"Did you find what you are looking for?" asked Delilah.

She still hadn't been told what Roy was seeking in this part of the summer land. She just knew that it was something incredible, more so than the idea of getting into the Ashen Land and exploring it.

"No." Roy shook his head at her words and said, "It's not here either."

He felt dispirited. They had been going around for a while but were yet to catch a single sign of the Seven Stars and Three Blessings Fruit.

Delilah's mood was as bad as his. Her slightly furrowed brows were a telltale sign that she was internally frustrated, although she wasn't trying to show it.

The reason she came out so late at night was to have an adventure; what she was getting, though, was a wild-goose chase.

A bad taste was left in her mouth at the thought of exchanging her sleepless night for something fruitless.

Oblivious to her intention, Roy finished examining the area one last time and jumped down the tree, landing next to her as lightly as a feather. He had cushioned his descent by using the energy present in nature, which he could freely control thanks to his Lord-rank physique.

His handsome face suddenly drew near her, and it made her subconsciously lick her rosy lips.

She didn't mean to do this. Licking her lips was a subconscious reaction to seeing a handsome face close up. She didn't know when she developed this bad habit, but it was with her when she became conscious and has stuck with her for as long as she can remember.

Wet and glossy lips framing a gorgeous face with red eyes and sharp brows, it was a stunning sight that could melt the coldest of souls.

Roy, too was unable to remain indifferent to it. He was like any other man with desires and emotions. As the sight of her entered his eyes, he stopped breathing for a moment. Touched by the deep red rays of light flowing out of the crevices on the ground, she looked unbelievably stunning. He couldn't help but be drawn to her. Even his heart skipped a beat.

His behavior put a smile on her face. She was wise enough to notice his obvious attraction towards her.

'I am not a wench that likes to go after men who are already taken, but it's so fun to tease him.' she thought

The natural lighting of this place made her crimson eyes stand out like a white swan among a group of dirty pigs. The moment their eyes met, Roy felt as if his soul had drifted away to a faraway land, causing him to be left with instincts alone.

For a split second, he forgot about everything!

He forgot that he was married!

He forgot to be calculative!

He forgot that lying in a situation like this was better than speaking from the heart!

He even forgot to break eye contact with her as if hooked by the beauty of her glowing deep red eyes!

"Mmm," Roy groaned, adding, "you are beautiful." He replied harshly as he raised a hand to hold her. But she moved faster, leaving his desire unfulfilled.

"Looks like my charms are still effective on you." she giggled and escaped his reach, her back facing him.

The warmth and sweet scent she brought to him went away with her.

Watching her going away from him, he raised his hand to grab her by the wrist but remembering that there was a woman waiting for him back home, he left it hanging in the air for a moment before putting it down and clearing his throat.

'What the heck am I doing? Why am I being flirty with my old flame?! I am already a married man!' he scolded himself in his mind.

"Haha, so funny!" He said grumpily to cover up his embarrassment.

'Ah, I feel bad for playing him.' Delilah thought.

A few seconds later, she turned toward him with a bright look in her eyes and asked, "Are we going to change locations again?"

"We are." Roy gave her a curt nod and continued, "But if I still don't find it, we will go straight to the Ashen Land."

The allure of the Seven Stars and Three Blessings Fruit was irresistible to an unawakened like him. He didn't know what class weapon he would awaken. Maybe it will be trash, or maybe it will be superior to others in quality, but with the help of this unique fruit, trash can be turned into treasure, and treasure can be glorified to unprecedented heights.

However, it wasn't as important to him as exploring the goblin grotto that was somewhere around the distant outskirts of the Ashen Land and obtaining the shard of absolute defense.

The former could upgrade his yet-to-be-awakened class weapon while the latter could help him avoid certain death once per day.

It was obvious which one was more important.

The sun would rise in some hours. By that time, he had to be in Damien's mansion, or else he would cause them to worry.
