Limitless The Strongest Revenant-Chapter 1014: The fucking point [1/2]
Thud! Thud! Thud!
The sound of metal tenderizing meat continued to resound. Even with seven bodies recording, 500 blows needed a lot of time. Especially since I only had one Faker morning star. It was definitely slower than dual wielding, but that was also intentional.
For one, I needed to give my children enough time to recover the damage. If I went too fast, the bulk of the pig quickly shrinks, making it harder for them to heal. Unfortunately, I literally couldn't do anything else as I wanted a clear log for {Fast Forward}.
[My lord, the log has reached 500 entries. Do you wish to test or continue on to 1,000?]
"Let's go 1,000. Frankly, I'm bored of filling up these logs. The next one I make will be it for the foreseeable future."
[I understand. Then I will inform you when we have reached 1,000.]
"Thanks."
Out of boredom, I began to listen to the people in my surroundings. Despite all my avatars facing the pig, our senses were sharp enough to "see" what was going on.
And, as expected, just hearing the opinions of others made the task less monotonous.

A large hulking lizard asked as he bit the shoulder of his lover, "Juno, you know I have been thinking."
"Mhmm… What is it, husband? If it's those sex positions you learned from the internet, the answer is no," Juno snapped in an amorous voice.
"Slurp, ha… no, it's not that. I was just thinking, seeing Limitless remake this giant pig again and again, doesn't he have infinite meat? He can cut it up, eat it, and just have his machines shoot it back to full health."
Hearing Roach's suggestion, Juno pulled away and stared at him. "You only realize this now, husband?" she said, frustrated. "Why do you think I no longer pester you to feed our broods? I have been using {Rewind} to solve our crises with food."
"Oh? Really? Can I do that too?"
Juno facepalmed and answered in an irritated voice, "Yes, Roach, you can. Why do you think your weapons never run out of ammunition?"
"What is ammunition?"
"Sigh, never mind. Just know that the Vithriss and I intend to abuse {Rewind} as much as we can. I even have the other Vithriss approach the other Reborn. We are trying to get them to join us with the promise of never having to hunt again."
"Oh? Who did you send? And who are they trying to talk to?" Roach asked as he licked the blood oozing from his wife's neck.
"I sent her and her. The groups they are going to are the closest ones to us. The bearmen and the harpies."
"Hmm. I see. I now understand why Limitless treasures his mates. Hearing you do all this for me makes me happy. I want to mate. Spread your legs."

Juno pouted, but I heard her heart begin to race. I didn't know if she was still a cold-blooded reptile. But, the thumping from her chest meant she liked her lover's suggestion.
"Come with me. Let's do it in a hut."
"Why? Can't we do it here?"
"I-I'm embarrassed," the Vithriss declared shyly.
"Huh? Embarrassed? What is that? Can you eat it? Is this because you look more like the Reaper's now?"
"I am unsure. But I do not feel comfortable mating here. Come on, follow me."
"I don't get it," her lover replied, annoyed.
I then heard the sound of Juno and Roach leaving the area. Hopefully more Lizardkin Dragons get created from their union. It surprised me that Juno was using {Rewind} to negotiate with other reborn species.
'But it is becoming harder to understand their shit. For one, aside from Roach and Juno, none of them use names. I should tell them to pick names for themselves to make coordination with Reapers easier.'

In another part of the battle zone, my twelve saints were debating.
"Like I was saying, if we're tryna fight an Archdemon, we should lowkey just use the Faker's as the base and wrap it in blessed metal."
"Sis, you trippin', you got it all mixed up. The core should be Sacred's and the jacket should be Fakers. That way the Sacred makes it easier for the anti-soul to hit. What you think, Aisha?"
"Hmm, I peeped how the Vithriss were fighting earlier; it's all about the part. Remember when we fought the demonkin? You guys saw it too, right? Once you hit a certain point, the Sacred just behaves like basic ammo. I think relying on just one is sus."
"But Van and Terence are on the same wave. Even that vid Exa showed about the AP tank round was on the same vibe. Trust me, this is how you make a stronger Sacred."
"Ugh, this is giving hopeless. The fight earlier helped, but what if other demonkin and Archdemons got different vibes with their malice? The new Sacred's gotta be fire for everything. Lowkey, I have no clue how to make that happen! "
"Sis, didn't you see Patron's stick? He used {Fates} on the stuff around the Faker greatswords. That's why they didn't clash."
"Claire, we already tried that; it was a fail. Exa doesn't even know. It's probably because of Patron's new {Kismet} or something."
"Deadass! Patron's just a gigachad! Dude's a human mod pack, always coming up with new stuff. Yvonne, can't we just use his new {Kismet} to make the new Sacred? That way we can ask for a reward!"
"Eva, the task is on us. It's not even our dub if he just cheats and does it for us."
"AHHH! We've been stressing this for days, no cap! We haven't even slept! Look at my eye bags, girl!"
Hearing Gen Z teenagers stressing about our matters made me chuckle. Others their age were normally talking about boys and getting drunk. But my saints were thinking of ways to kill an Archdemon. A being that would cause most humans to die from fear.
They always acted like spoiled, aggressive little shits. So, I almost forgot an important fact: Vela's wolves were one of the strongest groups we had. They may use dumb slang, but in terms of power, skill, and determination, they were second to none.
Listening to them debate about how to create the Sacred round gave me a sense of pride. If it was Yvonne's group, I knew they all would not let me down. Simply because, much like me, these girls would not stop until they found a way.
The commands I gave on a whim were literally being brought to reality by those under me. It felt weird, but this was also part of my power and influence. Somehow I once again realized that while I was still not a Revenant, I was no longer just John Smith.
'Do your best, girls. I look forward to the results. I wonder how Cynthia is doing?'

Finally, the last group around was the Africans. They were by far the most humorous of the ones I eavesdropped on.
"I know I shouldn't be saying this, but I am starting to feel sorry for Rashid. He should have died hours ago. How has he still not gone insane?"
"I asked Exa. Supposedly, the machines sometimes shoot tranquilizer bullets that numb Rashid's brain. But it only lasts for a few seconds. The malice that would cause his soul to collapse is also occasionally cleansed with Sacreds," Zanele explained.
Some of the African leaders scratched their heads in confusion, "What are Sacreds?"
"They are the regular bullets blessed by the Hellsend Saints. Unlike our Shamans, they fight on the front lines. You saw the group of girls that fought alongside the Awakened. Those are Vela's Wolves, Hellsend's strongest Saints," Amari explained.
