Leave Me Alone, Big Brothers! [BL]-Chapter 107: Not Going Home
The school bell rang. Zane stood next to Nathan’s desk.
Their classmates, who were used to them, just smirked. Their assumption that they would become enemies was actually the opposite. Who would have thought that the new boy in their class would actually make Zane seem normal and willing to interact with others now?
Zane himself felt the difference in how they treated him. It was much better, some of them even greeted him in the morning. Also, when going home, something like this had never happened before.
He didn’t expect that this change would warm his heart and make him feel more comfortable in class.
"Nathan, Zane! Bye!" The students began to disappear one by one.
Zane looked back at Nathan. "So, you will go to Perlich’s house? You sure?" he asked worriedly.
"Yes. I don’t want to go home with a new bodyguard. I will protest until Louis comes back."
"Well, you know what will happen. They will call my father. They’re sure you will come home with me."
Nathan looked at Zane, serious. He hadn’t thought of that. "Zane, please. Don’t tell them. Can you do that for me? Just say you don’t know."
Zane looked at Nathan, a little worried. "I don’t trust Perlich. What if he does something to you?"
Nathan shook his head. "Oh, he’s big and strong, but I’m sure he’s not evil."
"You never know. His family are loan sharks. They are evil. I’m just worried."
Nathan smiled. "Please, don’t worry. I’ll ask Nael to come with me. At least if something happens, we’ll both face it together."
"Nael? That stupid kid?"
"Zane, he’s my twin, after all. Even I don’t accept it. He’s not that bad, though."
"Idk. Whatever. If you need anything, please call me directly. Put my number as emergency."
"My brother already set his name as emergency. But sure, I’ll call you. Don’t worry. Enjoy your time!"
Zane didn’t say that his relationship with his father was bad, and that this would be his first dinner with him since he was a teenager. So he wanted to see what his father would do. He was sure his father felt guilty, and he wanted the man to make an effort for him.
Zane nodded. "See you tomorrow."
Nathan stood up. "See you!"
He was about to walk to Nael’s class.
But the boy was already waiting for him in front of the classroom.
Nathan was a little surprised to see the boy standing there. "I was just about to go to your class."
Nael grimaced. He had seen Nathan in the cafeteria today, but didn’t dare approach him. "Lorenzo was very worried this morning. I feel sorry for him. Let’s go home."
Nathan shook his head. "No. We will go to Gabriel’s house. You promised to help me get Louis back, right? We already planned this. Don’t tell me you’ve changed your mind now."
Nael looked anxious. "I know, but I feel sorry for Lorenzo."
"I don’t care. Will you go with me or not? If not, never tell them where I will go."
Nael gulped. "Are you serious? Alex will be very angry if we leave without Lorenzo."
"I don’t care. I’ve told him many times, I only want Louis."
Nael was torn between carrying out their plan and making Alex angry, or going home with Lorenzo and being a good boy.
Nael sighed. If he went home, he would only see the house in an uproar over Nathan’s departure, and he wasn’t good at lying.
"I’ll go with you. I hope Alex doesn’t kick my ass," said Nael listlessly.
"Before he kicks your ass, you’d better pretend to faint. He won’t hit you, I’m sure," Nathan advised.
He knew Alexander was very annoying, but the man wouldn’t hurt them. At least, that’s what he believed.
When they came out of the locker room, Gabriel was approaching.
Nael stood behind Nathan, feeling apprehensive. All the students were afraid of Gabriel. He was so big and tall, and quick to anger.
But he saw how the boy treated Nathan, which reduced his fear a little.
"I can ask him to come with me, right?" Nathan asked.
Gabriel stared intently at Nael. Then he nodded. "Yes. My mom will surely prepare a lot of food. I’ve messaged her that you will come after school," he replied.
Nathan looked at Nael. "Turn off your phone."
Gabriel walked briskly in front of them toward the side gate of the school. This relieved Nathan because they didn’t have to leave through the main gate and meet Lorenzo.
A black car was parked outside the gate. Gabriel headed there.
The man in the car seemed surprised to see Gabriel arrive with the two Salazar’s son.
He narrowed his eyes to see more clearly.
"Shit! Why did Gabo bring them here?!" he cursed in panic.
He had been asked to change cars, and yet the two boys were still coming toward them. If they saw him and panicked, he would get another warning.
The man rummaged through the car to find a mask. Or anything. But he couldn’t find one.
And they were getting closer.
"Shit! What am I gonna do?!" he screamed in panic.
Gabriel waved at the car and invited his two guests to get in. He opened the back door of the car for Nael and Nathan.
When they both got in, they were shocked to see the man behind the wheel.
So was Gabriel. He stared in surprise. Instead of Lars, the man who was supposed to pick him up, he saw a man with his face covered by a ski mask.
"What?!" Gabriel exclaimed.
The man immediately tried to calm them down. "Hey, hey! It’s me, Lars. I just feel so cold."
Hearing that familiar voice, Gabriel immediately calmed down. He looked at Lars with a furrowed brow. "You’re even shirtless outside in the snow, how can you feel cold inside the car?"
Lars made up various excuses. "I don’t feel good today."
"Weird. Let’s go!" said Gabriel, not wanting to make a big deal out of Lars’s strangeness.
