Ultimately, when the Spirit World unwittingly devoured a weak Material World, a qualitative change was wrought.

In the Material World, to curse the world—the Material World is far too stable; even if the World Origin reacts, it cannot punish you.

But in the Spirit World, things are different—World Will is all. It may truly conjure a bolt of lightning to strike you dead.
