Brang!!

"Cough.. cough.. hayst, this place is really full of trash!"

A man who is covered in dust from his to toe fan the dust away from his face as he complain.

This man is Von, a 19 year old youth who think of his own life as worthless. He is also a delusional youth who think that anime characters are real and live just in another universe or something...

"Just how many years did it have to take to accumulate this much trash?" he said

He pick up a old magazine full of dust on the floor. He wipe the dust a bit and saw that it’s a men’s magazine. It have a pretty girl posing seductively on her underwear as a cover.

Von can’t help but whistle when he saw the cover girl.

"Whistle... Is this a treasure of the one who live here before?"

He open it and saw that some of the parts are already fading. When he got bored with it he throw it away somewhere around this buch of trash-filled place.

You might be curious at to what he is doing. It is just the "glorious" job of cleaning the basement of his house. The trash was left behind by the previous owner.

’19 years old and already have a house?’ you might also be thinking about right? This house is actually their family’s property they just chose to rent it out for extra income.

Their family is not rich they are just slightly affluent and bought this bungalow house with save up money of his parents when he was still a child.

"Sigh... I have to clean this place up, or else I might gain a respiratory disease because of all the dust." he said and started picking up those that look like still in one piece like books, planks of wood, cartons, etc.

After 15 minutes, Von cleaned almost half of the trash in the basement. He breath out loudly and look up at the remaing trash.

"Hooo.. Yes.. just a little bit more and I will be finish." he said and use the towel hanging on his shoulder to wipe the sweat all over his face.

Then he stretch his body and "cracks" of his bones sounded from his body.

"Aaahh... so comfortable.." Von smile as he felt his body relaxing a bit.

Then Von walk towards an old looking table and pick up the water bottle on it. He twisted the cap, open it and drank the water.

He put down the bottle and look around.

It was at that moment.

Something rolled out from one of the pile of "trash".

It is a small red marble the size of a thumb. There is nothing especial on its looks, it just look like a plain red marble.

That is if you don’t look at it intently and just took a glance it. But if you look at it closely it is actually glowing a dim red light.

When Von saw that, he approach it and pick it up. He look at it closely as he inspect it.

"How is this thing glowing?" Von muttered, "Is this a precious mineral or something?"

Von took a step forward as he continue to look at it close to his face, but because his focus is on the marble he did not notice an object just below his feet.

Because of that he was trip.

"Whoa!"

Bang!

He fall down and became covered in more dust.

As he tried to get up, he felt something going inside his mouth and rolling down on his throat.

"Ackk... cough.. cough ack.."

He drum his chest to try to force out the thing on his throat but it is to no avail.

Then a thought flash in his mind as he saw the bottle on top of the table,

’Should I just swallow it?’

So, instead of continuing hammering his chest, he run to the water bottle from the table and drunk from it hurriedly.

Gulp!

He use the water inside his mouth to push down the thing stuck on his throat.

Finally, the thing flowed down with the water.

"Hoo... thought I was gonna die!" Von breath a sigh of relief, as he touch his throat.

"What the hell was that anyway?" he ask himself, when he then notice that the marble he was holding is not on his hands anymore.

It down to him at that moment.

"The thing I swallowed was a marble!?" he said with a wierd look on his face.

"Won’t I die because of that?" he mutter seriously. "Oh well! If I die then I die, that’s just how life is..."

Von said and just forgot about it and continue with his cleaning chore.

30 minutes later.

Von finish with cleaning the basement. Although its not spotless kind at least its clean.

"Ugh.. I finally finish cleaning." he speak as he stretch his aching body.

Then Von give the basement one last look and he walk upstairs.

Von directly headed to the bathroom to clean up his body that is full of dust and other kind of things.

After Von shower, he go to the kitchen.

Von open the cupboard and grab a packet of noodles. He boil water and thrown in the noodles and waited for it to cook.

10 minutes later the noodles is already placed on a bowl. Von ate it with a cold coke straight from the fridge.

After Von ate he look at the clock and notice that it is already night time.

He headed to his room to sleep.

That night Von dream of some wierd thing. In the dream he have some sort of space powers, and it also used as a gateway to another world.

A world of destruction, where the dark side of the humanity prevail and where zombies and mutated animals and plants covered the whole world.

The Apocalypse!

They talk for a few minutes more and then go to their respective rooms for rest.

When John is alone in his room he check his system. He finish the mission that it gave him and will get the reward.

He open his system and selected the missions. There he saw his mission with a stamp of Completed with it.

He tap the mission and it exploded and become a gift box. He open the box and the amount tokens and AP that he have change number into 100 and 5 respectively.

’I wonder what I can buy with this, Im getting excited!’

He started getting excited with the prospect buying things within the system shop and improving his attributes.

He look into his stats,

’Now, where should I put this points? hmmm,’

He first look at his status and contemplated as to what he should his Attribute points with.

"I really want everything to have a balance, maybe I should just make it all have the same number," his eyes widen as if he just thought of a bright Idea.

After a few minutes of thinking he finally decided to make his attack, defense and agility to have an equal number. 𝑓𝑟𝑒𝘦𝓌𝑒𝑏𝑛𝑜𝘷𝑒𝘭.𝒸𝘰𝑚

This decision is because he want all his capabilities to have a balance attribute to support one another and to have no or almost no flaws with it.

In games, players think of what will make their respective class fight more efficiently so they put their limited AP to what is the focus of the class. But John does not have to think of this problem, his AP does not come from a level up but from the system so he can just add more AP to whatever is lacking next time the system rewarded him with AP.

With that he proceeded as he plan and put his AP.

This has become his final attributes.

"Now I’m finish with the attributes so what comes next is the SYSTEM SHOP!" he said to himself excitedly.

After everything is done with the attribute points he look into the system shop. Without further ado he tap the Shop button and saw a lot of things. There are all kinds of categories in the shops but almost all of them are blurry and can’t be seen. There are only three categories that are readable. First, Common, here all the common things can be bought cheaply, just like a shirt, a pant, underwear and many more, and it also not just contain things from this world but from the world that he came from too.

The second category is the Armory, It contain all kinds of equipment, weapon of all kinds from short range to long range, armor of all kinds from light weight to full body armor. This category contain legendary equipment from the mythologies, like the hammer of thor, the cap of hades, the trident of poseidon and the lightning of Zues.
