"Your performance was exceptional, Delilah. Please take a well-deserved rest now. I will take it from here." Roy's words echoed through the air, as he stepped up to face the looming army of goblins.

Delilah nodded, retreating cautiously behind him.

She knew that if anyone else had offered to take over in this situation, she would have rolled her eyes and sneered at them, but it was Roy.

She had seen him perform miracles, defy all odds to secure victories, and emerge victorious against the most dangerous of opponents time and time again. She couldn't help but believe him when he said that he could handle the tens of thousands of goblins that were glaring menacingly at them.

The goblins, learning from their previous lesson, changed their tactics.

The goblin warriors hastily assembled their shields while the goblin archers and mages released an unrelenting barrage of arrows and fireballs at Roy and Delilah.

The horizon was saturated with the thick, overwhelming presence of arrows and fireballs, so numerous that they blocked out the sky above. A dreadful shade descended over the land as a looming sense of danger and imminent destruction hung in the air. Delilah's heart raced with fear at the sight of this onslaught, feeling the weight of impending doom bearing down upon them. She could only watch as the deadly barrage drew closer, each projectile cutting through the air with a deadly precision, drawing ever nearer to their small party of two.

She looked at the person beside her and was shocked.

'Why is he so calm?'

To her surprise, Roy's face held an expression entirely different than hers. In stark contrast to Delilah's terror, he wore a confident smirk. His expression was so different from hers that it was almost as if they were from different worlds, let alone the same race. The contrast between their emotions was stark and striking, as though they were two completely different people facing this same dire threat.

Roy remained cool and collected, standing firm and unwavering in the face of the approaching danger. This fearlessness in the face of death left the goblins confused and questioning. How could he remain so calm and composed in the midst of such a terrifying onslaught? What secret knowledge did Roy possess that made him so confident and self-assured, even as the attacks of an entire army closed in on him and his companion? Or could it be that he didn't fear death and wasn't worried about the safety of his comrade?

"I possess an unshakable hold on all forms of magic fire below the 9th level." An air of superiority was emanating from Roy, putting him above all things mortal, as he spoke, "In simple terms, those who dare to wield their puny fire spells against me are just signing their own demise." He scoffed, "But alas, why am I even bothering to converse with the likes of you? I highly doubt your feeble minds can even comprehend the words leaving my lips."

His voice was dripping with disdain, making it clear that the combined might of the army of goblins didn't pose him any threat.

"It's time you understood how much of a difference there is in our strength."

With a swift motion of his hand, Roy directed all the fireballs in the air to curve and hit the arrows.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

His actions resulted in a spectacular chain reaction of explosions that destroyed every last one of them.

The tens of thousands of fireballs launched by the goblin mages collided with the tens of thousands of arrows launched by the goblin archers, all thanks to one effortless move by Roy.

The effort of an entire army was rendered useless in the blink of an eye!

The goblins looked on in stupefied disbelief. They were so taken aback by what they had just witnessed that their eyes bulged out of their sockets, threatening to pop out. They had never seen anything like it before!

"Subspace, open up!"

With a determined look on his face, Roy commanded the materialization of his soul spell as he raised his hand. Suddenly, a black hole materialized in the space just above his outstretched palm. It was small at first but quickly grew in both length and width until it was larger than any mountain in sight. Its sheer size was mind-boggling as if it had ripped open a hole in the very fabric of reality. It looked like the mouth of an intergalactic beast that could swallow planets whole.

"Follow my command and release all the Greater fireballs stored inside you," Roy declared with authority. After he had upgraded the subspace soul skill, he had commanded his first shadow to create as many fireballs as he could and put them in his subspace. Shadowless had followed his command as best as he could, spending every second of the last several days filling every knock and corner of the subspace with fireballs. The only time he stopped was when Roy summoned him to battle enemies. Unlike humans and demi-humans, a shadowy creature like Shadowless didn't need rest. This aspect of him really put him above others.

Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!

Without hesitation, Roy pushed his hands forward, and a torrent of tens of thousands of fireballs erupted from the black hole.

The temperature in the surrounding area skyrocketed as each fireball was two to five times larger than an average human, and there were far too many to count.

The target of this fiery onslaught was none other than the army of goblins, who had foolishly dared to challenge Roy and his forces!

The goblin army was thrown into complete disarray as they tried to evade the incoming inferno, but it was to no avail.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The rain of fireballs descended upon them with a fury, exploding upon impact and engulfing everything in their path.

The flame that was released was a combination of many types of magic fire.

It was so intensely hot that everything it submerged was reduced to ashes.
