Little Tyrant Doesn’t Want to Meet with a Bad End-Chapter 604.2: Godslaying (2)
Chapter 604.2: Godslaying (2)
Following their brief conversation in the inferno, Roel suddenly released an immeasurable flood of mana, and the skeleton giant clad in crimson lightning regained its ability to move. Under the powers of the Crown Origin Attribute, a glorious crown manifested on Grandar’s head.
The skeletal Sovereign let out a furious roar as he stabbed his hands into the exterior of the blazing sphere before pulling it apart, ripping the second sun in the sky into two.

A sky-shattering explosion shook the world. Everything was inundated by a blinding white light that enveloped both Roel’s and Grandar’s silhouettes. The intense shockwave shoved aside everything else in the sky.
“!”
The Deviant Sovereign’s face darkened. The human soldiers let out worried exclamations, not knowing what the significance behind this explosion was.
“That is…”
However, the truth became apparent several seconds later, as a skeleton giant swooped from the sky down upon the Deviant Sovereign. Hope rekindled in the eyes of the human soldiers.
Banjol impassively raised his scepter as he sneered, “Futile.”
A blinding light rushed forth from the Deviant Sovereign, but this time around, it came not from the Solar Scepter but a traditional-looking shield.
“This is the other divine artifact bestowed on me as the Savior’s High Priest, God’s Protection. This shield was forged from twelve layers of divine barriers when the world was divided into two. It represents the twelve hours of daytime under the Savior’s jurisdiction, the authority over half of the world.” Banjol looked at the crowd as he spoke, as if he was spreading god’s miracles.
In the ancient past, this shield was hung in the Sun God’s mountainous city. Not even the Demonic Beast Sovereign was able to do anything to the city due to the shield’s protection. Furthermore, it was currently daytime, the time when the shield was at its strongest.
This was the very embodiment of the Savior’s powers.
Intense pulses of light radiated from Banjol, dyeing his body golden. He looked at the skeleton giant descending upon him as he readied his counterattack.
He was planning to block Grandar’s attack with God’s Protection before immediately retaliating with the Solar Scepter. A direct attack from the divine artifact was bound to obliterate anyone, even if the latter was the overwhelmingly powerful Kingmaker.
Roel’s heart shook as danger bells rang in his mind. He instinctively understood that Banjol was preparing an attack that was potent enough to end him for good despite his powerful defenses. Even so, he continued channeling his mana toward the skeleton giant, refusing to retreat.
He fervently believed that the ancient shield couldn’t withstand Grandar’s attack, thus the attack charging up behind the ancient shield would never reach him.
“God’s Protection? A divine artifact representing the Savior’s authority? So what?” Roel roared.
His body had started blurring from the intense friction arising from the extreme speed he was traveling, and his eyes blazed with golden flames.
Grandar was the one who had obliterated the Savior’s very body countless years ago, creating a new future for all living beings. How could a mere incarnation of the Savior’s authority possibly stop him?
“Crush it, Grandar!” Roel ordered.
The skeleton giant smashed his fist down with a furious roar.
The boundless force concentrated in his fist stirred a revolving tempest that engulfed the entire sky, and just the shockwaves were enough to shatter the fabrics of space and time. Faced with such powerful might, the golden shield shone with increasing fervor as its twelve divine barriers expanded into mini-worlds to contain the punch.
When the two forces collided, the descending skeleton giant instantaneously halted his body.
Banjol revealed a smile, but his smile only lasted a brief moment before stiffening up.
The brilliant light from God’s Protection wavered intensely before the outermost mini-world abruptly shattered.
“How could this be?” Banjol roared in disbelief.
Pah! Pah! Pah!
The sound of shattering glass persisted as the other mini-worlds shattered one after another. Banjol finally couldn’t maintain his composure anymore. Watching as the world-devastating fist drew closer to him, he hurriedly released the spell he had been channeling in his Solar Scepter.
An instantaneous beam of light engulfed Roel’s vision.
This was an attack that sought to decimate everything within its range, and it had been further enhanced by the Solar Scepter on top of that. Even a god of Banjol’s level would have fallen prey to this attack.
Yet, Grandar stood unfazed.
He merely responded with another swing of his fist, as his domain of sunset plain manifested behind him, occupying half of the sky within a split moment. The blinding golden light vanished in an instant, and the raging explosions were drowned out by a flood of cheers.
They had been transported from one battlefield into another.
Countless giant warriors brandished their swords as they roared their ruler’s name, entrusting their strength and unyielding spirit to him. Before their expectant eyes, Grandar’s punch finally landed.
It was a sky-splitting attack harnessing the faith of the Giants, a strike to rebel against the gods. Even the world creaked in fear before the prowess of Grandar’s fist. The golden beam of light was split into two, as the twelve mini-worlds shattered one after another.
Banjol’s eyes narrowed. It was different from before, but he could tell that this sunset plain was none other than Grandar’s Divine Domain. The realization of that prompted him to shout, “Egg of the Beast God!”
The massive black egg charged at Banjol and wrapped the latter’s body within itself.
Despite the intense shockwave arising from Grandar’s strike, the Egg of the Beast God and Banjol still successfully fused together and began to stir. Through its pitch-black surface, Roel caught a vague glimpse of the humongous creature lying within.
Following that, the Egg of the Beast God suddenly shattered.
Emerging from within was the beast-headed giant, who was lauded as Grandar’s equal in the ancient era. Banjol had used his ‘Recreation’ ability to alter his body once more.
By then, Grandar’s fist had shattered the last mini-world and was swiftly advancing on him. Banjol let out a deafening beast howl, as he hurled his fist to deal with Grandar’s fist, which had lost much momentum over the course of the attack.
The beast-headed giant was a supreme life form Banjol created by combining the superior traits of the Giants’ ‘Strength’ and the Beastmen’s ‘Resilience’. It was a being who surpassed even the limits of a god, which was why he was confident that he could withstand Grandar’s attack.
However, Banjol had forgotten that his enemy wasn’t alone.
“Shatter,” Roel murmured as he employed his final trump card.
The shattered fragments of his soul wrapped around his body and changed his appearance. His black hair turned silver, and his blazing golden eyes quietened down into impassive serenity.
“That’s impossible! You are…” Banjol widened his eyes in disbelief upon seeing Roel’s form.
That inviolable yet familiar aura filled him with fear, but that didn’t stop Roel and Grandar’s attack.
“With this attack, I shall create the future,” Roel declared as he channeled unprecedented mana toward Grandar.
The skeleton giant finally swung his fist down to end everything.
