Eternal Challenge.

The grand competition had truly drawn an overwhelming amount of excitement and attention, especially with so many top players from Immortal Legacy gathering in one place. It dominated social media discussions and was frequently covered on television, becoming a daily hot topic.

And yet… all of that was lost on Leon. He only showed up when it was time for his matches, then vanished again, consumed by his responsibilities that refused to wait.

His life had become a never-ending cycle of movement, leaving no room for even a moment of rest. Sometimes, he wondered if he was pushing himself too hard. But at the same time, he felt like he still didn't have enough time—there was always more to accomplish, and he was nowhere near done.

Leon walked alongside King, heading toward the stadium where his next event awaited—The Blacksmith Competition. It was bound to take up a significant portion of his day.

Having King beside him was a rare relief. Normally, all eyes would be glued to Leon, but today, the presence of his bodyguard divided their attention. People hesitated—unsure whether they should approach or greet him.

So this was what it felt like to finally use his wealth for something useful. Just hiring a single bodyguard had changed his life dramatically. Should he take it further? Maybe hire ten more? Surround himself from all sides until no one could even see him?

There was also an interview scheduled for later—something Leon was honestly tempted to skip. He had already turned it down three times before, but it seemed he wouldn't be able to avoid it any longer. Worse, it was a talk show-style segment hosted by a well-known figure in the Immortal Legacy community.

Wouldn't it be easier if they just conducted the talk show inside the game?

That way, he could sit there in his Invincible Paragon Armor, his face completely hidden behind the helmet. No need to fake a smile just because a camera was pointed at him.

Leon and King finally entered the participants' lounge, where rows of seats were lined up. A few of his friends were already there, chatting amongst themselves.

Then, a man with blond hair and sunglasses waved at him.

It was Maylon.

Leon and King joined him, settling in to watch whatever match was currently taking place that day.

The real reason Leon had arrived early at the stadium this time was because he wanted to discuss a few things with Maylon. That was why, the moment he sat down beside him, everything around him—the noise, the excitement of the arena—instantly faded into the background.

"Any progress on your journey? Have you found any trace of the Dragonkin?" Maylon asked, getting straight to the point.

Maylon was the kind of person who disliked small talk—one of the reasons Leon enjoyed discussing things with him. Their conversations were always direct, focused only on what truly mattered. Maylon had a sharp sense for filtering out unnecessary details, making every discussion efficient and worthwhile.

"Not yet…" Leon replied in a low voice. "But I did come across a high-level Epic-grade Wyvern roaming around."

He paused before asking, "So, do you have any important updates?"

Maylon leaned forward slightly, clearly eager to share his information. "I got a report from my scout—someone spotted Dragonkin in the Central Continent."

"The Central Continent?"

The fact that Dragonkin were already considered extremely rare made this a significant revelation. And the last known sightings of Dragonkin had been on the Western Continent, particularly in the same places they had once lived. That alone had raised countless questions.

Because… According to history, their race had been slaughtered long ago by the High Elves. It all tied back to how the High Elf Queen had once hunted down the Dragon Princess.

And yet, despite everything, Ivana had somehow survived. She had lived in hiding with Gia until the moment Broken unlocked her true identity—right when there seemed to be no way out in their battle against Focalor.

"In large numbers?" Leon asked.

"No, just one… and it was spotted inside the High Elf castle," Maylon replied.

Leon immediately turned to him. That information did not sit right with him.

"Shouldn't the Dragonkin hate the High Elves? Then why would one be there?"

"I think this is a similar case to how there's a dragon in the High Elf palace, right?" Maylon pointed out.

Leon nodded.

The High Elf Queen had a dragon serving as her guardian—a creature even rarer than Dragonkin. No one truly knew how many dragons still existed in Yunatea.

One thing was certain: Ivana was still alive, still carrying the royal bloodline of dragons. What that meant for Yunatea's future remained an open question.

"Dragons," Maylon continued, "after being nearly wiped out, their royal family was slaughtered—leaving only the Dragon Princess alive. After that, the remaining dragons were enslaved by the High Elf Queen. And that's the reality we're dealing with now."

That was why the High Elves continued to dominate—not just in the Central Continent, but across others as well. The mere presence of their queen instilled fear everywhere.

For two reasons:

One, her Blessing as the Pride Champion, which gave her the ability to alter reality itself.

Two, the fact that she controlled the dragons.

Leon exhaled slowly, processing Maylon's words. "Are you saying that after wiping out the Dragonkin, the Queen enslaved the survivors—just like she did with the dragons?"

"That," Maylon said, "would be the most logical explanation."

Leon sat in silence, deep in thought.

What he was really considering was whether it was worth it to search for the Dragonkin in the West Continent, especially if there was a chance they were affiliated with the High Elf Queen.

And even if he decided to go after them, how long would it take? How many weeks—months—would he need to search the vast forests and mountain ranges for any trace of the Dragonkin?

Even with his Flying Golem tirelessly scanning the area, it was still a slow process. It could take forever.

Should he build more? Maybe four Flying Golems—maxing out the number of constructs he could control—to increase his search efficiency? Because if he didn't, this search might never end.

"Tell me again, Maylon… do you have a better alternative for finding Ivana?" Leon asked.

Maylon shook his head slowly. "My bet is still on finding the Dragonkin…" He hesitated for a moment before continuing. "For some reason, I still believe that some of them survived the High Elf Queen's purge. And if they did, they're likely waiting for the right time to take their revenge."

He exhaled sharply. "There's always the possibility that most of the Dragonkin are already under the Queen's control… but we don't have another option."

He sighed. "And with our current strength, I'd say the smartest thing we can do is avoid crossing paths with the High Elf Queen at all costs."

Leon nodded slowly, fully aware of how dire their situation would become if they ended up facing the one person responsible for the near-extinction of dragons—the same ruler who now held absolute power over Yunatea.

Maylon suddenly stood up, stretching his arms. "I have to go do a hellishly boring match. See you later."

He stepped away from his seat, leaving the chair beside Leon empty—at least for a moment.

Then, someone else approached.

"Leon… I'll join you here."

He turned his head and saw a woman with black hair walking toward him.
