Levelling Up, I Became The strongest Dragon Elementalist-Chapter 55: Jayden + Draco + Draco The Unbeatable Pair
"Come on... faster!" Jayden urged himself while hearing loud clashing and explosions from the cave in the distance, causing the earth to vibrate each time.
"The fuck is going on?" Jayden bit his lip on seeing the same tree he had just flashed past seconds ago.
Actually, it was the third time he felt like he had used this same path until he had to mark a nearby tree to confirm that.
Jayden halted, rolling his eyes around him.
’Running past one spot three times or am I hallucinating?
No, no one can use such magic, and I’m sure there wasn’t alcohol in the strawberries I ate.
Meaning....
Someone is being this, probably not seeing me, but picking up my vibration and rearranging the path before and behind me.
A third-generation Tamer is somewhere within Zone X.’
Jayden took a stance, "Since walking is trouble," he looked up and rocketed into the sky with a tail of wind, "then I’ll just fly."
Jayden scanned around, knowing the third-generation Tamer would be smart enough to change the cave’s position.
"Hmph... he even created three other decoy caves"
But Jayden easily identified the real one from the tremendous explosive sounds.
Hummingbirds flew away as he drifted into the cave, bending urgently into the underground entrance.
Jayden paused at first, assessing the situation.
About twenty guards dressed like ninjas, whom Jayden identified as water snake tamers, surrounded Draco, who was barely keeping up on his feet.
Just when four ninjas attacked simultaneously, Jayden flew up above them and sent them down with a massive wind kick then landed with his back facing Draco’s.
But not after he started vibrating his body, making the details of his appearance hard to pick, just as Draco was doing.
"Took you long enough" Draco said between ragged breaths.
Jayden kept his eyes fixed on every possible angle. "These are poisonous hydro snake tamers, a hit from these guys slows your blood flow, so avoid getting hit at all costs."
Draco hissed, "No wonder their movements are as flexible as fluid, still that would have been more helpful if you had said earlier."
Jayden side-glanced at Draco, ’Actually, he did well to keep up with their numbers, and where the hell did he get the sense he’s supposed to hide his identity. Now I feel he purposely acts dumb to pull my legs.’
Jayden morphed his tiny voice into a baize fifty-year-old Sargent’s tone, "Hey, Joshua, there’s a really tough guy we don’t wanna run into, so if we get lucky enough to pass these guys. I suggest we retreat."
"Fuck your naming instinct, Candy" Draco said with an Arabic kinda tone. Who knows where he learnt that from? "Just make sure you don’t get your ass fucked."
Jayden laughed shortly while they pushed their backs into each other to build pressure, "You should be more cautious, cuz if you get smaller than you already are, not even a sugar mummy relationship would be left between you and Azure."
"You bet!"
The ninjas made signs amongst themselves then entered a battle formation.
Sixteen of them stood side by side on top of a strong upwards flow of water, a distance away from the volcano, whatever...
While the other four jumped into the circular corridor, planted around the Paramax’s look-alike.
The four groups of ninjas began closing in, two from both sides, while eight from amongst the sixteen, shot water projectiles at Jayden and Draco.
Jayden cracked his neck and whispered. "Let’s kick some ass brother."
"Glad you said." Draco purred while cracking his knuckles.
They flashed to the opposite direction in an instant, Jayden with wind and Draco with flame trailing behind him, while bending between the water projected, which, on touching the wall, appeared to be sticky transparent glue.
Jayden threw a punch at the first ninja, who easily bent backwards like a god of baleh, while also creating an opening to lure the other ninja in.
Just as planned, the guy dressed in complete black, punched the exact spot which Jayden had also created a wind barrier to defend himself.
He immediately twisted with a wind kick, but the Homo sapien, or rather, the elastic still bent above it.
Jayden sensed something penetrating the wind like a bullet closing on him.
He immediately jumped on one foot, just enough to avoid the water projectiles that touched the building and immediately burnt it like acid.
"Tch... It’s acidic too."
He landed and turned to see how Draco was keeping up.
Well, thanks to the fact that his ability was a born nemesis with water, it could be called a toe-to-toe battle except that they were outnumbered.
"The more time we spend here, the worse things become" Jayden grinned, while avoiding both ninjas.
’We might need your help, Draco’, Jayden called in thoughts.
One of the ninjas stretched his leg high for a downward kick, and Jayden walked into it, holding his thighs apart and kicking straight at his third leg, before forming him off the corridor to crumble in his pain.
Now he had lost his generations, all he could do was scream before crashing to the floor.
He then turned to the other one who stood on one foot with that snake in the monkey shadow stance.
Jayden kept eye contact and then kicked his leg to shift his centre of gravity.
The ninja wobbled his arms, fighting to regain his balance, and Jayden immediately pushed him off the corridor.
"I thought you guys were gonna run things on your own." Draco purred in Jayden’s mind.
"You don’t have to be so braggy about it all," Jayden muttered while flipping below and above the acidic liquid.
Jayden looked within himself, hoping Draco would collaborate and moved his life essence core close to Draco in such a way that it touched
His eyes then opened, glowing with blue light, transparent blue scales animated on his skin and at the same time he grew glass-like horns and wings.
He scratched his claws against the metallic building, "Zone state, Wind prospective. Imperfect."
