Chapter 483: Walking Two Dogs with Ethereal Chains

After defeating Blitzcrank, Luocheng and Lin Dong quickly rushed the creeps toward the opponents’ towers.
It was about time to take down the towers at the bottom lane. If they could tear them down, it would be much easier for them to hunt the Dragon. Seeing the both of them reach his tower, Guan Langjie’s Twitch hurriedly fled for its life.
Meanwhile, Da Luo’s Dr. Mundo had been ganked by Zhao Tinghua’s Monkey King. Tinghua was coming in strong at Da Luo, hitting him with his Ultimate right away. He seemed to have decided to keep on with the momentum until Da Luo’s defense on the upper lane had completely broken down, and this was a good move.
Team Skycrown’s only real offensive champion in the early-game was Mundo. If he could stop Mundo from growing stronger, Team Skycrown’s lineup could then be weakened and taken on by Wukong and Renekton.

Luocheng was finding every opportunity he could to attack Langjie and Jupiter, kicking up a storm of blood at the bottom lane, while Tinghua was rocking up his own version of a hurricane at the top lane. They had the same idea in mind—to force one of the lanes’ defense on the opposing side to collapse.
Tinghua was not in a hurry to hunt the Dragon, instead, he kept hitting the enemies at the top lane while guarding the Blue Orb at the middle lane. Xie Yi was much stronger than Wu Sen, thus, whether one was able to acquire the Blue Orb or not could determine which side was stronger.
Orianna was a terrifying foe to take on in teamfights. If one allowed her to kill more than 200 creeps and acquire her equipment, taking on Orianna would be a hellish task!

