Legendary Architect of Apocalypse-Chapter 158: What would you do?
The six arms statue was holding six objects in its hands, which included a sword emitting a cold light ready to cut through any obstacle in its path.
In the second hand, there was a bloody rose, with the droplets of blood on its petals glistening in the dim light. The third hand held a small bell, made from ancient bronze.

The fourth hand of the statue possessed a scroll that was made from some beast's hide, whose aura was yet to completely fade. In the fifth hand, there was an axe which was the second and only clear weapon that the statue possessed.
These five were the objects selected by the five youngsters who were here before Elias. They even looked quite pleased with their selection when they landed back on the ground.
"Go ahead, kid. We left one for you," the boy with the axe told Elias and pointed at the sixth item that was still with the statue.
"They left it for you? Just look at his shamelessness! It's clear that they could only take one object! Otherwise, these selfish people wouldn't leave even a speck of dust behind for you. You should be grateful."
Astralious slapped the boy who had spoken, despite knowing that he couldn't actually connect.
'I know. This probably has something to do with the reason they couldn't go forward.' Elias watched Astralious go past the boy, who didn't even know about his presence.
He started walking towards the statue and picked up the last object, which was a small pocket watch. The hands on the watch didn't move, and the time in the clock was frozen.
"Tch, he didn't even thank me. What an arrogant child," the boy who had told Elias to take the pocket watch, rolled his eyes.
He thought that Elias was going to thank him, or at least look at him like an idol since they were his seniors. In reality, Elias didn't even show even the slightest reaction.
"Didn't you hear that he came from some no name insignificant family? Can you really expect manners from him? We can't completely blame him." The girl with a blood rose in her hand, took a whiff of the scent, almost getting drunk on it.
"That is correct. All that matters is that he is here to fill the numbers." Another boy brushed his fingers across the sharp frozen blade of his sword.
"The more ignorant he is, the better it is going to be for one of us." A girl held the beast hide scroll in her hand, and prepared herself for what was to come. "After all, he might help one of us pass through at the cost of his own life."
Once all six objects were taken from the statue, the sound of rock rubbing against rock echoed through the chamber. The statue slowly opened his eyes, revealing pupils that weren't made from the stones like the rest of his body.
The statue glanced at the youngsters, and every person that he observed, disappeared without being able to offer any resistance.
Elias was the last person to disappear when the statue landed his gaze on him. Elias didn't resist either, and let the spatial force surround him.
"The Eyes of Ancient Beast Taimut. It's been such a long time since I saw it," Astralious mumbled, noticing the eyes of a beast that was as rare to find as it was a phoenix or a dragon.
The spatial force took Elias within its embrace, and teleported him into the space unknown.
In the space, there was only white as far as his eyes could see, with no walls, no ceiling or even a sky in sight. It was just an endless white.
"So you are the one selected for me. I can't believe my luck." A voice came from the distance, feeling extremely relieved. "I was a little worried that it might be one of the others. It would've been more troublesome with those cunning bastards."
"Do you know where we are?" Elias asked, glancing at the slender girl in the distance who was holding a beautiful blood rose.
"This is a temporary space created by the eyes of Taimut." Before the girl could say anything, Astralious answered Elias based on his past knowledge.
"This ability was what made Taimut so dangerous. It's similar to your shadow domain, but it's more of a condition based realm. If I'm not wrong, the condition to activate it was to take the six objects."
'If there was a condition to enter, then there must be a condition to leave this place as well?' Elias asked Astralious.
"Although I don't know which condition the owner of Ice Phoenix Flames had kept, it most probably has something to do with the girl and the items in your hands. You must stay extremely wary of her."
"We are inside a test of the tomb. After we finish it, we would be able to leave," the girl answered, surprising not only Elias but also Astralious.
In this world, information was knowledge. She didn't know that Elias had a Constellation Spirit, so she could have kept that information to herself, instead of telling him the truth.
"Is this girl an idiot?" Astralious pondered.
'If she managed to survive in this academy for such a long time, then she most probably isn't an idiot. Whatever she tells me, will be only to her advantage. That's the one thing we can be sure about."
"How do you know it?"
'Just a hunch.' Elias thought, and maintained a friendly facade on his face before interacting with the girl further.
"Senior Sister, how do we get out of here?" he asked the girl. "Do you know anything about it?"
"You don't look scared, even when you are trapped here." The girl moved, and in a single step, she covered hundreds of feet of distance to appear before Elias. "You are very interesting, Little Brother."
"Little brother, what would you do if I tell you that the only way to escape this place is for one of us to die?" she asked, touching Elias's chin to raise his head.
