"Bahahahaha.." the Proud Earth dragon tamer pointed at Jayden, as if he were a born joke, "Someone is trying to play protective daddy in front of me."

M"Don’t get cruky just cuz your S- rank." Jayden spat between clenched teeth

"I’m double S-ranked!"

"Doesn’t mean you aren’t gonna get your ass fucked."

The Earth Dragon Tamer rolled his eyes then held his arms apart. "I’ll give you one free hit, and don’t get wrong, you’ve got a whole t to do whatever you can, because after then, I’m sending you and your friends crippled to hell, then as the organisation does to traitors like you, your corpses would be burnt without a trace."

Jayden raised an eyebrow slightly, ’What organisation is he talking about?’

"The MAGEO has no right over me!"

"Your time is ticking, if I were you, I would capitalise on this with my last watts."

’So it is the MAGEO!’ Jayden thought, then looked back at the EDT and snarled, looking the man dead in the eye, "Your greatest mistake, my dear, is winning that special race in your mother’s pussy."

"Still making noise at death’s door?"

Jayden took a deep breath, and cool wind began swirling around him until it became faster than a tornado, making his clothes wiggle and dust ticken the air.

"What? Are you cooling yourself for your last breath? You’ll be cold soon enough!" EDT bluffed.

Jayden looked within himself and moved the wind and flame core to forty-five degrees on both sides of his chest in such a way that he could use both elements.

He increased his body surface temperature such that the wind immediately after his skin hissed and evaporated, after which it moved to the areas with cooler air and condensed into mist.

The Earth Dragon Tamer’s eyes widened. "T-theres no such thing as a Mist Dragon, H-How are you creating it on solo? Aren’t you..." he pointed at Jayden with shaking limbs. "Aren’t you the four core guy who infuriated the MAGEO’s underground facility?"

Jayden shot him a dangerous glare before he was completely enveloped in mist. "It’s too late to panic now!"

He snapped a finger and the tornado of mist broke away, scattering densely around the hollow terrain.

"You think you can scratch me just because you have four cores? You lie!" The EDT roared, wiggling his wings and waving his arms to drive away the mist but it kept on coming back.

"Even earth manipulators with wings are blind without the ground", Jayden said slowly while flashing past his back, but before he turned, Jayden was gone.

"Don’t play with me you pest!" The EDT gritted his teeth, looking around furiously, sweat dripping from his chin in addition to the natural heat of the mist.

"I’m offering a promo," Jayden purred, blazing past his ear, "Tell me what this building is and you keep your legs for the next one hour."

"Go to hell!" The EDT uprooted a rock from the walls and began shooting it randomly until he got hit to the floor by his own rock.

"Stop making things harder for yourself!" Jayden whispered in his ear.

He slapped behind him but caught only ordinary mist.

"Since you aren’t gonna take my offer..." Jayden’s voice hallowed from a distance, "I’ll make choices for you."

Jayden extended mana from his hand and ignited it into a flaming blade.

The EDT turned to the direction of the light and smiled but fell just as he wanted to attack.

Jayden stood behind him and said before stepping away, "We’ll see each other again next time!"

The EDT’s face twisted, crawling painfully on the floor, "M-mh-my right leg, I can’t feel my right leg."

"You’re alright" Jayden squatted while patting Draco’s head

Draco sniffled back mucus, staring at Jayden with watering eyes. "E- it’s meant to be the other way round... I’m supposed to protect my younger brother..."

Jayden wiped off his tears and placed a hand over Draco’s lips, "That’s enough! You’re looking like a gugu baby because of me, so my responsibility is to protect you until you’ve gained your mana back... alright!"

Draco nodded while wiping off tears.

Jayden smiled, "Good boy... now let’s get outta here before things get worse than they already are."

He then carried Draco in his arms and prepared to launch through the earthen sky, just when that lousy loser began screaming.

"Where do you think you’re going! No one leaves here alive!"

Jayden turned to EDT, "Yo, better shush your mouth or I’ll have someone write me a list of noise makers and ensure to discipline accordingly."

The EDT spat, "What insolent talk... kneel now and I make you die quick."

Draco hissed, "Big lips. If you keep talking, I guarantee you a wedding certificate between you and a wheelchair."

"Don’t give him attention, a doctor would do that pretty soon," Jayden said, then flew upwards with wings completely formed out of wind.

"Damn you brats..."The EDT roared, smashing his fist to the floor, and the cave began shaking, rocks began breaking loose from its top, falling down as sand, before the EDT gave a final hit, and the whole cave roof began falling.

"Fuck... you have a death wish?" Jayden gritted his teeth before rushing at the earth dragon tamer.

Jayden picked him up by his collar and flew to a nearby cave before leaning into him, "No one dies today!, and you aren’t dying on your birthday either."

Jayden then rushed into getting the other ninjas into a safe cave, except maybe the cave beast gets hungry but at least it’s better than getting smashed under rocks.

But of course, he wasn’t flash... time was moving faster than he was, and so were the rocks.

Draco closed his eyelids against the dust and dizziness in the air.

Jayden clenched his teeth—one more second and his buried lowered then the usual depth of the corpses.

He pushed himself upwards with wind, stepping and bending between rocks after rock with every action a questionless gamble.

Until that light of hope that burns in the sky came into sight again.