As time ticked by, they finally had entered the mid-game, and each side had started to show increasing signs of ganking.
Zhou Yan knew that he could not do much to aid the top lane, and so, he shifted his attention to the middle and bottom lanes.
“Heads up. I’ll lure Twitch over.” Taking a glance at the Twitch that was cowering beneath its tower, Zhou Yan alerted Luocheng and Lin Dong.
Then, Zhou Yan swiftly moved between the wards and zipped toward the opponents’ towers at the bottom lane. Twitch was aiding the creeps and hitting the oncoming minion wave, not anticipating Lee Sin to show up.
Dragon’s Rage!
In just one kick, Lee Sin had knocked Twitch out of the attack range of the tower. Luocheng’s LeBlanc then came out of her hiding and unleashed a set of skills on the poor Plague Rat.
Finally, Lin Dong arrived to deal the finishing blow!
“D*mn it! They’re aiming at me again!”
Langjie was so pissed off that he could freak out and descend into insanity on the spot!
0/3/0
Things were not looking good for him. His creep score was 50 creeps less than Lucian—Lucian, The Purifier, had a decent score of 4/0/2. Their DPS were not on the same scale at all.
Almost as though he was unwilling to concede defeat, whenever Team Skycrown bagged themselves a kill, Tinghua’s Wukong would trash a tower at the top lane or force himself forward to slay Da Luo’s Dr. Mundo.
Up till now, Da Luo had been slain a total of 4 times already. Although his Mundo had been taking down as many opponent minions as he could, his kill count was still much lower than Twitch’s and Lucian’s.
Two champions—one of them was an ADC while the other was a top-laner. They were both occupying crucial spots on the map, and still as of yet, it was quite difficult to see which side had more advantages.
Well, if one were to be picky, Team Skycrown might have a bit more advantage due to the income they acquired from the Dragon.
A few moments later, Team Skycrown had destroyed the second turret at the bottom lane, sending their minions straight into the inner sanctums of their opponents’ base.
No matter how you looked at it, destroying the bottom lane’s towers were much more important than destroying the ones at the top lane. This was already far into the mid-game, thus, killing Baron Nashor could grant them a great advantage. If they could take out the bottom lane’s tower, the opponents would then be forced to retreat to defend their base. This would buy Team Skycrown some time to kill the Baron.
Even if they ignored the Dragons, the opponents would still be forced into a passive stance near the dragon pit due to them wanting to hunt the Baron themselves.
Luocheng and Lin Dong started to engage with their opponents near the Dragon right after sending the minions to the opponents’ base.
Nevertheless, Team Sky was still a fairly experienced team. They did not make such an amateur mistake especially after being on the receiving end of Team Skycrown’s “Moving Castle” strategy.
Hence, they had moved straight to the Baron pit, sacrificing their bottom lane entirely.
When the camera panned over to Baron Nashor’s lair, the two opposing teams of champions had already started to exchange blows.
Suddenly, on the other side of the lair, Renekton wielded its massive blade and leapt straight into Team Skycrown’s formation.
Team Sky was going in on the offence first!
Thanks to Tinghua, Renekton had already been developed a lot, thus, a set of combo landing on his sturdy body only scraped off a few bits of health from him. It was pretty much the same as tickling him gently.
At the same time, Tinghua’s Wukong suddenly vanished into thin air!
Luocheng began to feel anxious.
He was not worried about Renekton’s sturdy defense or thick pool of HP—the darn crocodile could not do much damage after all. He was more worried about Tinghua’s Monkey King.
With the Spirit of the Elder Lizard and Black Cleaver, Wukong could penetrate their armor with ease, and the second Wukong used his Ultimate, it was almost certain that Orianna would use her Ultimate as well. They could not risk that happening!
Luocheng swept his eyes around the surrounding area, trying to locate Tinghua.
Wukong, the Monkey King, was a famous choice for a Jungler. There were many other champions that were much better than him at ganking but they still chose him. Why? Because they could use his Warrior Trickster skill to ambush his enemies stealthily. During a team brawl, a skilful Monkey King would make you stand there, pondering over his next move.
Silence. Yes, he had to Silence Wukong before the latter could unleash his Cyclone!
Paying full attention to finding Tinghua, Luocheng suddenly realized that he had made a very fatal mistake—he had stood too close to a bush, and Tinghua could very well be crouching near the darn bush right about now!
Just as Luocheng was about to move away, the Monkey King leapt out in front of him!
Sure enough, Tinghua had locked his eyes on Luocheng for quite some time now, and as soon as he had gotten close enough, Tinghua had quickly cast his E-skill, Nimbus Strike, on the latter!
Of course, he also knew that Luocheng had great reflexes, thus, he was not going to give him any chance to Silence him and quickly unleashed his ulti after pressing his E!
Countless strikes were let loose with the Monkey King’s staff! It was as though his staff had split into several copies and were striking everything in their paths! Everything that was struck was sent flying away!
To ensure that his attacks hit more targets, Tinghua had Flashed toward Lin Dong and Wu Sen right after attacking Luocheng.
His main targets were, of course, not Luocheng.
After all, Luocheng was just a Support. His real targets were the Mid and ADC!
Not only that, Tinghua’s Wukong had The Ball on him, and upon seeing this, Luocheng felt as though hundreds of tonnes of weight was pressing on his heart.
If Orianna unleashed her Command: Shockwave right after Wukong’s attacks landed, their ADC could be slain almost instantly!
Under these circumstances, Lin Dong would not be able to do anything at all. Dashing forward by using an enemy as a stepping stone… no one could foresee and evade that!
Lin Dong’s Lucian was sent flying after being hit by Wukong’s staff, but luckily, Wu Sen’s Lulu was able to come just in the nick of time to cast Wild Growth on him, giving Lucian some breathing space and opportunity to retreat.
It was chaotic. There were attacks and skills flickering all over the place, in the Baron’s lair, bushes, and even the hills. It was quite difficult to distinguish friend from foe!
So… what could a Support possibly do while all this was happening? Especially when he did not know where his allies were?
Well, the first thing he needed to do was to not attack his enemies. It was no use to try taking down an enemy amidst this chaos. No. The first thing he needed to do was to locate his team’s ADC and to see if the ADC was being attacked.
A Support was not tanky. Unless you were Leona or Alistar, you should always reserve some skills for self-preservation and aid the ADC. Never talk a stroll during a teamfight or you would be slain in seconds.
Like the ADC, a Support should always fight cautiously. There was no need to be a hero, instead, just wait patiently until the enemies’ attacks and skills were unleashed first, then find an opening to counter back.
In short, always stand near the ADC and stay on the defensive!
Lin Dong had killed a lot, making his equipment the best amongst the team.
Luocheng’s main responsibility now was to ensure that he did not bite the dust.
It was quite obvious that Renekton as well as Wukong was aiming for Lin Dong. Despite having a buff from Lulu, it was still quite difficult for Lin Dong to survive until his skills’ cooldown was done.
Seeing the large crocodile inching closer toward his ADC, Luocheng quickly cast his Q-skill, Sigil of Malice, at Renekton. Then, he tethered the Butcher of the Sands with Ethereal Chains!
This would in turn Silence Renekton for 1.5 seconds and then Root him for another 1.5 seconds.
At the same time, Luocheng Mimicked his Ethereal Chains and aimed them at Wukong!
Although Tinghua tried to evade them, his Monkey King still got caught and tethered by LeBlanc’s Ethereal Chains.
From afar, it looked as though LeBlanc had shackled up two ferocious beasts using her chains… it was quite hilarious to look at!
“Very nice! Fighting Hawk is now walking two dogs using his Ethereal Chains. This has stopped Team Sky from instant-killing his team’s ADC!”
LeBlanc, her Ethereal Chains, a chained monkey and crocodile. Indeed, this looked like a beautiful magician was taking out two dogs for a “walk”.
