Let them offer their loyalty!-Chapter 1506 - 640: Becoming the Northwest King!
Generally speaking, when a "Trialist" signs up for the "Heavenly God Trial," they'll receive some bits of information.
So Zhao Ji knew that the "Heavenly God Trial" might be held in both the Northwest and Southwest regions, and the other "Trialists" would know this as well.
This led to all 22 factions gathering intelligence on those two major regions during this period.
Among that, intel on Qiu Tu certainly took up a significant portion.
Even though a full intelligence network wasn't set up previously in the "Northwestern Region," the major factions still had the basics.
For example, Qiu Tu used to be the most powerful man in the "Northwestern Region," nearly unifying the whole area.
For example, Qiu Tu was a true prodigy of the Human Race—just over two short years, he went from an ordinary Cataclysmic to suddenly rising to Seventh Rank Cataclysmic.
And for example... Qiu Tu had a violent conflict with the "Fog Hidden Association," killing two of its high-ranking members' relatives, fully offending the Association.
Of course... precisely because they knew this intel, they also knew that after advancing to the Seventh Rank, Qiu Tu left the "Northwestern Region" in search of even greater strength.
This is also why, even though they obtained information on Qiu Tu, they didn't really pay much attention to him.
But who would have guessed that Qiu Tu somehow got his hands on a "Heavenly God Trial" spot and joined the trial.
Still, even then, most of the "Trialists" didn't pay much attention to Qiu Tu.
After all, everyone knew Qiu Tu's ranking wasn't due to strength, but territory and population.
These external things, if given to the other factions, might well allow them to directly earn a "Heavenly God Positional Frame" slot.
But for Qiu Tu, it didn't really amount to much.
After all, Qiu Tu's strength was just too weak. A newly ascended Seventh Rank Catastrophe being—let alone facing the Eighth Rank peak crowd—even before the Eighth Rank Deities, he was nothing.
If any faction wanted to seize Qiu Tu's territory, he would have no way to resist.
Which resulted in... aside from one or two "Trialists" paying a little attention to Qiu Tu, the rest still didn't take him seriously.
But then... Qiu Tu showed them in just three days what "crushing all resistance" and "swallowing mountains and rivers" really meant!
In just three days, Qiu Tu retook his faction and began steadily advancing toward unifying the entire "Northwestern Region."
You could say, while all the other factions were collecting information and lying low, Qiu Tu was the first to kick off this trial!
Such a massive move finally made all the factions start to take Qiu Tu seriously, and now they were trying to figure out what exactly he was up to...
Northwestern Region - Eighth Sanctuary - Disaster Zone.
Inside a small, low bungalow, three men and one woman were holding a little meeting.
The four of them all looked different from one another.
The leader was a bald man. He was huge—two meters fifty tall, broad-shouldered and barrel-chested, mysterious and strange runes tattooed all over his face and body, his eyes a bizarre emerald-green, gaze fierce—just looking at him, you could tell he was not someone to be messed with.
He grinned wickedly at the other two men and one woman and said, "You've all seen the newest intel, yeah?"
"A measly little Seventh Rank Deity, actually trying to set his sights on a Heavenly God Positional Frame—what a joke."
"While the other 'Heavenly God candidates' are still biding their time, I see this as a really good opportunity."
At his words, things fell silent for a moment. Then, the woman on his left spoke first.
That woman had a head of pink hair. She had an exotic-looking face, honey-colored skin, a tight black leather outfit paired with black leather boots, and a black curved blade strapped to her slender waist.
Add to that her eyes—like the raging, turbulent Big Sea, sharp and wild—she looked exactly like a pirate queen.
She was sprawled there with the air of a conquering general, then objected, "Boss, I think this is kinda dangerous."
"Because of Qiu Tu, the whole 'Northwestern Region' is basically a giant powder keg right now—ready to blow at the slightest spark. If we recklessly provoke him, we might end up losing more than we gain and set ourselves on fire."
Here she paused, then added, "Also, Qiu Tu's so weak, yet dares to stir up all this trouble—he must have something backing him up."
"If we act rashly without figuring out what trump card he's got, it could cause problems."
Her voice was rough and husky—very bold and brash. She gave off a bit of a tomboy vibe.
But as she voiced her opposition, the bald leader's face darkened slightly. He shot a deep glance at the pink-haired pirate woman, then looked over at the two men sitting on his right.
The two men looked extremely alike—practically identical. But weirdly, one of them had a solid body and a pair of pure white wings, while the other was a silver-white silhouette, no wings at all.
