’ suddenly vanished as he saw it.
’All stats...’ He trembled at the sight he was seeing. After everything that had happened, only his mana stats had gone about a thousand and it was still just a little above, and now he was suddenly getting a thousand in all stats.
It was simply incomprehensible, and he couldn’t deny it again. This was his desire, this was what he wanted, that power that could make him stand tall for his close people.
And the next word, ’Principle of domain’. He already had an idea of what a domain could be, he had read novel enough to know, however this wasn’t a domain.
To some it might be useless because it was as it said, it was a principle of domain. Basically, it was how to form a domain. However, it was different for people like Jon who could create skill by themselves. So, what did that mean, it meant Jon could use this knowledge to form a domain.
Honestly, it was like giving wings to a tiger. Jon was already plenty strong with all he had gotten, and this added to it would just make him so powerful.
And to all that had just happened, he just laid on the ground and laughed.

Unknown to him, Amelia was high in the sky, above the cloud watching his situation.
She was so conflicted of what to do, she knew this was a big issue and had to report to her faction head at soon as possible. But did she want to, the answer was no. She felt like they could become great friends, and she was going to just throw all of that away just because of duty.
Sure, duty was a good thing, but who said Jon was actually among the clan. He just knew where his parents where, and from the looks of it, he wasn’t on good terms with them.
Actually, she was just trying to give herself reasons to not report the situation. So, she waited to see the situation.
She closed her eyes when she saw the blinding light covering Jon. She really hoped he wouldn’t get the skill, but they were talking about desire here and she couldn’t fight against that.
However, after a while, she couldn’t hear any sound of excitement or anything like that, so she opened her eyes to figure out the problem. Lo and behold, Jon didn’t get the skill, he actually got something else.
Then a faint smile bloomed on her face.
’Thank you,’ that was all she muttered before she disappeared.
...
Back inside Jon’s room,
He stood up with a now calm face. Now, he was ready to face almost anything might come their way in this second evolution.
It was time to make others able to also face this situation.
With that thought in his mind, he changed his clothes and left the room.
