Leisurely Farm Life in Beast World-Chapter 1450 - 1447: Casualties
After storing the medicine powder, the old Shaman looked outside the tent: "How are the casualties among the tribespeople?"
Nigel’s smile faded a bit: "Luckily, the orcs went out hunting to exchange for the medicine powder, and the females, old orcs, and little cubs are all hiding in the central cave.
That big cave didn’t collapse, so we only have a few tribespeople who got scratched by falling rocks while protecting the females.
But all the caves near the outside of the mountain range collapsed, just like your cave."
The old Shaman liked to stay in his own cave to study herbs when he was free, so he didn’t like noisy places, and his cave was on the far side from the big cave."
"That’s good, that’s good!" As long as the tribespeople are fine, that’s what’s important.
"By the way, Shaman, when I came back today, Shaman Ji Nuan asked me to pass some words to you."
Then, he repeated Ji Nuan’s words to the old Shaman.
The old Shaman nodded: "It seems we’ll have to temporarily put off the exchange plans, wait for Adong to come back, and have him properly arrange a patrol. We have a lot of wild beasts here, and if they rush in, the females and little cubs will be in danger."
Nigel nodded: "Yes, we have quite a few ferocious beasts in our territory, and as for the hostile tribes... you see..."
Nigel looked at the old Shaman as he spoke. Of course, the Alonso Tribe had hostile tribes; all of them had grudges formed on the Beast God Mountain for reasons that need not be spoken.
The old Shaman naturally thought of this, his eyes forming a dangerous arc: "We should send some tribespeople to keep an eye on them, make sure we don’t get ambushed."
Nigel nodded: "Got it."
"Shaman, are you alright?"
Adong’s voice came from outside the tent, sounding breathless, indicating he’d rushed all the way back to the tribe.
"I was fine ages ago. Waiting for you to rescue me, I don’t even know how long I’ve been buried."
The old Shaman scolded Adong fiercely.
Adong just laughed heartily: "It’s good that you’re alright, haha."
Nigel informed Adong of the discussion he’d just had with the old Shaman, and everyone went off to make arrangements.
Over at the east base, shortly after Nigel and the others left, Xiu Yan and the orcs watched as the hunters returned.
Having been through two such disasters, the orcs were well accustomed to it, the only ones a bit flustered were the Slave Beasts and new tribespeople in the group.
The orcs from the old tribe talked to them about the great disaster on the way back, and after hearing it, their hearts were much more at ease.
As long as the tribespeople weren’t in danger, it was good.
Xiu Yan’s figure was like a flash of lightning, disappearing in an instant.
The orcs were envious: "Xiu Yan is amazing, we can’t catch up at all."
An orc from the old tribe patted another orc on the shoulder: "Alright, let’s just obediently hurry on our way, no need to compare to Xiu Yan. He’s going back to find the Shaman, and there’s no use for us without partners."
The orc scratched his head a bit sheepishly: "Haha, well, brother, I need to hurry back too, I have a partner."
The orc from the old tribe: @#¥%...&*
He looked stiffly at the orc beside him, feeling like the guy’s eyes were radiating disdain for single people.
